Very well situated hotel. My family and I had 2 rooms so one had a large balcony looking over water. Would definitely stay another time and recommend this hotel.
We wanted to buy a t-shirt the staff were waiting but unfortunately they did not have any available. Boxing gloves in african fabric on a black shirt. Loved it.

It had a small and very authentic feel. It was very clean and comfortable.
Our room had a sewage smell in the second day, otherwise it was great.
7.0
Cute hotel with character and good location.
Would stay again.
Unfortunately the other reviews claiming the breakfast was horrid are very true.
Not only was the offering scant, it seemed the ham was rotting or very close to going bad.

Nice Hotel in the old town of St. Louis, with excellent Restaurant and excellent breakfast. Excellent service
The small streets around can be quite noisy, even in the night, and the windows are not well isolated.

Great Location, beautiful design, great spot for pictures, a nice blend between African and western culture, a nice restaurant, special mention to Malick from Breakfast Team, he was nice and available all the time. Overall, the staff and management was available and open to remarks.
They don’t have hand showers in the restrooms, cleanliness of one of our restrooms was not perfect, it is a little bit noisy in the night, there is no TV, the breakfast could be improved (yoghurt, apple sauce, real orange juice (freshly squeezed or bottled), more variety of bread, more variety of teas, beef sausages, etc…).

Breakfast average
Good coffee
Very basic rooms. Cheap shoddy furnishings.
TERRIBLE PILLOWS
Owner didn’t have professional attitude
Everything seemed geared towards his own personal profit

The location, the staff esp Malick who was so ever helpful! most things are a walking distance. There is a nice view of the bridge

We came for 4 nights and stayed 10 !!! That says it all. The location, the room, the bed, the restaurant, the cocktails, the lounge overlooking the river, the staff... Highly recommended.

Quality
Cleanliness of room wifi poor
Everything need updating

Breakfast could be improved. A taste of local foods could be incorporated eg an abundance of fruits should be offered for breakfast

The hotel was great in every way. The Location, room and restaurant were all excellent. One of the girls at reception was particularly wonderful ( Silvia) who helped us with a couple of issues we needed to resolve. Fortunately she spoke really good Spanish and was able to translate for us. She even helped us via telephone during her time off. Thank you so much Silvia!

The hotel is charming in its colonial design, the food is very good, and the staff got friendlier with each day I stayed there.
It is right on the river and provides excellent views of Faidherbe Bridge (Senegal's answer to the Golden Gate Bridge)!
The place was quiet, and they had a pleasant reading/ sun room on the terrace.
The place is not secure: the room doors are quite old and easy to break into, they don't provide in-room safes, and they don't have a safe deposit box. This can be problematic if you don't want to tote your valuables with you when you go out.
The electricity constantly goes out (fortunately, for no more than a couple seconds at a time, but goes out all the time), and the wifi is spotty at best.

This hotel is fantastic. I loved everything.

St Louis is charming.
My booking included a balcony. There was none. And if there was one you only look out to a wall. There are only two rooms that have a view of the water. Not clear in the booking app. After I arrived TWO door handles fell off. In the morning there was no water for a shower. Each day was a hit and miss for water. The staff tried to respond.

Great location and a nice little hotel with cultural touches
the shower was terrible, sometimes no water at all
9.0
it was great
we got a double bed even though it said queen but that was manageable
7.0
The bed is uncomfortable. It’s hard and the sheets are not full and soft.
7.0
great location, clean
the breakfast was very underwhelming, just fruit and bread. I was very shocked when I went to dinner to order appetizers and got canned sardines with olive oil drizzled over it and frozen shrimp instead of fresh. Being so close to the water this was unacceptable.

the dinner was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable
The breakfast wasn’t very good and most of it had run out before we came down

Siki is a good hotel in Senegali standards. The staff is friendly and helpful, one receptionish spoke English, which is rare in Senegal. The hotel has style, nice view to the Senegal river, good restaurant.
Maintenance could be better, door lock is very difficult to work. Walls are made of paper so it was very difficult to sleep. Restaurant chairs are awfully uncomfortable, but I guess it is a senegali thing.
