The Kaoba has been totally renovated. The former owner sold the hotel to some people who now really care about the facilities and the service. The difference is very noticeable. The rooms are now cleaner, total change of the rooms, the bathrooms and the pool area. The staff very attentive and also renovated. And the same price continues. I will definitely be back.

great location
when you enter the reception the first since you notice it’s a strong stench of dogs, just unbearable. The owner’s got like 5 dogs (very smelly) just hanging in the lobby. I always hurried to my room every time I had to pass reception.

The humidity in the room was intense, dangerous to breath

Small bungalow right next to the pool. Great location close to the beach. Great price in comparison. Would go again
Lobby is very smelly (dogs) and it’s not the cleanest place overall. It’s great that the owner looks after the injured dogs, though. The bungalow was clean, however, so this was fine for me. Sometimes the reception is not staffed, so the owner needs to be contacted via WhatsApp, if you need anything.

Hygiene. Ouch. The bedlinnen was used before. A lot of ants in the room. And dirty. Really dirty everything.

A little expensive. Also....there ws no security at night.

Quite big room with a lovely view from the balcony on a river. Overall it was clean and the room also had a kitchen area with basic equipment.
There are some dogs running around the property but they are all calm, very sweet and not bothering the guests.
Service was a little bit chaotic. We had to wait for hours to get the key card to our room as the manager doesn’t seem to be around that much.
To overcome the waiting time, the room key cards and the general access cards are just left at the reception and therefore accessible to everyone entering the hotel which gave us a little bit of a security concern.

Good location. Room was in back so fairly quiet. Balcony overlooking river and nature. Nice pool. Good staff.
The manager or owner was apparently a true dog lover as there were about 8-9 dogs around. Unfortunately some were older so the lobby smelled like a kennel. Not a good first impression.

Good location
Its very simple and a bit worn out and they have a weird smell of a wet dogs there, but what was especially strange was the guy at the desk and he had a huge issue with me arriving after 20 pm (I had no other chance because I came from the west coast from whale watching and they dont time their schedule according to hotels), which hadnt been an issue on its own, because everything worked - they had left me key at the reception and it all worked out, but he seemed to be very annoyed by that. Suggestion: not to create a problem where there is none.

Spacious and a good bed.
Worth the money.
We managed to park our car at opposite of the road.
A warm shower would be nice but is not really necessary.
The dog-smell isn't a bonus.
This room had a shared balcony with one neighboring room, quite surprising when sleeping with the balcony door open for a fresh breeze and the neighbor lights a sigaret outside.
Some could be happy with a surprise visit I can imagine.

The garden and swimming pool are amazing, the room has everything I need, location is great, good price.. Also, you can bring your pet with you :) They're helping animals at the place, so don't be surprised to see many friendly dogs living here. So good that someone took care of them :)

the location
when we entered the lobby, there was about 8-10 handicap or rescued dogs. Very bad dog smell in the lobby area, like and unclean dog Kennel. And my first impression was to leave, but it was late. And in the restaurant area their were lose dogs running around, very nasty. I would never eat there.

Good locatoin.... close to the beach and restavration...
When I entered in the hotel- the area where is reception, there was
unbearable smell after wet dog.
The receptor was dressed in dark shirt which was full of dogs hairs and this making them very disproportionate and unclean for the work in reception. I have nothing against the fact that the host likes help dogs, but this it is not appropriate for dogs to be staying in the reception. At check-in the receptionist was very unkind when I checked the confirmation and the method of payment on the phone, he told me that if I want I can go and he will charge me cancellation fees ... I told him I don't want to cancel, just asking him for a little more patience. The bungalow we were staying it was not clean ... the smell of damp and unventilated, the bedding I'm not sure if they were clean ... had a bad smell ... there was only cold water in the shower ... when we said that at the reception , they told us ... no sun, no hot water... at night, when everything calms down, you can hear frogs barking near the pool all night ...
we will not come back in this hotel...

Basic hotel right in town.
Our bathroom kept getting water in the floor, don't know from where. Checked the taps and pipes but didn't find anything. However it was always wet. The bed linen not sure if were completely clean. Found hairs in the pillows linens
