The view was beautiful and the bed super comfortable!
The only thing 4-star in this hotel was the price of the room. In our first room the tap in the sink didn’t work, so we were switched to another, smaller room for the same price. That room wasn’t really clean (several cigarette stumps in the balcony, dusty surfaces and things on the floor which made it seem it wasn’t vacuumed) and the next morning we realised we didn’t have any warm water to shower. When we mentioned all this upon check-out (were only booked there for a night), it seemed the staff didn’t really understand english and didn’t do anything about. Instead told us we still had to pay the city-tax of 3.- each

good value for money, central location yet quiet , good breakfast, very friendly staff
slightly dated decoration but it’s comfy

Good view of the mountains.
The snow on the way to the hotel was not cleared, and not light in the road

great room with an exceptional view
access path to hotel needs light

The owners paid for the next hotel where we stayed!
( which was the minimum they could do while their hotel was not offering the minimum standards of a hotel in Switzerland)
we had to move to another hotel as there was no hot water and not enough heating in the room meanwhile outside was -14 degree Celsius.
As we were a group of 10 people , I would have appreciated that the owners of the hotel to notify us in advance and provide a solution before letting us check in at the hotel and let us wait for the water to get warm without a notice period.

Location is central and we were lucky to get a suite with a great balcony and a stunning 180 view of the surrounding mountains
The road up to the hotel could have been cleared, icy and dangerous. Parking is limited and would be a struggle if the hotel was full

The location of the hotel is very central and close to the main facilities of Crans. The room very clean. The staff - especially in the breakfast room - was nice and polite.
The hotel is a bit old and would need to be refurbished.

nice well laid out - I liked it because it reminded me of The Overlook in the Shining - 70’s retro furniture - our room was large with the most amazing views of the mountains Ryan and David were great and super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice if a little limited. Large balcony. Also has a nice little gym.
we like a spa especially after a hard day hitting the slopes and even though the guys allowed us to use the spa…the steam room didn’t work and the showers had no hot water - the sauna did work.

The staff was incredible! We arrived around 1am and we were able to do the check in at that hour without any issues. We went to breakfast at 12:30pm and they allowed us to still serve breakfast. The atmosphere was really nice and friendly and I would gladly come back here!

Ok for one night stay and clean
Not easy access to ski lifts, poor service and attitude.

Breakfast was OK; the main course at dinner was excellent (but only 1 choice for all). The room and hotel was quiet, and the view was excellent.
It definitely did NOT seem like a 4-star hotel; but was priced at it. The very limited staff seemed temporary and very uncertain of their roles. The restaurant was adequate, with a very good main course; but otherwise disappointing: old dried bread, poor desert, inadequate choices (1 item only) and confusion. I ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine (28chf), but at checkout was billed 75chf for it; and the receptionist was too harried to be able to correct it. There was no ski room available; no ancillary services. And, the hotel was very dated (70s), but not classic in style.

The staff is welcoming and very helpful, i had a baby with me and they were very caring all the time.
the hotel is very much like a family house, everybody remembers you and says hi as soon as you get in, even the other guests.
although there were no choice in the menu, we asked for something different and we got it, and the food was excellent.
everything is a little bit old fashioned and used.. the fitness is not very clean and could be upgraded.
the coffee is really bad, i think it's instant coffee, to bad there was no expresso machine.
