Breakfast was amazing. Location was tranquil and beautiful. Exceptionally clean and friendly
This is a very small establishment. Which was great but maybe some lighter food options and bar menu would be useful as you are a car ride from Noto.

The location, the food, the people/staff -particularly helpful to help our trips out as I am disabled- and the facilities.
The air-conditioning was not very effective, so our room was rather hot.

Dreamy oasis of tranquility. Close to town but secluded so you really feel like you're a world away.

Surroundings were beautiful and the facilities were clean and well taken care of.
The food was very overpriced and not great. The remote location meant that there were no other options to eat.

Everything at Battimandorlo is so gracefully well thought out. The staff is warm and welcoming and takes care of you since the first minute, while also leaving you enough space during the stay without ever making you feeling "abandoned". The structure in general offers amazing interiors, with a combination of renovated architecture, reclaimed furniture and contemporary art pieces; the architect really struck a perfect balance.
Very appreciated the number of books and the common areas where guests could linger on as they pleased.
The pool was just a jewel, well-proportioned for a relais of this size, well detailed from an architectural point of view and perfectly complemented by olive trees naturally shading the sunbeds.
Lastly the food experience: we had been lucky to have perfect weather to enjoy the outdoor dining for dinner and for breakfast, and the food was always top level, from the ingredient to the presentation to the care with which the staff served and guided us. If you like gourmet cuisine and good wine (and liquors) you will be delighted.
I didn't spend any word yet about our room, the number 5. Simply outstanding in its simplicity: the bathtub near the window was so relaxing, and the terrace just offered an unbeatable experience of the valley around us. Amenities offered were of high quality and in good amount, great bathing products from Ortigia and exquisite interior design elements throughout.
We plan to come back here time and time again.

The breakfast was delicious, loads of options and all tasty. My wife especially loved the homemade almond milk. Staff were super helpful and really made you feel at home. The rooms were large and well appointed. The pool is terrific.

I liked everything with this hotel. The building, the garden and the view is outstanding. The room was very modern and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The pool is very clean and nice, one of the best hotel pools I have ever tried.
The breakfast is extremely nice with freshly baked croissants and coffee with the most delicious taste. Also the breakfast is a la carte with a lot of options.
The staff is so nice and helpful. They even hold up the doors for you when you enter or exit the building.
This is a truly luxurious hotel with a price that is low considered to what you get.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool and stunning views!
For the hotel this far away from the city (15 mins by car) and at this price point, we expected to have more options in terms of food. For lunch, the restaurant is closed on mondays and you can order only from 1pm-2pm on other days. For dinner food is really good but there is no flexibility if you want something simpler. In general, very focused on the food being high end, not focused on serving every need of the hotel guests.

Beautiful place inside and out, stylish decor, amazing food, and an infinity pool all made for a very relaxing and indulgent final 24 hours in Sicily.
Nothing in particular

Beautiful location with excellent breakfast and very friendly staff
The only thing I didnt like was the water of the pool which was not clean enough in my eyes. Other than that all good

The setting and the pool . Close to Noto.
Service at dinner was odd. Too much time was spent on the origins of ingredients & drinks at the detriment of basic needs of customers. We waited a thirsty 15 mins with our unmixed drinks in sight but out of bounds, whilst other diners were subjected to lengthy descriptions. This continued with food and wine. Other diners (5 tables) were observed becoming impatient too.
For a restaurant that obviously took great pride in its food etc, it’s a shame they then forgot the pre advised food allergies. Would have been excellent if they had been a little more aware.

It is the most peaceful, relaxing well thought out hotel. The staff are friendly and polity, the room was beautiful and the food was delicious. the pool and garden are idyllic and the view is extremely special, we didn’t want to leave

Beautiful location, overlooking olive groves and agricultural land and many wild flowers. Good swimming pool with ample seating. Pretty dining area with large picture window to overlook the scenery. Fine dining on offer. Lovely staff.
Garden maintenance with noisy leaf blowers disturbed our time outside. We had to ask for the noisy activity to stop.

the location is really beautiful and peaceful. the building and staff do everything to accomodate you. the restaurant is a culinary delight
the restaurant with kitchen and dining room are quite close to the hotel rooms which causes there to be quite somr noise. during the day when they prepare and during the night when there are guests.

Battimondorlo is heavenly: surrounded by rolling hills of citrus, date and olive trees, with a gorgeous pool, terrace, charming restaurant and reception areas with interesting modern art throughout. Our comfortable room had everything you could possibly want but our favourite part was the huge outdoor terrace with the views of the countryside. We had lunch and dinner there on our first day and the experience was incredible - hyper-local ingredients, professional and friendly service, and the food was beyond delicious. The choices for breakfast varied each morning but always included an organic juice, home-baked bread and pastries and savoury selections. The creamiest cappucino that I have ever tasted. We always had to order a second one, so we could enjoy on the sunny terrace, being entertained by the local rooster, hen and cat. All of the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and valued.
If you didn't have a car, the location would pose some challenges, as it is a 10-15 minute drive from Noto. The kitchen isn't open on Mondays, so you need to make other plans for lunch and dinner if your stay includes that day (we completely understand that the chef and his team need at least one day off). Breakfast was available every day.

Sound carries throughout the building and it is very noisy. There is nothing they can really do to change this. It is a poorly designed building for sound.

The location just outside Noto, set in an olive grove was perfect; the infinity pool and sun beds, very appealing after a day's sight-seeing.The owners, Piero & Elaine have taken a lot of trouble in getting every detail right. Understated chic and spectacular, original food cooked by an accomplished team. Noemi was very attentive and helpful. Ask to try her honey!
We originally booked in 2019 and only got to Battimandorlo this year as a result of Covid restrictions. Hurrah!
I cannot fault the place, although might possibly have liked a few more "straight-forward" options on the menu. I appreciate that we could have gone out for that!!

The location is insanely beautiful and the hotel, very stylish and gorgeous.
Sadly, the kitchen and kitchen staff were so passionate about what they were doing but the food looked adventurous and didn’t quite deliver on taste.

Breakfasts were wonderful. There was always something different every morning - freshly baked and delicious. The evening meals were outstanding. The location, the rooms, everything was superb. We loved the fact that it was a small hotel where we could relax and not be constantly bothered by staff offering drinks or anything. If we wanted anything we only had to ask, but there was no obtrusive pestering. The hosts were always a quiet presence ensuring that their high standards were constantly maintained. The only negative thing was that we had to leave!
Absolutely nothing.
