Two bedrooms open onto generous balconies host to seating areas with views of the tower, swimming pool and Tuscan hillside. Another bedroom opens onto a large stunning veranda (Loggia) equipped with lounge furniture and offering enchanting views of the entire surroundings.
All bedrooms in the villa have air conditioning.
The scenic medieval tower adjacent to the villa has five floors of furnished living area and a lower-ground floor housing a laundry room, pool equipment and ample storage areas that can also be accessed from an exterior door. The ground floor features a recreational leisure room with a billiard table, bar tables, seating and a decorative fireplace. A medieval staircase leads to the upper floor (first floor), where there is a big, well-equipped dine-in kitchen. The second floor features a beautiful bedroom with an adjacent full bathroom. The fourth and last floor of this ancient tower has a full floor salon equipped with a projector and ample seating for viewing films. The stone Piazza of 150 sqm is the perfect entertaining space to host large seated dinners, receptions and doubles as a dance floor. The hills around Fiesole have always been admired for their beauty, since the time of the Etruscans. Many artists have come to these areas to admire the natural elegance of the Tuscan countryside, expertly designed with olive trees, cypresses and areas left in the woods. These include the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier. In Fiesole we recommend not to miss a visit to the Etruscan Museum and the wonderful Roman Amphitheater, where high-quality dance, theater and music performances take place in the summer. The imposing Church of San Romolo is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. The nearby climb of San Francesco leads to a belvedere near the monastery of the same name, with a view of the plain of Florence.
For walkers we recommend a descent into the old via fiesolana, which from Piazza Mino leads to the base of the hill, passing through glimpses of views of Florence and gates that allow you to glimpse ancient mansions of the Medici family.
Florence is only 20 min by car. You can visit this beautiful city and enjoy your entire day there, and be back after dinner.
The nearby Pratolino (2Km), is famous for the Villa Demidoff, a Medici estate, complete with a lake and a famous sculpture of a Giant. In the village you will find a supermarket, a wonderful fruit and vegetable store a bar, a laundromat and Zocchi Restaurant.
In just half an hour by car you can reach beautiful golf courses near Barberino in Mugello. Nearby there is also a beautiful lake, Bilancino, with a Beach Club, Kayaking and Sailing.. Just 5 minutes by car you can reach the tennis courts and the USD Caldine sports center.
We are at the end of a dirt road, about 400 meters long, at the end of which our villa is located. It is easy to travel by car and on foot, but we recommend that you use your car for your travels to other destinations.

Torre San Pietro
(20 minutes drive from Florence)
We stayed at the prestigious Villa Torre San Pietro for one week with our two physician sons and their families (six adults and two children).
Having visited Italy many times before, this stay at Villa Torre San Pietro made us feel at home and allowed us to experience the aristocratic life of Italy.
The Villa features:
- 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, luxurious bathrooms that look straight out of Architectural Digest.
- Comfortable bedding and high-end linens & towels.
The Villa is beautifully decorated with paintings and antique Italian furniture.
Between the majestic stone watchtower dating back to the 13th century, which our 9-year-old and 5-year-old grandkids called "The Castle."
There is the heated pool.
(Note: Pool heating costs an additional $25 per day.
While we could have stayed in the Tower, which spans four levels, We opted to use the Villa for accommodation and the Tower for hanging out and playing billiards.
Cosimo and his wife Cinza, a great chef, greeted us upon arrival and provided instructions. We gave them a 500 Euro cash deposit, which was returned upon departure.
Before our arrival, we ordered groceries, from the provided list.
Cinza always responded and even prepared dinner for us when we arrived.
A car is essential or you can hire Cosimo as your driver. Florence is only 20 minutes by car.
Thank you, Maurizio and Janet, for the opportunity.
to enjoy your beautiful Villa.
Hope to be back, Gary&Hilda

We had a group of 10 friends on this trip. We had the most fabulous stay at this villa. Gorgeous grounds, the pool was perfect, the villa was lovely. Cinceza, our chef, was amazing. She cooked for us 3 nights and the food was incredible. Her and her husband, Cosmo, also did a cooking class for us, which was so fun. Everything about the stay was just as we had hoped.
The only suggestion we would make- there is one bedroom with two twin beds and another with just a trundle twin bed. We would suggest putting queen beds in those rooms so that couples can stay there, as needed. We had one couple that had to stay in the room with twin beds, and they would have preferred a queen.
Maurizio and Cinzia were so easy to work with and very responsive. Thank you for a beautiful visit to Tuscany!

The property was exactly as described and could not have been more lovely! all the amenities were perfect and made the stay so easy and delightful. The host's preparation of video's with instructions on how best to use the equipment and appliances are organized and thoughtful. While the location definitely requires a car, the availability of public transportation provided options to the combination of friends and family I had sharing this lovely vacation home. My compliments to the hosts on providing an idyllic setting for my dream trip!

This was a revisit from a stay years ago. Torre Pietro is so much better than before. What an improvement to the property by the longtime owners who speak English & Italian. Attention to details are not unnoticed. The villa, as well as the 13th century tower were comfortable, very clean, spacious and well appointed… fine bed linens, cappuccino maker, manicured grounds, heated pool, Wi-Fi & smart T.V. New bathrooms w/high-end fixtures, new A/C-heating units in the villa bedrooms & new hot water heaters made showers comfortably hot w/good pressure. What makes this property stand out above most is the 13th century tower that proudly sets on the piazza. The tower’s Juliette balcony view is spectacular. The tower has comfortable bedrooms, baths, pool table and media. The villa property is tucked away off the main road down a gravel drive. Love the privacy, but if you rent a car and you are not accustom to a manual transmission, I suggest renting an automatic. The kitchens are well appointed but… Cinzia, a local chef who caters to the villa did our cooking and picked up basics for the frig & bar. Grazie Cinzia! We loved dining al fresco under the Florentine rose laced arbor overlooking the tower and Tuscan hills. Torre Pietro is about a 20 minute scenic drive to Florence & close to the designer outlet Mall (Gucci, Valentino, Prada, etc...) The new pool, outdoor shower & numerous upgrades allowed us to appreciate the tranquility of the true Tuscan lifestyle. Can’t wait to return!

It was the ideal place after three days in Florence. Great place to unwind, reconnect, and eat and drink fabulous food and wine. Do not miss Cinzia’s cooking or heading out to a few of the smaller towns and villages. And a dip in the pool is sublime

From the start the Host Maurizio and Janet make sure everything is set for your trip to their because they want to make sure you love their place as much as they do. They both were so helpful with arranging help with their staff Cinza (chef) and Cosimo(driver), those two are a delight and super friendly. The Villa is like out of a picture book of perfection with no little detail missed, from the highest quality of linens and bedding. The grounds and pool are a great highlights as well. The pictures and memories that you will take and make from this Villa you will remember for a lifetime! Thanks again Janet and Maurizio for being such amazing hosts! Randy

Wonderful Tuscan vacation in all respects
The property was a perfect fit for our extended family of 13 people. Beautiful villa and gorgeous setting. Maurizio, the owner, initiated communications months in advance and responded quickly to all of our inquiries. He also arranged to have the kitchen stocked with our list of food items when we arrived.
The pool was well situated between the villa and the tower. Pratolino is just 25 minutes by car from central Florence, but it seems like a world away from the busy streets.
Cinzia, one of two caretakers, is an excellent chef and provide a fun cooking class for the whole group with items we had selected in advance.
One consideration. The tower, which 5 in our group used to sleep in, was not air-conditioned and was quite hot during our July stay. We suggest not using the tower for sleeping if you come in the hot summer months.
We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful villa in Tuscany
Our extended family of 9 had a wonderful time in this villa. There were plenty of rooms (including the tower) so each would have their own place to hide, and there was a big dinner room where we all would meet for meals. The location was approx 20-25 mins to Florence and it provided a good base where we could explore different cities within the region. Thank you Maurizio.

Charming villa and tower
We celebrated my daughters christening near Florence and spent 9 days in this charming villa. All of our guests were extremely impressed with the accommodations. The villa and the tower are beautiful and spacious, but the grounds of the property are breathtaking and exceeded all my expectations. Both Alessandra and Maurizio are very professional and easy to deal with. We will definitely return and recommend this villa to all of our friends!

Dream Vacation!
I had a wonderful stay at Torrepietro. The location is wonderful, near the gorgeous Villa Demidoff in Pratolino, and a short drive to Fiesole. It is also very easy to reach Florence: we often had dinner downtown and drove back after dinner. The Tower is beautiful and a lot of fun to stay there - I felt like a queen there. The Villa is also wonderful, with a large living room area, nice size kitchen and a big dining table in the dining room, for a very large party! The grounds are very well taken care of, and there are lots of nice places to stay during the day. We had breakfast in the Loggia, lunch in the terrace behind the Villa (or in the inside room the day it was rainy), sunbathed on the lawn, snacks and aperitifs with a glass of Prosecco under the gazebo watching the sun set!
It was a dream vacation. I will definitely come back soon!

Bellissima villa e ottima location

A good place
We have rented the all the property for a company of 4 families for the period of 8 days. The ancient tower was very romantic, the villa was also very attractive, thank you very much for the possibility of using the fire place there. The beds were very ccomfortable, ancient furniture added charm to the habitance, was very pleasant to find ourselves in the other time. The equipment of the kitchen in the villa was ok, they had everything besides the microvave that could be very useful for some moments. The heating was enough considering the weather.
As for the tower, the furniture was also comfortable but as about the kitchen: we had only the electric cooker working, the grill and oven were out of order and we didn't have time to find out how to connect them, I think, it would be great for the owners to get them working.
There was one more unpleasant thing in the tower: a lot of dead flyes on the window sills and on the flor of the upper flours that nobody took away before our arrival. Also, for the first day we didn't have hot water and on the next day when the boiler was repared, we wewe also left all the disorder after the works. As for the villa, everything was ok and clean.
Also, the entry to the property is not marked anyway, there is a very difficult entry to the road guiding to the property: just between the signs marking the turn of the main road, for the first time almost all scratched the bottom of the cars at the angle of two roads, if you go from the side of Pratolino and you need to turn left to get the property, it's better to go further to the fourth gate after the hotel Demidoff, turn back and drive to the entry to the right very carefully.
But, nevertheless, we had a great vacation in that wonderful place.
