Fabulous stay in Ghent, great city, superb apartment.

Wow, more than excellent! We had a fabulous time and Ria was an outstanding host. The accomodation was brilliantly situated just a few minutes walk from the centre and was in a very quiet area - we slept very well. The accomodation was very clean and well equipped and spacous. It was warm enough and relaxing. Ria was an excellent communicator, and we always felt that if we needed anything she would always help. I really cannot recommend highly enough - hope to return!

Geweldige plek in Gent!

Dit is echt een heel fijn appartement! Schoon en netjes, super goede locatie, fijne bedden, comfortabele bank, mooie badkamer met regendouche, prima keuken met grote koelkast en goede oven en meer dan genoeg ruimte!

Het terras is op de begane grond en wordt gedeeld met de andere 4 appartementen.

Un agréable séjour passé à Gand où nous avons été accueilli parfaitement par Ria et son mari, plein de bons conseils pour notre week-end gantois et son festival des lumières 🙂

We hebben enorm genoten van het verblijf en van Gent!

Ria en Tom zijn super vriendelijk, waren bij aankomst aanwezig en hebben ons alvast wat tips gegeven om heerlijk te gaan eten. De kamers waren top! Ze waren nog niet helemaal klaar met verbouwen, maar het was nu al geweldig. Het wordt dus alleen nog maar beter! Je moet zelf je ontbijt verzorgen, maar er zat een uitgebreide keuken in ons appartement dus dat ging prima!

Eigenlijk niets, maar als ik iets moet bedenken zouden dat de trappen kunnen zijn. Als je slecht ter been bent kunnen de trappen en de afstand tot het centrum wellicht lastig zijn. Maar één van onze kamers lag op de begane grond, dus was voor ons geen probleem.

Eine ideale Wohnung um Gent zu geniessen

Ria ist eine äußerst freundliche, umsichtige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin mit guten Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Gent. Die Wohnung liegt ideal zentrumsnah und doch ruhig. Sie ist geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Uns fehlte es an garnichts. Das breite Bett im Schlafzimmer ist hervorragend bequem und garantiert einen erholsamen Schlaf. Diese hervorragende Unterkunft hat sehr dazu beigetragen, unseren Besuch in der absolut sehenswerten Stadt Gent unvergesslich zu machen. Danke Ria! Demnächst werden unsere Kinder diese Unterkunft genießen.

Nur das Wetter hätte besser sein können.

Recomendable y para repetir sin duda

La comodidad del apartamento. Cercanía al centro. Muy práctico. Muy limpio todo. Cómodas todas las estancias. Zona muy tranquila y silenciosa. La anfitriona de 10, nos recibió para darnos indicaciones, atenta en todo momento. El detalle de la bebida de bienvenida se agradece mucho.

Tolle neu renovierte Altbauwohnung im Herzen Gents

Sehr nette, flexible und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Wohnung ist so, wie beschrieben und auch auf den Bildern für die Wohnung zu sehen, die man ausgewählt hat. Diese Wohnung hatte nun keine Küche, sondern eine kleine Ecke im Wohnzimmer mit Wasserkocher, Nespresso Kapselmaschine und einem kleinen Kühlschrank. Geschirr und Besteck sind auch vorhanden, so dass man die Möglichkeit hat, ein Essen in der Wohnung einzunehmen. Alles sieht sehr neu, hochwertig und gepflegt aus. Die Wohnung liegt ca. 7 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt, perfekt für einen kurzen Urlaub.

Een heel fijn bezoek gehad aan Gent mede door dit fijne verblijf.

Knusse kamer waar het heerlijk stil was en een eigen privé tuintje! Er stond ook een boek klaar met restaurants die de eigenaren aanraden wat heel handig was. De eigenaren waren overigens ook goed bereikbaar.

Er zat geen ontbijt bij en we hadden de kamer een beetje groter verwacht.

Superb apartment close to the centre of Ghent and run by lovely hosts.

No breakfast(which was fine by me), but there was plenty of coffee and a few free drinks in the fridge. . I liked the way I was met by the hosts. They were really nice and very helpful, regarding places to eat and drink; directions into town; facilities in the apartment....very comprehensive. The bed was comfortable,the apartment clean, the shower warm...and plenty of cooking facilities if needed. Totally satisfied and recommended.

Fabulous place!

Well, what can I say? Ria and Tom's place is absolutely stunning! Not only was the room beautifully done up, it was also spotlessly, or should I say, squeaky clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The photos do no justice, reality looks better. Tom and Ria were a very sweet couple, ever helpful in providing us with information on Ghent and helping us with our luggage up the stairs. Really appreciate it and also appreciate the ride to the train station that Tom gave us since it was a public holiday. Thanks Ria and Tom. We will definitely recommend your place to anyone visiting Ghent.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the world.

Very friendly hosts and lots of nice touches within the accommodation, a lot of effort made to provide informative information such as places to eat, drink and things to do, we tried some of them and weren't disappointed. The place was extremely clean and the spacious bedroom had a really comfortable bed.

the kitchenette needs to be repositioned, to make it easier to use. A sliding door on the main bedroom would be ideal.

Excellent accommodation - would definitely recommend

Lovely studio flat with private garden. Beautifully furnished, very clean, and the owner explained everything on our arrival. It was very well placed for all the sight-seeing in the city in a quiet street.

Luckily we found out the day before arrival that foreign cars, apart from Belgian and Dutch, need to be registered because the property is in a low emissions zone. This needs to be added to their listing.
