About this villa rental
The villa, 5 minutes' stroll from the village, is at 800 feet, and overlooks the Mediterranean to the front, vineyards and the Troodos Mountains to the left. It is comprised of two bedrooms on the ground floor, and there is also a large family bathroom. The upstairs consists of a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, with table and six chairs, and sitting area, with two sofas and a large armchair, large coffee table and other furniture. There is a TV with full Internetaccess and channels for all nationalities. And music centre. Patio doors lead to the very large balcony (12 foot x 8 foot) that has an electric blind overhead to provide shade, and a table and six chairs with cushions. A Honda VRC car with air-con is included free of charge. This represents a saving of £100 to £240 per week, depending on the time of year. if on service no other car is provided.The large communal pool with shady pergola is close by. Outside "diningroom" under wineladen pergola with a large Weber gasolgrill

We couldn't have asked for more. The villa was beautiful and a big shout out to Phil and Anne for their hospitality; they picked us up from the airport, kindly picked up some supplies for when we arrived in the evening, took us to the wedding and returned us safely and in comfort back to Paphos for our journey home. They were so welcoming and their knowledge of the area was such a help.
The kitchen cupboards and sink could perhaps do with a freshen up; new cloths, perhaps some room fragrance/diffusers would be nice, but other than that, it was a wonderful short stay, thank you.

A home from home
Loved staying here - we felt very comfortable, loved the balcony with the views, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfy, quiet neighbourhood, having a car was brilliant, and we even made use of the golf clubs one day. Bodil was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We would love to come again when the weather is warmer.

The owner of the villa is very reliable and promtly returns any requests or messages. The villa has a very nice view to the ocean from the living room and balcony. Several interesting sightseeings can be easily achieved by car. We recommend this villa.

A Warm Winter Stay - very comfortable king-size bed, quiet location, excellent vehicle
My partner and I stayed for more than 3 weeks from mid-January and found it to be a very comfortable and quiet place, and the roomy 4wd vehicle was excellent for exploring the nearby hills and feeling confident to drive on some of the unpaved roads and tracks to find the out-of-the-way spots. There are plenty of ways to heat the place, and all the windows and doors have bug screens for when you can and want to open them for fresh air. The living room is comfortable and set up well for hanging out to chat, view the TV screen or read, and the kitchen has whatever you need to cook any meals. It’s a corner unit with citrus trees and nice potted plants, and several options for dining al fresco in the shade. The king-size bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. There were some problems with the water supply from the village but local caretakers Tim and Rita were easy to communicate with for info and solving some problems. Easy walk to the village for restaurant meals or supplies from the village store (which carries the best whole-grain bread made by the local bakery), easy parking in a private compound, friendly and helpful neighbours. On the B road below the village the Papantoniou Supermarket, a gas station, and delicious breakfast or lunch spots are only a 5 min drive away. I was sad to leave our temporary home and I’d definitely stay here again when we return in a year or two.

A little piece of heaven
Lemon Tree House is a beautiful, private retreat that is situated in a very central location for people who want to explore the island. We had no trouble finding the villa and had good communication with the owners in advance and throughout our stay. Check in was seamless and we were delighted to walk into the spotless villa.
The upstairs kitchen and living room has a lovely sunny balcony with a wonderful view. It is a great place for al fresco dining. We were visiting in December and during the evenings we enjoyed the propane stove, which made the villa very cozy indeed.
The master bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the room opens onto a sunny patio under the lemon tree that is pictured in the photo. The little village was fun to explore and we enjoyed some lovely walks. We would highly recommend Lemon Tree House to future travellers.

Terrific homeaway from home
We absolutely loved our stay at Bodil’s lovely home. Her caretaker Tim was the best! It was great to have a place that felt like home. And the air in the bedroom was a lifesaver. Everything you may need the house had. A bonus was squeak. Very verbal and friendly.
The car was great to have use of. It wasn’t as bad on petrol as previously mentioned.
We look forward to returning to lemontree.

Delightful House with Lovely Views!
We have recently returned from a fortnight's holiday staying in Bodil's Lemon Tree House in Pissouri. Her house has all the amenities you need from a well-stocked kitchen, to TV, DVD player and mini hifi. As you will see, the main living accommodation is on the 1st floor so as to take advantage of the views towards Pissouri Bay which, when there's no haze, is beautiful! The ground floor has two bedrooms (a large double and a twin) and a bathroom. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning! There is an electric awning too to provide some shade.
Communication with Bodil is nothing but excellent and is supported locally by Tim the caretaker should he be required.
Pissouri is a lovely village whose centre is only a 10min walk from the house. There are a number of good restaurants & bars here and we sampled 3: O'Vrakas, The Bunch of Grapes and (our favourite), the Hideaway. The village is ideally located just off the main A6 motorway and is roughly midway between Paphos and Lemossos. The Troodos mountains are within easy reach and Nicosia is about a 1.5 hours drive away. Pissouri Bay is 2 miles down the road and there is a good beach along with a couple more restaurants and some shops. There is a small convenience store in Pissouri village, but there is a very good supermarket back down on the main road and appears to stay open late - even on a Sunday.
Overall, a wonderful property in an excellent location!

Well equipped house with use of car
Lemon Tree Cottage was a delight and the air conditioning was a Godsend. There are lovely views from the balcony. Warm and good sized pool with comfortable sun-loungers (would be great if there was a lavatory at the pool but you can't have everything). Amazing to have use of the car so we could explore the beaches and countryside. Very convenient short stroll to the great restaurants in the village (our favourite being the 'Bunch of Grapes'). We saw Fleetwood Bac at the ampitheatre which was fun. Bodil was extremely helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends and family.

Perfect for our needs
The property is situated on the edge of, but very close to, the delightful Pissouri village and enjoys amazing views from the balcony. It is within easy driving distance of many lovely places to visit. It is beautifully clean, comfortable and well cared for and Tim the caretaker is most helpful and friendly. We chose to use the car which worked well for us. We would not hesitate to return.

A Lovely place to Stay!
We really enjoyed our week at LemonTree house. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The villa is located on the edge of the attractive village of Pissouri, but only a 10 minute walk to all facilities. It's in a quiet area with friendly neighbours and lovely distant sea views from the balcony. About a 30 minute drive from Paphos airport with Paphos, Limasol and the Troodos region easily reached by car. All of our travel arrangements were very efficiently handled by the owner, Bodil . Tim the caretaker, was very helpful, provided airport transfers and is available locally for any support. I'm very happy to recommend you stay!

Pleasant and relaxing home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bodil's house in Pissouri. The house was exceptionally clean and inviting. It was well equipped and we enjoyed using the kitchen and making our own meals. Breakfast on the balcony at sunrise was a sheer delight and the smell of orange blossom quite intoxicatingly relaxing!
Pissouri is a gem of a village, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. The village bars and restaurants were excellent. The beach was within easy reach as was Paphos and the interesting archeological museum.

Comfortabel and well equipped, good A/C!
Very well equipped villa with all you need for a sunshine holiday. Good A/C which is a must for us as feel the heat but also love the sun!! Garden really lovely with ripening citrus fruit and lots of places to sit outside although the best place is the balcony with great daytime and night views. An added extra was ex-pat TV which we used after a hard day at the beach and supper out in one of the may really good restaurants a short walk (uphill in places) to the town.
Unit contains everything you would need if you wanted to self cater although we only really did breakfast there. Beach towels provided which was a nice extra and also use of car was great with Tim collecting us and taking us back to airport. Rather nice as we could have a drink in the plane coming out. Would recommend as very good value, well located and clearly a well loved holiday home.

A lovely private villa with some downside for older guests
We enjoyed our stay but was disappointed to find the bathroom was situated on the ground floor not upstairs and the shower was incorporated in the bath which had very few hand holds, and was not conducive to those with age disabilities.
The ability to use the owners free car was excellent and considered essential as the walk to the village tends to be up hill and not ideal in temperatures of 39 degress in summer.
Overall a very relaxing holiday in comfortable surrounds.

We have just returned from our holiday at Lemon Trees.
What a truly lovely surprise.It is the first time we have booked a holiday through owners direct.and will definitely be returning.The Villa was very well equiped in deed.a very comfortable bed stunning views Ex pat TV.A Car to use within the package which was an exceptional bonus.We were collected and returned to the Airport by Tim the caretaker who was extremely helpful on more than a couple of occasions.( thanks Tim we appreciated that.) This was a last minute booking are expectations were low the reality was high.Thank you Bodil and Tim.

The house has all the amenities you want when on holiday - a real home from home. The use of the owners car was a real advantage. Tim, the caretaker was brilliant. All round excellent experience.

Lovely villa with good views and village location
This is a lovely villa well fitted out and within walking distance of the village. It has a good upstairs balcony with views over the bay which we used all the time. The use of the car was a bonus allowing us to visit various beaches and historical sites within the local area. The village is very traditional with plenty of restaurants which we enjoyed every evening.
The owner was very helpful during the booking process, her local villa managers in Cyprus were also helpful and provided airport transfers.
I would recommend this villa to anyone wishing a quieter holiday away from the tourist crowds.

Home away from home.....
A lovely clean well maintained villa with all you need to enjoy your stay...
We very much enjoyed the balcony to sit and relax in the glorious sunshine and enjoy the distant views whilst eating breakfast, equipped with electric awning for shade if required.. The TV has full internet access and channels for all nationalities to enjoy... The beds are very comfortable and rooms are equipped with air conditioning or fans which where very quiet when in use, we fell into a peaceful sleep every night.. This Villa felt very welcoming not like staying at somebody's home but more like invited to stay at a friends home.. True to its name lemons were growing on the tree's outside, offering that fresh lemon slice to add to your favourite tipple or making fresh lemonade as we did.. The villa sits in a very quiet and peaceful location.
Assets - The collection service from the airport and departure takes the stress away from the end of your flight to the comfort of your accommodation, It was a pleasure to meet Tim a lovely man and it was nice to chat to him and gain some local knowledge with him ( Thank you Tim).
The use of the family car was a true asset to go off and explore the local beaches and countryside. (you do need to drive to the beach approx 10 mins away by car).
Don't pack to much ( we did) full washing machine and drying facilities.
Pissouri Village-This was small and friendly with a large choice of restaurants and kebab shops to enjoy.
In the Villa there are a large selection of maps and books to brows to make your planning easier for your next adventure.We enjoyed trips to Paphos to the ruins and up into the Troodos mountains with its beautiful views... We very much enjoyed finding out so much about Cyprus history, some of which is a true eye opener and has very much left its mark on the landscape to the present day. We have enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future....

A great find!
We have just returned from a week staying in Lemontree. The villa exceeded our expectations: it is a well maintained property, with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable, a real home from home.
Breakfast on the sunny balcony was such a treat after our cold winter, with the view of the sea directly to the front and the Troodos mountains to the left.
The villa would be great in the winter too as it has a very effective gas fire which quickly warms the sitting room.
The use of the car is a bonus and the service offered by Tim, the caretaker, of transfers to and from the airport we found very useful and reliable. Pissouri village and Pissouri Bay have several tavernas and restaurants offering all types of food. However the villa has everything needed for self-catering.
We had great service from the owner of the villa and it was beautifully clean thanks to Rita the other caretaker.
We hope to be able to return to Lemontree in the future.

We have had three long winter holidays at this villa and, each time, have found it a home from home. It is well equipped, with a very comfortable bed (most important!) and living area, stunning views and fantastic outside space (we've had several barbeques/parties there). The car is spacious, economical and easy to drive. The position of the villa is ideal as it is within walking distance of the village with its many good restaurants (we especially like O'Vrakas), but is quiet with no traffic noise to speak of - bliss! Oh, and it's VERY clean (Rita & Tim do a great job). Overall, staying here has been a pleasure and we'd highly recommend it.

Very well appointed house with living room and kitchen upstairs. Good position to walk in to Pissouri village (no noise from the restaurants there) or visit the private pool a couple of hundred yards away. Very hot while we were there but balcony loses sun in afternoon and has fantastic views. Pool was not busy. Lots of books and some DVDs to watch as well as UK TV if that is what you want. Various beach mats, snorkels and umbrellas also available. Beach about 6 minutes drive away, and plenty more a little further. Recommended, unless you can't carry shopping upstairs very easily! Very helpful on-site rep and deposit returned promptly after holiday.

everything you could ever want for a holiday is here for you, even the car is included in the price & you can be picked up/dropped off at the airport.
we had a fantastic 2 weeks & will have no hesitation in booking again.
