Exceptional

The property was set in a beautiful location and the pool was lovely. The rooms were nice and spacious and cleaned every day. The owner was absolutely lovely, really kind and caring. Would definitely go back.

A gem in Skiathos, not to miss!!

This property is a gem! We had the best time there!! Looking back at the facilities, it is: 1. Very clean (room got cleaned on a daily basis and sheets changed regularly), 2. Private, still easily accessible by car or on foot. 3. The view was amazing and you could enjoy every time the pool and jacuzzi. 4. Staff very friendly and brought us coffee capsules each day (a must for a coffee addict like me), and they were always there to help you in every way possible. 5. Both Andrew and Mimosa are great, very welcoming and nice to talk to. - Bonus point, as I person that travels a lot, I was so happy to find a place allowing pets and fulfilling my expectations. If we’re ever back in Skiathos, Margi House is the only place we’ll stay.

Peaceful stay

Host Andreo was very helpful and kind. Arranged us scooter by calling them and getting delivered to hotel instead of us going to to pickup. Everything went well.

Exceptional

We have just spent a week in Skiathos, our first visit to the island. After arriving in the dark of night, we awoke to the most breathtaking view of Kolios Bay from our balcony. Margi House is in such a peaceful and serene location with restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. There is also a little supermarket and a bus stop at the bottom of the hill. Our room was cleaned daily, there was constant hot water, a well equipped kitchen with everything needed for our stay, a beautiful pool, hot tub and garden area which was all very well maintained. Kolios is the most picturesque location and Margi House far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing break and truly look forward to visiting again. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating, we cannot thank them enough for our fantastic stay!

Great service from owner and very clean, could be a good choice if you know what to expect!

The host was wonderful, it's all very clean and central placement good for exploring, however at the top of an extremely steep hill which is not for the fainthearted! You need to be fit or have a car. Ample free parking. Children would not like the climb and the outdoor space though clean is not good for children. We liked the cafes and bars nearby. The supermarket nearby has a very limited selection of food, barely any fresh vegetables and no fresh meat or fish so self catering here would not work for a family. No bar, no vending machines so everything in needs buying and carrying . The tavernas are close and lovely. It's ideal for a quite holiday beach based and we went to loads of different beaches from the bus stop at the end of the drive.

The Kitchen area has a fridge and sink and two electric rings. It's got no space to cook, no oven, no microwave and little equipment. Frying breakfast, making toast, boiling pasta is the limit. It's not self catering. Walking is challenging with no path on the busy road so take care and we took a torch. No resort to stroll around but Skiathos Town by bus is 15 minutes. The pool was clean but the spa was always covered, the beds were clean and plentiful, to be honest the beaches are wonderful and close so pool not necessary.

The road to the hotel is very steep and narrow not an easy road to drive! Slso I would prefer if there was a coffee machine in the room!

It was perfect for me, had everything I needed. Room was clean, pool was really nice and just outside my room so easy access. There were always sun loungers free so it was never too busy. Had restaurants and beaches close by with a short walk.

Excellent place with lovely view to the pool and sea, clean spacious rooms in boho style with attention to the details. Few beaches in a walking distance. Enjoyed my stay at Margi house, the owner was very nice and hospitable. Definetly will come again!
