Perfect space for our family of four. Close to Gatlinburg. Saw bears everyday around the cabin. Enjoyed the cabin experience.

Beautiful place and location. Definitely would stay again.

The inside of the house was great. Very clean. Outside needs to be power washed to get rid of cobwebs. Also, the deck needs a good washing and restaining.
Even though had issues with a few appliances, owner was great in getting them fixed.
The bedspread of one of the downstair bedrooms needs to be cleaned. Saw stains on it.
Also the bedspreads need to be thicker. Was cold at night.
Location was great, but a bit tricky to get up driveway since steep slope.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was on point from what the listing said. The view was beautiful and peaceful. We got to see a bears daily all around the cabin. Make sure your not like the neighbor and listen to them when they say keep your trash picked up and locked up. The bears will go around your vehicle as well. We absolutely loved it !

We loved the area! It was quiet (except for when the car alarms were going off because of the bears, lol), but close enough to town to be able to enjoy everything that Gatlinburg had to offer. Please remember to lock your cars! We were greeted by a mama bear and her cub within 45 minutes of us unpacking. She did actually open the car door and climbed in! Definitely a highlight of our trip since there was no damage done. We did encounter an issue with the dishwasher. Alan was quick to respond when we contacted him. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the property and it was perfectly suited for our family of 4. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very nice chalet located in the mountains with plenty of sightings of black bears. Pools were all a short drive away and all very nice. Also, conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay! Beds were a little uncomfortably but other than that it was nice! If you wanna see bears this is the place to stay they come around alot! Drive is kinda hard to get into! The pool was very nice!

Nice clean cabin, close to downtown Gatlinburg. Lots of bears in the area. Driveway was a little steep which made it challenging to park.. emergency brake kept engaging when trying to reverse up the hill. Each room had king size beds, which was great..could use a mattress topper to make a little softer. All in all…we had a great stay.

The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. We did have an issue accessing the door but this was resolved within minutes. Just as a side note, we did have a bear visitor try to get into the vehicle while we were addressing the door issue. I would recommend that you keep your car doors locked at all times.

The property was beautiful. We had some run in with ants from there still being food on the floor in the kitchen which was in hidden areas it took some hunting to find the food. Other than that it was amazing.

We only stayed for a short weekend, but it was everything as advertised and we even saw some bears! Spacious, peaceful, and completely relaxing.

This was our third time to Honey Bear, and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Gatlinburg. We love the comfortable house, the convenient location, the hot tub, the pool table, and the kitchen amenities. It’s perfect for our family!

We really enjoyed our stay. With three generations staying in one place it worked out great for everyone to have separate places to be while still being together. The view was spectacular! One suggestion would be to add two floor lamps in the living room to provide better lighting for reading at night. Wonderful vacation!

We had such a great time! The chalet was beautiful and offered wonderful views and accommodations for our trip. It had everything we needed and was close to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Our whole family loved it and we plan to return sometime soon!

Nice property. Respectably remodeled. Very close (3 min to the gate) to Ober Mountain for skiing. This was one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed in. No stray hairs laying around, no dust or hair in the corners. No dust, fingerprints or streaks on anything. Base boards were clean. Floors had no marks or streaks. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Good base pantry items. Owner is very responsive. The view from the front porch was great also!

Great stay cabin was perfect. Great weather Saturday and Sunday. Xmas day 70 mile winds, touch and go at times. Easy ride to downtown. Loft was perfect when folks wanted to do different things or watch different shows. Hot tub was perfect as well, chlorine holder could be replaced, kitchen was well stocked and screened in porch off kitchen was a nice little addition for kitchen. We also saw 4 black bears around our cars the last evening.

The property was great. Porch and hot tub were a hit. Place was clean, cozy and comfortable. Good to knows, It was not walking distance to town. If your car doesn’t do well up hills it will be challenging getting up the mountain.

Really enjoyed the cabin, great location and view of Mount LeConte.

Our family mountains trip was wonderful. Beautiful views and room for the whole family. We did see bears on the way to the chalet 3 nights, and we wanted to. The step roads and driveway were a bit worrisome for city drivers...but it is a mountain. Great place to stay

The cabin and its amenities were just what we needed after long, fun days in the Gatlinburg-Sevierville area. With a little fine-tuning, it could be perfect! As-is, it's the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern comfort. Would stay here again!

Had a wonderful time staying here with my parents and our kids. It was a great location to get anywhere in the area including downtown Gatlinburg, pigeon forge and the National Park for hiking. We also had amazing weather and saw lots of wildlife, including bears several days! Awesome stay making memories!

The property was very beautiful the view of the mountain was breathtaking ,lots of room for the 5 of us! The only thing i wished for was a tv in the bedrooms downstairs I do enjoy laying in bed watching a good movie! Didnt care for the road up and down at first , but once you knew the roads it was'nt so bad, slow and steady is a must! Alan was very helpful!

The property was as pictured and described. The detailed directions were very helpful. The owner was very attentive and quick to respond (door code didn’t work upon arrival) and the situation was resolved in less than 5 minutes. We had a family of 6 and there was more than enough room for everyone. The cabin was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly think to need.
The Honey Bear cabin name is perfect as we were visited by bears on multiple occasions during our visit. Overall it was a perfect trip in the perfect location.

We really loved the place and would stay again when in the area. Next time we will bring some trail cams to catch all the bears! We saw 3 different bears right from the porch. Great experience! House has everything needed and was extremely comfortable. In the fall, beware of falling acorns, though, because there are lots and they hurt! :)

Great trip. Everything was as expected.

The home had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and good location to the Smokies. Had a couple visits from some black bears which we enjoyed.

Great family friendly cabin. Was perfect for our family of 4 but could have accommodated more people comfortably. Cabin is close to all the activities we wanted to do and we saw bears every single day!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Everything was clean and we had no issues during our stay. We saw several bears each day which was pretty neat. They didn’t pay much attention to us and just went along on their way. Please lock your doors while unloading the car upon arrival. My brother did not lock his car while unloading and one opened the door and got inside within 2 min of being there. It took a bag of chips and ran off. We heard the neighbors yelling at one in their car was well. If you lock your doors you shouldn’t have any problems. The roads to the cabin are a little steep but slow and steady will get you there. The view of the mountains from the deck is great. Cabin location is great to downtown. Pool was also great for the little ones. We would stay again.

Honeybear is a lovely little chalet in the woods. Nicely kept, though some updates would enhance the experience: needs better/brighter/more lighting, and mattress in one BR is not great. True to it's name, a momma bear and 3 cubs visited two days in a row. Enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was VERY clean and well taken care of. We absolutely loved it. We had 3 teenagers with us and they loved the upstairs. They played a lot of pool up there. The pullout couch was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, everything you need was there. 3 king beds were great. The comforter and sheets were a little stiff but ok. The cabin was plenty large enough for 7 people. Nice property, not on a Cliff. Alan responded to messages promptly. The drive to the cabin wasn’t bad. Our other sister was on Luzerne st and it was a horrible drive up to her cabin. Ours wasn’t real steep and cars could pass each other easily. Would definitely come back to this cabin. Oh—- and the BEST part of it was you had bears everyday. One day we had bears 4 different times. We started to name them. They literally just roam the streets and they are not aggressive. They pretty much look at you and then go on about their business. Just make sure the garbage is secured in the garbage boxes and don’t feed them. Definitely a five star cabin.

Visited with my adult children and house worked well for us. Having three rooms all with king size beds is great. As others have commented the living room is too dark and really needs some better lighting. Also wished there had been some more comfortable seating on the deck. Metal chairs are practical but not comfortable for sitting in to relax. Finally wish there had been some more supplies. We were told that there was just starter supplies so should have known but did have to run out and buy toilet paper, garbage bags, and dish soap.

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable and charming. Got to see some bears. Close enough to town and Pigeon Forge without having to travel a long distance, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Great views. Thank you

Do not follow Siri’s directions to cabin. Took us on a small winding road . Was a very nice cabin and enjoyed the hot tub

We stayed at Honey Bear Chalet in early May and enjoyed our stay: comfortable beds; spotless throughout. All three of us are readers and were disappointed with the lighting. There was only an overhead light fixture between the living and dining rooms. The house truly needs a couple of floor lamps in the living room and higher wattage bulbs in the lamps upstairs. Overall, it was a lovely home close to downtown Gatlinburg (but away from the bustle) and the national park.
