I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming host in Cuenca. I highly reccomend and if ever in Cuence again, would be my first option.

I didn't take breakfast there except once and it was very good. The little cottage was comfortable with a large kitchen and a nice mattress. The bathroom was fine. Occasionally had hot water issues but they were very responsive. The location is feet from a lovely river and the walking path went by an ancient Inca village. The owners were very nice and helpful and even picked me up at the airport and took me to a doctor's appointment. Everyone was lovely.
The location was challenging in that there aren't trams or bus routes nearby. If you're in good shape you can walk to the center but I'm limited in my walking so I felt isolated sometimes. My Azutaxi app didn't work much of the time. If it works for you then you'll have no problems getting around. Or if you can walk two kilometers with some stairs, you'll be fine too.

Location is very good, near the pretty river walk and easy walk to historical centre, museums, restaurants etc. Wonderful hostess who went out of her way to help me. A warm family home and delicious breakfast.

From the moment I arrived at the property, I felt at home. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is modern with a shower that had really good water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was delicious and was a great way to try the local cuisine and fresh produce.
Sole and her family are very welcoming and wonderful hosts. They were very helpful and gave many great recommendations during my visit to Cuenca.
The location is pretty much a 10-15 minute walk to most of the museums and sites of the central historical district of Cuenca. The house is located on a quiet street just outside the main tourist area.
If I ever get a chance to return to Cuenca, I will be sure to book a room again at Casatodosantos.

Sole and Augustin are delightful hosts. We chose a double suite with a comfy bed and neat kitchen. The location is peaceful but without easy walk of the centre of Cuena. Sole's breakfasts are tasty and plentiful.

The room was a good size and clean. It had a good table with chairs. The bed was comfortable and had a lamp beside it. There was a big closet with shelves and lots of hangers. They also provide an electric kettle in the room with tea.
The breakfast was excellent with a good quantity of fruit; yogurt and granola on the side; juice or some kind of herbal infusion (which I thought was quite good even though I usually don't care for such beverages); coffee, tea, or hot chocolate; toast; eggs; and some other item that would vary from morning to morning.
This isn't something that bothered me when I was there, but the choice of a wooden countertop and fixtures in the bathroom will probably be a cause of regret in the future.

Always a welcoming place to stay, with nice touches all around. Good wifi, a hot shower, a working desk, super comfy beds, and the nicest of hosts. Close to the Centro, but by the river and quiet.

The room was a good size with many places to put clothing and a comfortable bed- it was actually more like a small apartment, since there was a full kitchen. There were beautiful gardens surrounding the main house and the separate rental units. However, the biggest plus were the wonderful people - Sole, her daughter Sofi, and the rest of the family were so friendly and kind and helpful. Feeling like I was being taken care of was just what I needed after a long and sometimes difficult 4 week trip through Peru and Ecuador. Sole provided wonderful breakfasts and dinners (for a small fee), greeted me warmly at the airport, and even walked me to get my mandatory covid test before returning to the US. She provided a map of Cuenca and suggestions on what to do, and helped make arrangements for a trip to Banos.
Nothing really.
It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair in the room.
The location is good for places along the river and the Pumapungo site - but you're not right in the historic center (or seemingly places to get food) when you step outside. Those aren't too far away, but there are many stairs or a big uphill climb.

You can stop searching, this is it! The host, Sole, is an amazing welcoming person, very helpful even in things that totally not related to her part of the deal (helped us with mailing a parcel). The room has a very tasteful design and the garden around it was beautiful and peaceful. The location is very good, it's 10 minutes away from the historic center, and the walk there is along the riverside promenade. Pumapungo museum is just aroun the corner. If you're traveling by car there is a safe parking, both outside and inside the gate. Overall, it's a calm and safe neighborhood. It also a short drive to the Cajas national park, Ingapirca, and some smaller villages which are great stops for lunch, arts and crafts shops etc.

My stay at Casatodosantos was just perfect. Everything: The location close to the river and also the historic center. And Sole, the absolutely wonderful host, who'll do anything she can to support her guests' stay. She's a true gem and makes you feel very welcome.
The apartment itself is spacious and the kitchen is equipped with almost everything you can wish for. As Cuenca can get cool, especially at nights, I was glad the owner provided a small heating device.

Probably the finest room I have ever stayed in. Huge, tons of storage. No view but close to the river and the
Center. Spotless. Beautiful kitchen - well stocked. Great breakfast (extra charge). Host (Sole) awesome!
The neighbor’s dog can be loud, but there is not too much the neighborhood can do about it.

We really enjoyed our two days stay at Casa Todosantos, Cuenca.
This property has perfect location, very safe and close to the Historical Center and other attractions.
Communication with the home owner was great and easy.
They gave us a lot of suggestions about local life and tips, including local COVID restrictions.
Thank you very much!
Nothing to say negative.

Property is lovely. Accommodations are modest but nice. Family is very warm and hospitable. No breakfast during pandemic. Not expected. We had a very adequate kitchen and made our own breakfast.
VERY close to groceries, dining, and easy walk to historic center.
Car repair shop behind property. Lots of noise during the day.

I used booking.com for my hotel reservation probably more than 90 % of the time. This review is my 81 hotel reviews. Each person has it’s own requirement. For me, hotel reviews, location, price and service are the most important things, along with cleanliness and no bugs ( like bedbugs, cockroach ).
I like this hotel because of Sole, her family ( Grandpa Julio, Sofi, Augustine, and small dog Luna ). They were all welcoming, warm , friendly, helpful, flexible, loving. Most of the hotels that I stayed I dealt with employees. They worked their shift and they go home. Some care about what they did and provided excellent service. Sole and her family own this mansion. She was passionate and compassionate. My previous experience was like this : Your name, your passport , a form to fill out and sometimes payment on the spot, then my room key . When I came to this casa, I didn’t have all that. I was treated more as friend then as a stranger who needed a room to stay. I was welcomed to their house and I was thankful that I was part of their lives for 4 short days ( I wish it was longer ) . During those 4 days I had an opportunity to talk in depth with Sole ( I told Sole and her family that I wanted to learn Spanish and Sole knows Spanish and English well and spoke to me in Spanish..🙂 ) , her husband Augustine, her daughter Sofi, abuelo Julio and I played with her small dog Luna. It was a rich and wonderful experience for me to interact with them. Every morning Sole made her wonderful breakfast And we chatted. She offered excellent suggestion. I did all her suggestions and I was glad that I did. A sign on the back of the door in my room said Sole offers lunch and/or dinner at a reasonable price and I did. At first I thought it won’t be too much trouble for Sole to make a bit more food since she cooks meals for her family anyway. I didn’t realize in Ecuador , their dinner time was earlier. I had mine at 7 pm so I ate alone and talked to her family. I loved Sole’s food.
None. I liked everything.
I ran out of space in they What did I like section so I continue here .
It was tasty and nutritious. I don’t generally eat a big dinner and the portion was just right. Others things are :
The location was excellent. Clean and no bugs. The garden was beautiful and wished I had spent a bit of time there. The room huge with a big bathroom. It was almost like an apartment without kitchen. Outside the room in another room was a jug of filtered water and I can have coffee, tea and hot drinking water.. The internet connection was very good. The bed was comfortable. The room lighting was good. There isn’t that I didn’t like there.
This family own, family casa is the best that I ever stayed in because of Sole, her family and Luna. Thank you. I will definitely come back to Cuenca and stay with Sole and her family again.
