Tout : Un petit cocon décoré avec beaucoup de goût dans un cadre magnifique. Une hôtesse très accueillante. La possibilité de disposer d’une belle petite cuisine commune est un must.

Pues la verdad es que nos pilló un temporal de nieve y no pudimos llegar al alojamiento. nos quedamos en un albergue en el lago. Al ver que no llegábamos el personal de este hotel se puso en contacto con nosotros para ver si estábamos bien.

Wonderful calm place to stay, I did not want to leave!

Beautifully decorated and comfortable appartment. By far and away the best we stayed in during our trip. It was so calm and quiet, i loved the long track to get there. I have never slept so well. I was not sure about the shared kitchen but actually it worked really well and had everything you needed. I will come back if I ever need to relax and have some time to myself!

A beautiful stay at Granastadir Guesthouse

This was one of my favorite accommodations overall, and it was definitely the best accommodation we've had in Iceland. Location is close enough to Husavik, on a beautiful little farm with an amazing view to the hill with a small waterfall and horses, rabbits, flower house. Everything was new, clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped perfectly for our stay. Hosts helped us organize late check-in and were available for additional questions. Joint kitchen area with board games and basic things like coffee, tea, etc. We felt like being at home and will returm one day for sure. Thank you!

With a bit more luggage, we had to organize the space a bit in order to fit our suitcases. But despite smaller room, the space was perfectly used and we had everything we needed.

Very cosy, spacious, nicely decorated, nice collection of books, heated floors....

Kitchen and bedrooms are in seperated buildings, which took some ´organisation´, but was actually fine.

Luxurious stay in north Iceland

Very luxurious guesthouse. Close to Husavik and Iceland's "Diamond Circle". Very friendly and helpful owners. Nice and spacious garden, with sufficient privacy if you want to eat outside (if the Icelandic weather allows for it).

The 2-bedroom suite that we booked was large, just be aware that there is no living room or kitchen. We could use the common kitchen though, which was extremely well equipped.

The place was magnificent. This was our best stay in Iceland thus far. The room was comfortable with a table outside and a view to a waterfall. We stayed later than any other during our visit to Iceland. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was surrounded by a wonderful landscape: a small waterfall just in front ot the site, horses wandering around.

The location was perfect, horse ranch nested against mountain with waterfall, the whole property was wonderful and the owner took great pride in upkeep. The visit to the green house was also awesome

The location, room, kitchen house, surrounding is wonderful!

In the bathroom there is a sign not to use too much warm water because the owners of the house have to pay for it. I believe that the price should cover the little water we use, it just makes you feel bad, that was the only negative thing.

The road to the guesthouse was not paved. Lot of potholes and driving conditions were dangerous. It is about 9 KM stretch which was extremely inconvenient to drive

Every thing was very good. Carefully arranged ammenaties, interior, very clean and tidy. Even Shampoo and balsams were quality products. I liked specially smell of home and court. Landscape was very beutiful also. We were on high season thus paid bit a lot (250euro), but this house worth that money fully. . We were very disappointed about Iceland accomodation's unjustifed rocket high price compared to poor quality, but Granastadir guest house was exceptional.

The location is remote but still not too far from the main attractions in the north (Husavik whale watching, Godafoss falls). Beautiful surroundings. The apartment is very clean and well maintained, very comfortable for four people (two separate bedrooms), bathroom has a much appreciated floor heating.

No dishwasher in the shared kitchen

Small but very convenient and clean. We had a little kitchen in our room and we could also use a shared bigger kitchen near our room. Shower was comfortable with all basic things like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Internet was fast.

I’m not sure but it seems that a main door has problems with closing with a keys.

This is a cute little guesthouse with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and common dining area. Both rooms have their own kitchenettes as well if needed. The property is a short drive away from the main road which means it is very quiet. The owner was very nice and helpful. The guesthouse is very new and well-equipped. Plenty of parking space on the property.
