1. I did not wonder around for who is going to help me during arrival, i was expected and welcomed.
2. I was asked if i am still comfortable with my bookings or if there is any changes that they should take note off.
3. The staff put us at ease and be part of Family at all cost.
4. The Staff asked us if there is any activities that we are planned or the should help to introduce us to local Adventurous activities that will keep us busy during our stay.
To be honest i have nothing that i or my partner we both didn't like or may made us uncomfortable.

Lee and Francois are fantastic hosts, and the views are breathtaking!

The hostess moved two (of 6) of our party to one of the apartments on our last evening which became a wonderful night overlooking the Knysna lagoon. The design and decor of the buildings are amazing (each room adorned with high resolution images of the eagle the room is named after; I found myself marvelling at the majesty of these birds). The breakfast was adequate. The "fish eagle omelette" was very tasty despite being a little 'thin' (lacking in volume and fluffiness). The hostess-manager, Lee, deserves 5 stars for making us feel at home - sharing of herself and making this a memorable stay indeed. We want to go back for sure.
Only two apartments had braai facilities. We sense the lodge is focussed on international tourists (instructions and information leaflets in German and English only - how about Afrikaans and Xhosa, the other two recognised official languages in the province of the Western Cape?). The pricing also seems to target the traveller with Euros or British pounds.

Lee was very friendly and helpful.
Our stay was too short and we will definitely be back.
The setting feels like something our of a movie... the view is amazing... really a great spot to spend some time and unwind, close enough to everything but far enough away to feel secluded.
A small microwave and some cutting utensils would have been a nice to have.
