Loved the cabin. It sits on a hill with nothing to see but nature in all directions. Deer in the yard every morning and evening. If you are wanting to just get away from it all you could just chill on the deck or in the hot tub the entire time. We liked exploring the nearby creek and playing pool by the bar downstairs. Plenty of room for our fur babies to run and play. There were a lot of carpenter bees at the cabin. They don’t sting but the dogs wanted to eat them. Cindy was a great host and quickly responded to any issues or questions we had.

My husband, myself, and our 17 year old twin daughters stayed for a week at this beautiful cabin. We had an amazing time and truly enjoyed the peace abd serenity of the mountains! Cindy was very easy to keep in contact with and even brought her Goldens over on our last day to meet us!

Perfect "cabin" and property for our 8 family members and two dogs for a week-long vacation. Cooper's Cabin was impeccably clean and comfortable with amenities the three generation-family enjoyed: cookout at wood burning fire pit, sunsets by propane fire pit, hot tub, pool tournament, wonderful expansive private grounds for dogs and kids to play. This property is well situated for exploring nearby sites and hiking. Lots of wonderful family memories were made at Cooper's Cabin.

Cooper's cabin did not disappoint. Beautiful Cabin, well decorated and clean. Perfect for six of us to hangout especially downstairs at the bar playing pool. Quiet and peaceful. Nothing but star's, fireflies and the surrounding mountains. Cindy was the perfect host. Great communication with her throughout the whole process. Probably even more beautiful in the fall. Will definitely stay again.

The cabin is beautiful and sits by itself on top of a hill. The views from the cabin are amazing. You're also just a very short drive from some local restaurants and stores. The attractions at Natural Bridge are about 20 minutes away so a very easy commute. Buchanan VA is a beautiful little town and very peaceful. My family and I loved our stay and will visit again someday. Cindy made everything very easy with the check-in, check-out process and was a wonderful host.

We enjoyed the size and location of the property. We used it as a base to hike the Appalachian Trail. We were very comfortable there. The host Cindy, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thanks for everything!

We had the most memorable stay! The house was very spacious, beautiful inside & out, and clean. We had everything we needed. Cindy was quick to respond & very sweet. We enjoyed all the amenities. We were there to celebrate our son’s college graduation from VMI, he is now a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and couldn’t be more proud! We would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay in Cooper's Cabin; the mountain and valley views were breathtaking from this well-maintained cabin nestled on the top of a manicured rolling hill. The cabin itself did not disappoint: extremely clean and well appointed multi-level rooms and family areas. The balcony is the perfect place to take in the mountain views during the day and unrestricted starry nights (i.e., no light bleed over to obscure the heavens).

Cooper's Cabin provides our family the perfect place to gather! Our host communicated with us everything we needed to know. The location was quiet and peaceful, but within short distance to Breweries and the Virginia Safari Park! First time fishing moments at Cooper's Creek and watching shooting stars from the deck at night priceless!

A beautiful, well appointed cabin with gorgeous views and tons of amenities. We enjoyed walking to the creek and meeting the owners dogs, as well as hanging by the fire and playing in the game room. The hosts have thought of everything. 10/10 .

We had an amazing stay at Coopers Cabin! The cabin and setting were absolutely beautiful! We got to visit with the host and her four legged babies. The cabin was clean and inviting and a vacation get away I would highly recommend. Lots of living space to enjoy making family memories!! We will definitely be back.

This place was perfect for 4 couples. 360 panoramic view of the mountains, hot tub, great kitchen, fireplace, comfortable beds, so relaxing. Great communication with the host . We did not want to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin...beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. Communication with hostess was great and she went above and beyond by mailing us a left behind item. The views were picturesque and we loved sitting on the deck watching the stars at night.

Cindy's place was PERFECT for our group. Her place was well decorated, clean, comfortable and cozy, and so inviting. The house has a beautiful view of the mountains and has a ton of privacy. Cindy was so thoughtful and communicative with us. She even greeted us with a bottle of wine and a sweet card for our friend getting married. Any bad reviews you see on here are not a true reflection of Cooper's Cabin.

Cabin was spacious, clean (except a few dead spiders) the property was private with lovely views.The beds were not comfortable for any of 6 adults in our family. Two members left a day early after not being able to sleep comfortably the first 2 nights. The uncomfortable bed & the huge wolf spider she saw crawling up the shower curtain was it. Yes it’s nature, stink bugs, lady bugs, but no one should worry about sleeping with spiders. Beds seem worn with a foam topper added making them feel soft and lumpy. The full beds were really small for 2 adults and not comfortable kept rolling to middle. Not enough furniture for 6 of us we wanted to stream a fall horror movie so 2 people ended up in the floor. Fine for kids maybe but not for adults. Board games downstairs, but no table. it was enough to eat dinner on benches couldn’t sit there for games. Mismatched mugs Several were coated inside with nasty dark stains dried grounds; pretty gross, AND There is no regular toaster!! Hot tub towels were worn some with holes The kitchen linens need going through, worn dirty oven mitts & dish towels/cloth with holes. The VrBO listed amenities shampoo & soaps. No shampoo Had to text the owner to start dishwasher, She said you have to really hit it HARD to close. I couldn’t. The pilot lite off on fireplace & the hassle it would have taken to use the fireplace didn’t seem worth it, so we passed. Decor too much clutter, couldn’t sit anything down without moving something

Great find for a group of 6 mountain bikers looking to session Carvin's Cove. Spacious accommodations with 4 private rooms and enough to sleep 6 comfortably with two on couches. Modern hot tub was a necessity after long rides in the Cove. Hot tub and deck both face the Blue Ridge adding to the cabin's setting. The owner was very responsive to our group's needs. Loved staying here near my family in Roanoke and we had a lot of fun up there with the kids and my brother's family. It was close enough to everything we wanted to to do and I would recommend it in later fall when the leaves are changing like October rather than September but the mountains are still beautiful no matter what time of year.

What a beautiful property! We visited with our family of four and my sister's family of four. The views are lovely and the landscaping is so tidy. The house has plenty of room for privacy and great gathering spaces. The kitchen is very well appointed for cooking at home and the grill was hooked up and ready with propane as well. We had dinner out on the porch and enjoyed the amazing views. Both the teens/tweens and adults loved hanging out downstairs -- did some lifting on the bench, played plenty of pool, made popcorn, played on the arcade game, and had a rowdy foozball game. The dogs loved running around on the property! Cindy is so thoughtful and had things on hand for the doggie visitors too! (bowls, mat, treats, toys, etc.) During our weekend stay we visited the Safari Park and Panther Falls, both 10/10 experiences, and then came home to sit in the hot tub and warm up after the cold water at the falls. So relaxing! After dinner we made a fire in the firepit outside and had smores for dessert. There is SO much more to do in the nearby area that we just didn't have time for this weekend. We would love to come back and enjoy the creek next time as well as some of the attractions nearby like the caverns and hanging out in the cute little downtown area of Buchanan! The worst part about staying at this property was having to leave! :) Cindy was a very attentive and thoughtful host and our family would be more than happy to stay at her property again!

We had the most wonderful time at Cooper’s Cabin! The home was absolutely beautiful and the views of the mountains were spectacular no matter which way you looked! Our family had the most relaxing and peaceful week enjoying time together, playing games, evening football games, exploring down by the creek, enjoying the hot tub, rocking on the porch with our morning coffee and staring at the most amazing star filled sky at night! We loved the pool table downstairs and got so excited every time we spotted a deer! Cindy was the most wonderful host and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable! We loved every time we would drive up to the house as her beautiful pups would run to us and visit for a little bit! My grandkids didn’t want to leave! Thank you for such an amazing dream vacation!!!

No words can describe the time we had! Out in the hills of Virginia, but close to a fun city. The views were simply incredible. Outstanding service from our host. A trip our family will surely remember. Something I will definitely recommend to others. They had 2 golden retrievers that greeted us! Everyone should take a chance at coopers cabin. This was a great location for our 6 days in the Valley. Being based halfway between Roanoke and Lexington enabled us to access many activities focused on the kiddos. The creek below the cabin was a huge hit for our group. Everything at the cabin was clean, and there were many options to relax outside. Cindy was always available for questions and/or assistance. Definitely recommend this property.

This cabin is a beautiful, scenic, well-maintained property nestled in the foothills. It was a great place for our family to stay for our wedding weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would have loved to spend even more time if we hadn't had a major family event going on. Cindy is an excellent host and we loved her two friendly Goldens retrievers who greeted us every time we returned to the property. I highly recommend this cabin; it's convenient to Roanoke and lots of fun activities in the area.

Cooper’s Cabin is a hidden gem with the best views, the best hosts, with all the comforts of home (but way more fun)! The downstairs tiki bar and pool table was great family fun each night! And the funny thing is, we have a pool table at home, but never play :)
