Worst Villa I have been to.

Absolutely nothing to like about this place except the beach front view of a room which they are so brilliantly marketing. Dont get deceived by the pics. I dont think Booking.com does any checking on these places.

Staff are basically beach boys with zero service. Ignorant bunch. Entire place is badly maintained and very unclean from furniture to beds to swimming pool. One room AC did not work and it took them the entire day to repair it. Fans and lights dont work as well.

Could have looked for much better options with better amenities for this price.

They didn't have power backup. Caretaker chlorine isn't added to the pool since it's expensive. No hot water on day two. There was a very loud pool party hosted by the owners at the hotel which disturbed our sleep in late night hours. And we almost missed our bus because the staff blocked our cab from leaving since they couldn't find the ac remote.

Superb

Nice accommodation right on the beach, just outside the city. Unusually, they asked for payment in advance, but this was quickly explained and we paid the agreed amount only at the end. The facility is in a modern style with a swimming pool, but both are showing the ravages of time. However, it did not limit us in any way. Willing and helpful staff. I just don't understand why the welcome drink and fresh juice were salty...

Brilliant no bad things to say

Location was brilliant and staff were great, friendly and helpful. Especially Sanju was excellent and very supportive during our stay he helped us with all of our travel needs. We will definitely come back and stay. Two friends working at the hotel also very polite and helpful.

The staff and owner were very nice and kind. The view was beautiful.

The property is very run down and the bathroom was the worst we had in three weeks in Sri Lanka. It is hugely over priced for what you get.

Pleasant stay

What we loved most about this hotel was the amazing view from our superior sea view room. The room has ceiling to floor windows on two sides. So the view is breathtaking. The room was large and very clean. Very good king size bed. Nice bathroom. Good AC and internet. We also apprecisted the warm and friendly staff who did all they could to make feel welcome and look after us. Breakfast was basic with no choice offered but the omelet was very tasty. We were able to have two tasty meals in the hotel. Special compliments for their delicious devel chicken. We asked for something a little late one night and the kitchen was, closed but they very kindly made us a complimentary snack. Nice clean quite big swimming pool. Just five minutes down the beach there are nice beach restaurants.

Unfortunately the property is really in need of upgrading as it looks neglected. The garden needs care as at present it's not very beautiful at all. Could be so lovely with a lot more plants. The other big problem is that many of the facilities advertised simply are not there. For example no television in the room and no minibar. And no choice for the breakfast. It would have been nice to have chairs and a table on the balcony and also a kettle in the bedroom. We loved the sea view so much that we overlooked these missing things. Really hope the owner of the hotel can make the needed adjustments so that in the future this hotel will be really great.

The view from the rooms was unique. And access to the beach was very easy. The rooms were also clean, but the design of the rooms and corridors could be better The hotel staff was very hospitable.

The public spaces of the building needed to be repaired. It was a good hotel overall, but the strong point was its location and it was a little expensive, regardless of the view and the beach.

Dual impression

For my wife and me stay at this apartment left a dual impression. On the one hand, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help (Sanju, Suraj and others). On the other hand, the constant need to contact them due to interruptions in hot water. Additionally, thanks to the inexpressible energy of my wife, we managed to get a kettle, cups and glasses for use. Why not equipped in advance?

The owner of the villa appears to be super-economical. With minimal investment, he could ensure a normal descent to the beach and arrange the area behind the pool (clear of stones and with shaded zone). TV cannels consisting of the only one paid children's program (channel 52) is a nonsense. We booked a room no.3 but there was a strange attempt to settle us at room no. 4 (not suitable for living)
