I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this beautiful B&B. From the moment we arrived to the final moments

On first impressions from the road, Village Knights is a typical very unassuming traditional Maltese property. Walk through the front entrance and you are greeted with one of the most endearing and beautiful properties of Malta. Simon and Elvira have created a haven of historic and traditional features blended with modern comfort to ensure that their guests have a wonderful cultural yet luxurious experience.

We didn’t dislike anything about the property at all. As in any town or village in Malta it appears parking can be a bit of a challenge late at night. But we always found somewhere within a 200m radius of the accommodation and more often than not, immediately outside.

Nestled in the heart of Malta, the Village Knights B&B was a joyous discovery on our global travels. Our hosts, Simon and Elvira, elevated our four-night stay with their heartfelt hospitality, attentive service, and delightful chats. The central location offered easy access to island expeditions, while maintaining a tranquil haven for rest. Our mornings began with serene breakfasts next to the pool in a secluded garden, setting a relaxed tone for the day. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and peaceful, overlooking the pool. Tastefully chosen furnishings added to the charm of this century-old establishment. Not to forget, the owners' cat, Whiskey, brought an extra layer of joy to our stay with her warm greetings. The Village Knights combines an idyllic location, superior rooms, and unparalleled warmth from its hosts to offer a truly memorable Maltese experience. Highly recommended for any traveler seeking an authentically hospitable stay.

Beautiful place to relax

A traditional Maltese house, lovingly restored by the owners, tastefully decorated & offering a peaceful place to relax after a few busy days in Valletta. Lovely pool area & a great setting for breakfast. Wonderful hospitablity from our hosts Simon & Elvira - thank you!

A hidden Gem inside the lovely old town of Zebbug - A perfect stay!

This B&B is heaven on earth! I was surprised as it was better than our expectations ^_^ We were welcome like if returning home, by the adorable owners, Simon and Elvira. They were wonderful and helpful all along our stay, with great discussions and tips about the island. They are vegan friendly and can help providing milk alternative for breakfast and coffee, for example. You can tell they have big heart and ethical values. Breakfast was very filling, with fresh fruits, pastries, some Maltese specialties and local products, good bread, jam, great coffee and tea, and for those who eat it, meat, eggs, butter and cheese. The decoration is precious, authentic, and of amazing taste. Simon and Elvira did an incredible work to renovate a 400 years old Maltese house. Ask them to tell you the story of the house, it's very interesting :) The swimming pool and outside area are really relaxing and well maintained. Our host take care of every little detail and are very present to help you if anything is needed. The city of Zebbug is lovely and you can enjoy it and discover it by foot, the B&B being less than 10 minutes walk from the cute little center of town. There are also great restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and some shops less than 10minutes walk. It's a perfect location as it is in the center of the island ; you will never drive too long to go anywhere! We rented a car and we were very happy (and driving super slowly) to have chosen to do like that, it was great to be able to drive around the island and discover some very nice areas easily. We didn't had problem with parking, but we were off-season.

Honestly, we enjoyed everything and were charmed by this lovely B&B !

Exceptional

The owners Elvira and Simon are a lovely and kind couple, really charming, smiling, welcoming and available. They provided us a lot of advices to visit the island ans gave us some documentation. They answered quickly when we had a problem on the room. The breakfast was really good, in a lovely garden. The hotel is beautiful, charming and well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommand this B&B to everyone who's looking for calm and warm welcome.

Beautiful house, perfect hosts and an amazing find for a perfect holiday.

Beautiful place to stay! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and traditional. Our room was lovely and clean, the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and all very fresh.

Exceptional

Elvira, Simon and Michael are amazing hosts and were so kind to share with us the backstory of this marvelous house. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. The room was spacious, cozy and the beds very comfortable. I don't know if it was because of the sturdy thick walls but I slept like a baby. We would love to visit again!

There is nothing more to wish for. We had a great time.

A great place with fantastic hosts

Simon and Elvira are absolutely great hosts! They also supported us with perfect hints and recommendations. We loved our stay at their beautiful place, which is conveniently located (it is also accessible by public transport). The room, the bed, the breakfast, the pool, … - everything was perfect :) Thank you!

Not that relaxing stay, lot of unexpected surprises

The swimming pool The house, the decoration, it's very cozy and atypical The room was big, clean and well decorated Breakfast was good with plenty of options with some local food

There were ants in the bathroom when we first entered our room, which got fixed, this was our first day. We got a cockroach on the second and last night, and nothing was done, we had to sleep with it (obviously we never fell asleep) It was supposed to be a relaxing stay but with the two points above, it was quite stressful It was our most expensive hotel/guesthouse in our trip (we stayed in 6 different places in Malta), and the most disappointing considering the two first points If you don't have a car, then the location is quite bad, nothing to do really in Zebbug The bed/mattress was quite hard We didn't get any refund even partially from the ants/cockroach visitors Overall even without the ants/cockroach surprises, we have had much better places to stay for a better price

Lovely farmhouse in a quaint little city with a private pool

Elvira is a super host! The place was super clean, and quiet. Good breakfast buffet with many varieties. Very good location to reach nearby attractions like the Blue Grotto or Hagar Qim.

Good location if you travel by car. Couple minute walk to center to eat some supper. Place itself is quiet. Nice pool.

Need to find some parking place for car around the place. Nevertheless, it was not big problem.

Beautiful B&B with lovely pool area

The B&B is in walking distance from the center in a nice old building. We had a very nice, clean room and bathroom. There’s a buffet breakfast: yoghurt, fruit, musli, cheese and meat platter, selection of bread, boiled egg, croissants, Maltees pastry, orange juice, tea, coffee,… The lady of the house was very friendly. On our arrival she gave us a fine welcome and explanation on our stay as well on the must-sees in Malta and recommendations on restaurants. On our last day we also had a lovely talk about the restoration of the house and living in Malta in general. You can ask anything, she will try to help. We could stay in the pool area when checking-out. There’s a ‘public’ bathroom available so was convenient when waiting for our flight. The pool is really fantastic. It’s very close to Mdina by car, really worth a visit.

No parking available. The mattress was rather hard for me to sleep on. A steep stair to the bedrooms so not ideal if you’re not mobile.

Excellent!

Elvira and Simon have a beautiful house. The garden and pool are very quiet and peaceful. The house is located perfectly to explore the island. There are also a couple of good restaurants at walking distance.

There was a lot of choice for the breakfast and it was all made very fresh. Elvira was so nice to make us a small breakfast to bring along if we had to go out early and we couldn't make it to breakfast.

Awesome B&B run by a kind family

A very kind and helpful host with lots of knowledge about Malta. Beautiful garden with a large pool and comfy sunbeds to relax. Great location for sightseeing around Malta. Nicely decorated room, good bed and shower. (we had the room with the smaller semi-circle balcony) Amazing breakfast with lots of different food options. Even though it's relatively close to the airport, the plane noise is not troublesome and depending on the wind, you cant even hear it at all.

This is an amazing B&B and it was honestly my favourite of my trip. If I had to nitpick, I guess the sliding doors towards the rooms don't hold a ton of noise coming from the house, so you're kind of dependent on the other guests being a bit considerate in the hallway. In our case, this was absolutely fine.

We had a wonderful stay at Village Knights, therefore we can highly recommend this beautiful location. Our hosts Elvira and Simon are very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Village Knights has a very private and special atmosphere. The room: very cosy Pool: clean and refreshing Breakfast: delicious with local specialities Hosts: wonderful and all tipps/recommendations were very helpful - thanks to Elvira for her advices Transportation: bus stop close - but Bolt was a very good alternative Overall: we could not have felt more welcome and loved the hospitality Thank you Elvira and Simon

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Malta

Our hosts Simon and Elvira made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our week long stay where they made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The room was very comfortable and clean with a nice view over the pool. it was great to have use of a kitchen / living area for when we wanted to eat in and we enjoyed sitting around the pool on our last sunny day. We hired a car and there was plenty of space to park on the roads nearby (by Peridot Hall) just a 2 min walk from the property and Haz-Zebbug was ideally located for exploring the whole island of Malta. The town itself is pretty and quiet with a couple of good restaurants we enjoyed.

Beautiful Place

At our arrival, Elvira and Simon gave us a very warm welcome that made us feel immediately at home. Their restored 400 year old property is very charming, spacious and clean, with a pool in a cosy garden. The breakfast is of high quality, with a lot variety and fresh local products; a perfect start into the day. We got a lot of informations to have a great stay. Malta is offering an incredible concentration of culture and You can enjoy a lot of natural places and interisting towns, above all Valetta. There are also some nice beaches with crystal clear water. We did appreciate that this B&B is very good located to reach the highlights of Malta and Gozo. We highly recommend this loction! Thanks a lot to Elvira and Simon for their Great hospitality. We surly will come back!
