We really did think this was a great place for our week. Looking straight onto the harbour with all amenities close by. Anstruther is a great phase to explore the Easy Neuk from.

Spacious second floor flat with harbour views. Well equipped. Central location. Bed in en-suite comfortable. Second double bed ok but the bed base may be old - very squeaky! Access is via a (wide) spiral staircase so is good exercise. It’s a real bonus having the fish and chip shop downstairs! Ian is a very friendly and helpful host.

Poperty is not modernised. Needs new towels and pots and pans.
Boiler was broken so no hot water or heating. 2 radiators were provided.
Carpets in lounge quite stained.
£75 refund did not compensate for inconvenience ..

My initial impression was the spaciousness of the flat and the lovely view over the harbour.
Everything was comfortable and clean and a good set of notes was provided beforehand to let me know how to get in and work various pieces of equipment.
Anstruther itself is a nice small town. I walked along the coast both ways, there is quick bus connection to St Andrew's and on to Dundee, as well as plenty to see in the hinterland.

A quirky property full of interesting corners right in the heart of Anstruther.
If you like a bit of buzz, this is one for you. Lovely and cool in the hottest of weather, which is what we experienced over three days.

Lovely apartment. It is well equipped for self catering. Fabulous location, opposite the harbour. We found parking just up the road behind the apartment which had no time restrictions. A relaxing break was had.

Classic top floor with two bedrooms and full baths, fully equipped kitchen and convenient to coastal villages and, of course, St. Andrews. We stayed 4 nights and look forward to returning.

Very enjoyable stay flat spacious and cosy. Staying in the centre of the village every thing in walking distance lots to see and do buses run hourly to St Andrews taking in all the small villages on the route good day out. We had a problem with heating and warm water on the first night Ian the owner came over from Edinburgh to sort it at 21.30 very pleasant host. Enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, as well as being quite spacious and roomy. The views over the harbour are outstanding, and the central location makes all of Anstruther’s attractions within easy walking distance. Communication with Iain was efficient and easy, including a courtesy call during our stay to ensure everything was in order. Overall, a great wee hideaway at a very reasonable price

We chose this property for the harbour location & it’s excellent reviews & we were not disappointed. We will return & have already recommended the apartment to
some friends. Any queries were answered promptly & as a couple who take several breaks yearly, this property will be one of our go to choices.

The property is in a great location and the views from it over the harbour are stunning. The living room and master bedroom are really big and the en suite is really nice. The cleanliness in the kitchen and shower room was not very good.the grout on the tiles in the shower cabinet is badly discoloured and the sealer and ceiling are covered in mould and wash basin taps loose.Stale smell in kitchen coming from dishwasher when we arrived. We had to run the dishwasher on the hot cycle twice to get rid of the smell. The kitchen sink tap is leaking we had to wrap a dish towel round it as it was leaking onto the work surface. We had to put all the dishes and cutlery through the dishwasher as they were not very clean. There was a dried in blood stain on one of the pillow cases and pillow. There is food and clothes belonging to other people in cupboards and the wardrobes. This is a rental flat and should not have food from previous guests still in the cupboards .This could be a really nice flat to come on Holiday to but lacks good housekeeping. So because of the issues stated we would not come back to it. D Bryson

The apartment is comfortable and quickly heated when necessary. The pictures and other adornments are in the best of taste. The tv reception is good but WiFi and phone haywire. Ian is easy to contact, pleasant and helpful. We loved Anstruther and our view of it from the window

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is truly amazing—views of the harbor from the windows, right on shore street steps from shops and restaurants, and about 250 feet from a bus stop from which you can travel anywhere from within Fife to Edinburgh. Hosts Ian and Caryl are top notch—very responsive, attentive to needs. Highly recommend.

The flat was very well equipped and spacious. We had planned on eating out but the kitchen had everything we needed to cook good food and there are fantastic fish shops close by. Car parking was easier than we anticipated. It was£1.50 for 24hours on the car park to the left of the flat so we came and went all day. The only fault I could find was that there were plenty of towels but they were past their best. I would take my own next time. Other than that it was brilliant.

From the very moment we booked until the end, the entire experience was positive and wonderful on every level. Ian, the owner, went far above and beyond to make our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. The flat is delightful as is the town. Highly recommend. I would absolutely return.
