Great staff and nice view

Calm and charming accomodation in lake Bunyonyi. I would recommend it for anyone visiting this incredible spot in south Uganda.
Thanks to the whole staff for taking care of us and specially to Robert for driving us safely back to Entenbe!

The food was incredible and as was the lovely manager.
Our toilet didn't work when we arrived which was disappointing. Also, the hotel website describes a private swimming beach when actually it was merely a small couch next to where the boats dock. This description should be altered so that guests dont have too high expectations.

The location is paradise and the staff is as friendly and accommodating as can be! The rooms were bigger and nicer than we expected. The location is a bit far to reach on a difficult road to drive, but the privacy and beauty of the place is what we loved about it. Nice to be able to rent a canoe for free and row around the lake on our own. It is a romantic spot, and also seemed fun for families on holiday as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The food was hit or miss, and the activities seemed a bit overpriced, especially the boat ride to the main port, though this is expected of a private resort which is challenging to reach without a boat. On the way back, we negotiated a fair price with local boatmen. Know that there will be an added 5% to use a credit card at checkout, in addition to the final price listed through Booking.

The serene view of the lake from my room and the lounge area was beautiful and was a highlight of my stay. The huge comfortable bed was also a big plus.
The WiFi was limited to the reception area and sometimes went off but that's about it and not a big deal. I was still able to get some work done.

The view on the lake is great, beautiful setting. The rooms are very nice and also have nice views. It’s possible to book lake tours trough the resort.
The road leading to the resort is in bad condition and requires 4wd when it’s rain season. The restaurant is very basic and it takes forever to get served. The place could use some refreshments and it’s not possible to pay with VISA card. Everything considered, it’s an overpriced option at the lake.

It is a beautiful place to stay in and everybody is really nice and happy.
We had a misunderstanding with the booking and was asked to pay more money. It was raining a lot one evening so we couldn’t go back to our hotel so we had to stay at another hotel and pay for two hotels that night. If you are the owner and find out about this it’s really up to you to compensate and not try to charge more money. We even got to pay around 8dollars(2 times) to take a little boat back to the hotel cause we couldn’t drive all the way because of the rain.
So we payed 275 dollars for two rooms that we couldn’t use. I’m really disappointed in the behavior.
And feel like they should compensate us.
Again not the managers fault but the owner!
