Comfortable, cosy stay in Hermanus

The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. Marc was a great host and showed us all we needed to know upon arrival.

Exceptional

Marc is a great host, the room is very spacious with so much attention to detail. If you're visiting in winter, the logburner and the very nicely hot shower will cosy you up in Hermanus winds.

Fantastic accommodation in central Hermanus.

Beautifully designed interior, central location, secure parking, the friendly host and the log burner with plentiful logs as we stayed in winter and it was pretty cold.

The cold bathroom! We had load-shedding which did not help.

Enjoyable, great location

Breakfast was not available but there are plenty of coffee shops within a short walk. The facilities were fine for a short stay and for longer stays, I would suggest you book Fishermans Cottage which offers the best accommodation. The bonus was the host Marc, extremely helpful and friendly. The location is good within a 5-minute walk you are in the hub of Hermanus. Take a short trip to Grotto beach and enjoy lunch there

There was nothing to dislike, there is an element of overlooking in the courtyard which could affect privacy

brilliant location. spotless. beautifully furnished. spacious. comfortable. lovely bathrooms. very helpful host.

no aircon. fine for now but can imagine it may be uncomfortable in the height of summer.

Very good

Clean and well equipped. Located within walking distance of everything you need. Friendly and helpful manager.

Off-site parking on the street for the first night. The pool is really very small.

Hermanus break

Perfect location and accommodation in Hermanus. Marc was an excellent and most helpful host; nothing was too much trouble for him from our arrival to our departure. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped - ideal for our break. Thanks Marc, great to meet you, and we hope to return one day! 🐳

A must stay for your trip to Hermanus!

This is a phenomenal base from which to explore Hermanus and the wider local. Marc was incredibly helpful and is a wealth of experience on all things Hermanus! The accomodation was immaculate and so cosy. I would love to return in winter and light up the stove after a days whale watching. Absolutely a must for your stay in Hermanus!

The room was really nice, cousy, clean and comfortable. Good shower and bathroom. Location is pretty good too. I do recommend the place!

Lovely cottages in a great location,

Lovely, well equipped cottages in the centre of Hermanus. Central but very quiet in walking distance to the sea. Individually furnished, complimentary coffee and milk and great tips from the owner for restaurants nearby (Burgundy and Chards).

Very comfortable, good location, value for money

Lovely comfortable, very large room. We particularly liked that it felt like a whole apartment with ample sitting space. Many places only provides a 2 seater but here it felt like a proper home where you can relax with 2 large sofas, a desk, large wardrobe kitchenette etc. The room decoration was quirky arty, which we really loved. The location was great with just a short walk to many excellent restaurants and to the ocean, where we saw a huge amount of wales, just below the cliffs… magical. Our host Marc was very available by phone and visited the property daily to see if we needed anything. His knowledge of the area and what to do was superior, and he gave us so much advise of off-the-beaten- track stuff to do. We spent 4 days in Hermanus and think we could have stayed much longer. We will definitely visit Vishuis again. A bit longer next time.

Excellent cosy property in superb location

Great location, and the owner Marc was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and styled in a homely and welcoming way. Secure facility too. We will certain visit again if in Hermanus!

Love this place!

Wow! Everything about this place is amazing. I love the clean look and beautiful furnishings and art. Super quiet at night and the beds are amazingly comfy. There is a lovely coffee shop juts across the road on the corner. Everything is close by. I will definitely be back :-)

Thankyou for a very comfortable stay in a nice bright colourful, funfull decorated apartment.

The Location was very good. We could walk to town and the beachfront. The decor of the apartment is so colourful and the size of the apartment very comfortable. The bathroom and shower also very nice size. We will definitely make use of it again.
