Experiência fantástica! A repetir!

Localização perto do centro da vila de Castelo de Vide mas retirado o suficiente para um total conforto, num local absolutamente tranquilo, acolhedor e em pleno contacto com a natureza. A D. Teresa e o Sr. Estevão são uns anfitriões de uma simpatia e atenção inexcedíveis, sempre procurando saber sobre o nosso bem-estar . Duas pessoas com as quais foi um gosto conversar e com dicas fantásticas sobre o que visitar por ali. Agradecimento também à D. Helena, muito simpática e atenciosa, sobretudo no pequeno almoço. Um pequeno almoço com produtos frescos, variados e de qualidade. A voltar para desvanecer as antecipadas saudades!

Tranquilidade e beleza

Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos proprietários, com instruções prévias de como chegar à Quinta que foram muito úteis. As comunicações com a Quinta das Lavandas, via Booking, foram fluidas e rápidas. A propriedade é ampla, tranquila e é possível caminhar por ela sem maiores dificuldades. O café da manhã é muito bom e o atendimento durante essa refeição nos agradou bastante. Os apartamentos são confortáveis e possuem jarra aquecedora de água, para fazer chá. As cores do pôr do sol são belíssimas nesta época. Havia indicações muito boas de restaurantes em Castelo de Vide, que é bem próxima da propriedade l.

Infelizmente, fui em uma época em que não havia muitas lavandas floridas, mas é uma questão pessoal. Segundo os proprietários, meados de julho é a melhor época para observar os campos de lavanda.

Uma pausa no tempo, tranquila.

A quinta é muito bonita e os espaços comuns assim como o nosso quarto (Rosmaninho) estão muito bem concebidos, decorados e agradavelmente perfumados. A localização é perfeita pois tanto podemos desfrutar da tranquilidade e sossego da quinta assim como facilmente visitar os muitos monumentos, museus e belas paisagens que abundam ao redor. As sugestões da D.Teresa e do Sr.Estevão, os muito simpáticos proprietários, são valiosas. O pequeno-almoço, da responsabilidade da também muito simpática D.Helena é excelente pelos serviço, pela diversidade e pela qualidade. Gostávamos de voltar em julho, quando as lavandas já floresceram.

Excelente desayuno y tranquilidad del entorno. Los dueños, Teresa y Esteban, muy amables y nos ayudaron en todo. La piscina es estupenda y las habitaciones tranquilas, espaciosas y limpias. Repetiremos seguro.

Very cosy, peaceful place to stay

The hotel and small guest house are very cosy, great views and sunsets. We stayed in the guest house and it was very nice. Beds were very comfy. AC worked perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook small breakfast and light dinner. Both host and owners of the property were extremely nice and hospitable and made us feel at home

When booking guest house it was mentioned grill among amenities and we booked property with this idea in mind. Unfortunetly it was not provided. This was a big minus for us. Second thing and this one is hard to control and no one can assure it, however I think it is important to let guests know upfront to avoid disappointments, as images provided on the website can be misleading. There is no lavender atm as it was all cut off due to plant maturity and droughts. Hotel is still a very nice place to stay at and enjoy the nature and countryside in the peacefulness. However, it was a little bit unsettling in the first 10 min upon the arrival. So it’s all about unmanaged expectations.

Wonderful Quinta with an exceptional host.

Teresa, the host, was exceptional ! She was very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. Loved her! The breakfast was very, very good. The pool was open and clean. The Quinta was beautiful and very inviting. Teresa also offered us a welcome drink. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The only downfall to this wonderful property was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms.

A place you don't want to leave

Quinta das Lavandas is a beautiful place, surrounded by nature and countryside trails perfect for walking or even running. The property itself is one of the most quiet, comfortable and beautiful rural places I've experienced in Portugal. The hosts Teresa and Estevão, and all the staff, were the most welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. And on top of all that the charming towns of Marvão and Castelo de Vide are just minutes away.

Theresa is a charming and generous host. Great room in a beautiful building in a heavenly setting. Peace and quiet and beauty. Lovely walks in the countryside from the Quinta. A short drive to Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Excellent breakfast. Outstanding!

Beautiful boutique hotel near Castelo de Vide

Beautiful boutique hotel in the peaceful countryside, a stone throw’s from the lovely historical towns of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Quiet, well appointed room with all the amenities and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was well appointed and we greatly appreciated the tip from the kind hosts. The property also has a lavender farm and we would love to come back in the spring when the plants are in bloom. Highly recommended!

Fabulous!!

Lavenders under a starry sky

The owners are fantastic, I could listen to Estevao’s stories about “gato botas” and the dogs forever! Teresa algo gave us a lot of recommendations of good places to go to and eat which were super valuable to us. The farm is huge, it’s an amazing spot to stargaze at night and go for walks during the day. Or just lounge by the pool reading. The breakfast was amazing, felt very homemade and was very tasty.

You absolutely need a car to go anywhere. I personally loved driving in the small roads leading to/from the farm, and the remoteness of it, but it may not be for everyone.
