Gezellig en kleinschalig hotel/appartement
Appartement waar alles voor handen was.
Zeer dicht bij alle wandelroutes
Gratis Parking

The staff was extremely helpful, the wellness facilities and the parking were excellent.
The wi-fi was patchy at best and the cleanliness could be a bit improved.

Very friendly staff, cute little house with everything you need for a short stay. Even our dog was welcome. Breakfast was great.
Wouldn't recommend it for a long stay but perfect for one or two nights!

Lovely apartment in the backyard just beside our car. Comfortable beds. Good Breakfast.
No open restaurants anywhere near! No information where to go to eat on sunday evening. A wafer selling Lady at the beach helped us to find one foodmarket, that was open. No information from the hotel nor about leaving the hotelroom at 10.00 o´clock!!! Due to it was an apartement hotel with cookwarw and dishes, glasses etc... NO kitchen towels, no washing-up liquid... How you suppose to wash your dishes??? Very unpolite cleaning ladies came in 10.15 and checking every dish in the kitchen cabinet in front of you... How insulting!

the swimming pool and spa area was nice
the swimming pool and spa area stated no under 3’s and no children in the jacuzzi there was a toddler in the jacuzzi … splashing we had to wait an hour for the family to get out the jacuzzi!
also we had to tidy and clean the apartment before we left or we was subject to a 55€ cleaning fee. obviously we would not of left it a bomb sight but we only stayed one night but our morning was spent ensuring the bed sheets was removed hoovering cleaning and ensuring radiators were off for our 10am check out! I mean give us more time but for nearly €200 euros I feel robbed because that wasn’t states in the terms and conditions before we checked in or on bookings! the beds where really uncomfortable and hard too we didn’t have a good nights sleep at all!

location
Over priced for the standard and quality of the apartment.
The adjoining walls were very thin, you could hear the loud conversations from next door. There was a strong damp smell from the bathroom. The tv worked intermittently.

Very friendly staff, spacious appartment as a family room, fine wellness facilities and a nice breakfast. Did I mention the friendly staff?
The beds were pretty tiny (I didn’t measure, but I guess 1.90 x 1.40) and the interior and furniture was a bit out dated

Very nice continental breakfast. There was a large variety of fresh bread, croissants etc, eggs, ham, cheese and many other delicious things.
Altho the room was large but you could smell the humidity. In the bathtoob there was a big humidity stain. The staff was not at all flexible as regards the check in and check out times.

Sadly I may have liked the pool but guests are not allowed access until 9.30am and it closes at 8pm. it’s only a small pool and hot tub so it really makes no sense to close it so early.
The ridiculous early checkout of 10am.
The level of degradation in the apartment we stayed; The floor was uneven, a large leak spot in the ceiling, the kitchen has a microwave which is situated at my eye level and I see clearly loads of dirt.
The security on the building regarding a door code to gain access and no one sitting at the reception desk. You have to ring a bell to get any help. It feel like pot luck.
This place has the feel of a husband and wife B&B (which it is) £130 for one nights stay in a run down one bed apartment is way overpriced. ordinarily I wouldn’t pay half that for a place like this.
The cleverly taken misleading pictures of the place. Looks nice in the pics but the reality is far removed.
Ok there’s a kitchen but you clean your own dishes and wipe it down before you leave.
Overall it needs much refurbishment and a drastic change inB&B policies.
OK it’s near a beach, which is close but behind the main road and a row of houses. In truth there’s very little in terms of other amenities nearby, such as bars, restaurants or cafes. Sadly not much the owners can do about that but I dispute that the beach is 20 meters away from the property.
I really hope this comments are actioned.

Excellent location, dog-friendly environment, lots of well-maintained walking path, local specialties at breakfast, super-friendly staff, various activities available on site for all weather, sauna is great anytime, strawberry farm in the neighborhood.

Proximity to the beach...fantastic. And dog friendly...awesome!
Perhaps not a 'proper' studio facilities with a kitchen....felt more like a hotel room.

Good location in Sangatte just 15 mins from the Channel Tunnel and 5 minutes walk to the beach. We stayed in a studio apartment with our small dog - it was functional and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK.
The bed was below the window and although there were curtains at the window, lights that were on outside streamed onto the pillows resulting in poor nights sleep. 160 euros for 1 night (once added in breakfast and dog)

The spa facilities are amazing.
We booked the apartments, they need a bit renovation.

Excellent location and very confortable, as well as very welcoming hosts!

The location is great. Very practical that you have a parking place. Within a few minutes you are at the beach by foot, you just have to cross the road. If you have a car you can drive to Cap-Blanc Nez and Cap-Gris Nez. It is so great there.
There were many dead insects in the apartment. For this reason we did not feel very comfortable spending much time indoors. The smell in the bathroom was unfortunately bad. The furniture were worn out...

We had a great welcome with the receptionist I remember from when I was little. He got excited that I still remembered the hotel and that I decided to come back.
The room was amazing, the breakfast was great and the spa facilities were absolute perfect.
If I had to make a remark, it would be that there is no mention of the covid safe pass to enter the spa facilities. The staff made no mention of it, but maybe it was because they knew we have one.

Lovely updated room and pool area.
Very friendly staff.
Room darkening shades.
Ample off street parking.
Very early checkout at 10 am. Wish I would have seen this before booking.
Early close of pool area.
Request on counter top from hotel to strip beds and empty all bins prior to 10 am departure. We get away to not work so hard. Perhaps a simple request to leave the rooms tidy would suffice. Also, with the very early checkout there isn’t time to strip beds and empty all bins. I would personally remove this advice to customers.
The hotel has tons of potential and the staff are truly lovely. With a couple small changes focused on customer comfort it could better meet the price point.

Loved the sight of the hotel getting smaller in my rear view mirror
At the end of our holiday we chose a more luxurious place to stay. We were willing to pay accordingly. But this was the biggest dissapointment I ever had with a booking!
The studio we got didn't look at all like the photo's. Not by a mile! Visible plumbing in the bathroom. And not even a bar of soap for us as guests. Wet cleaning supplies were still in the bathroom. Because, by the way, as guests you need to clean everything yourself or there will be a €35 addition to the price of the room. Of course we never intended to leave a mess, but to make us clean everything without notice up front is ridiculous. But back to the room: All the kitchen cabinets were crooked. The TV didn't work. There were black stains on the wall next to the bed. All kinds of different curtains and even a skylight without curtains, so we woke up during first light. When we discussed this with the owner he first said the photo's did look the same, then he said they looked better than the actual room because of the sun. Which is the lamest of excuses. Even more so because there is not one photo of our actual room on booking.com. So they made the conscious decision not to show the crappy room(s). Perfect strategy if you don't like recurring business....
He said there was only one option: paying for one night and listing us as a no show. But after talking to customer service of booking.com I understand it was perfectly possible to have changed our reservation on site. With the 'one and only' option (according to him) he ducked commission from booking.com and made us look bad whilst he is truly at fault.

The breakfast was okay. We just miss our fried eggs and bacon. 😉
