Beautiful location! Quiet part of the island, better for a relaxing trip or family trip. The buffet had many options, although it was the same everyday.
Everything seems to be geared for children. All the activities are for children. There is no night club like most resorts have. If you are looking for a family vacation this is for you. But if you don’t want to be surround by kids constantly, avoid.
Also, they have an annoying system where you need to purchase chips to exchange for the plastic cups used for drinks at bars. If you don’t have the chips they won’t even give you water. Also beware of dress code required for the buffet.

Absolut grandiose Lage! Sehr schöne Anlage. Toller Zen-Pool.

Beds were not really comfortable🙃

We stayed in sea view apartments so the views were spectacular. staff were extremely friendly. food was good. Entertainment team was also great. loved the kids and adults shows in the evening. Great treatments at the SPA also.

Everything was lovely.
The food was delicious and there was a huge variety of everything.
The whole place was clean and spotless.
The staff was very warm and friendly.
The view is something to remember.
They could add cold coffee to their menu that is nice to enjoy when the weather gets really. Like the popular freddo cappuccino that they serve in Greece.
One mattress felt a little old and curvy.

Lots of facilities for children
Lots of stairs - walking around with a pram requires a lot of extra navigation. Smallest apartment ever! Even insulted to call that an apartment. No electric kettle in the room, the stove barely functions
Only buffet -style eating, which is very challenging when travelling with an infant. No baby food in the hotel (some children options are available), allergen mapping is patchy (though staff is very friendly and always try to find it out), the only store in walking vicinity has pretty much no options for a child with milk allergy: had to carry baby jars from London.

lots of space in each bedroom and bathroom
no tea/coffee making facilities in hotel rooms it was bad of the hotel not to supply them not even with milk, tea , coffee or sugar that is a disappointment

good environment with good service. Lots to do.
Food wasn't always great. Orange juice machine and coffee machine weren't the best. But great variety. Also staff didn't seem to have any ideas of what to do in the surrounding area when asked. I came upon a number of things by chance.

Good resort to stay with family. Especially good for kids.
Rooms are really old.

My daughter enjoyed the kids club. The entertainer guy was nice and we enjoyed our final evening with him in the evening venue.
The children's games section could do with a revamp...

Mostly very nice.
There was a huge choice of food, which was different every day.
Some was not the highest quality but some was, so there is always something good.
There is a good variety of facilities.
However, the spa is quite basic, and needs to be reserved, for. max of 1 hour per day.
The water slides are separate from the swimming pools so you can't just spend the whole day at the pool and have some waterslide time as part of that, so we only used those once.
quite noisy. Doors always banging every time someone nearby enters their room or leaves their room (the door needs to bang in order to lock), and all noise in the corridor can be heard loudly in the room.
The cleaning staff seemed to not spontaneously refill or replace items which had run out, like soap or toilet paper: we had to try to catch them to ask for it, and this was not easy.

easy acces to the sea, beach is really nice
1. super, really super unfriendly staff at the reception. they gave me a bill on which I was put on with people that didn’t belong to me and my daughter. they refused to give me a new one, I was very persistent and asked for a proper hotel bill. the lady interrupted me, raised her voice in a very inappropriate way. after 15 minutes I finally got my bill. this nearly ruined my holiday because I don’t get why people are so unfriendly.
2. we ordered a private shuttle via the hotel, I announced and payed everything correctly- the hotel gave the wrong date to the driver service- we had no shuttle from the airport to the hotel (Friday 8:30 pm). the lady from the hotel didn’t take care, she told me to call the hotline of the driver service and organize it by myself. advice to all: take a taxi, it’s even 20€ cheaper.
I would never book again this hotel, but I have to say the cleaning lady was super nice and did a good job. even the staff at the buffet worked really hard.

Facilities, location, staff, food - very very good! Cala Romantica beach is breathtaking! Absolutely recommend Blau Punta Reina for everyone!
The only disturbing thing was - flies. The rest is wonderful! :)

We had upgraded our room to a sea view room however I have to say the service of staff was beyond disappointing.
We asked for some towels and room essentials that should have been present in the room before our arrival technically - we didn’t get them until day 3 of our stay.
When highlighted this to reception staff - he replied in an extremely derogatory manner .
We travel a lot and stay at much better properties in many different countries - your staff was the worst out of all we have ever been to- no one has ever misbehaved like your staff did with us.
After repeatedly asking for room essentials ( towel and a coffee maker ) for 3 days we were on day 3 given a coffee machine - which was completely rust inflicted from inside. We cleaned it and tried using it only to find out it threw water/ didn’t function.
Beyond disappointed. Definitely sharing this negative feedback in our group of friends and family of travellers.

I needed to move rooms as there was a bad smell from the aircon, this took a few days before I actually got moved, but once moved everything was fabulous

Room (Jr. suite) was nice, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the Cala Romantica beach was also very nice and a short walk away. kids really enjoyed the water slides.
Pools are too crowded.

The splash area of the children's pool was age appropriate for our toddler.
Found the room too cramped with a cot. Pillows incredibly uncomfortable. Air conditioning in the room was poor and very noisy. Noise travelled from hallway and neighbouring rooms.
Food was low quality and not well labelled. We didn’t enjoy the dining experience, though partly our own fault for not researching the size of the hotel. We found it too crowded in dining areas and around the pool and other guests very rude and inconsiderate. Surprised that we had to pay extra when checking in for tea/ coffee/ juice with meals.
Areas of the children's pool where the slides are were very slippery even when due care was taken. There didn’t seem to be any staff in attendance monitoring the area when the pool was unsanitary.

pool, gym, view
Pork in the middle of vegetarian food. I am vegetarian i.e. no seafood, no ham, no pork, no meat products. But there was extremely limited choice. all of the 7 days i had to make do with buttered rice, a slice of vegetable pizza, sometimes pasta. Fruits and then some days milk.
On comparison with the non-vegetarian food, vegetarian food was negligible. I would go back if there were more choices of real vegetarian food.
Also we had booked a double room but first couple of days we were given a standard room. Only after i asked we were shifted to the double room.
The staff at reception were extremely friendly and accomodative. Ana and Teresa in particular.

A lovely resort in a most beautiful location. Excellent staff, food very good standard and varied. A comfortable room and well soundproofed.
A few little maintenance issues, however they didn't take from my enjoyment. The clothes dryer line on balcony needs replacing or repairing. It fell down a few times. The balcony wasn't cleaned since the last Calima wind and the white plastic furniture and tiles were very stained as a result. Also, the water was slow to drain down the bathroom sink. It's a lever type tap that opens and closes. It didn't open enough to let the water down easily and you could see it was clogged with hairs which didn't help. I think perhaps a deep cleaning of certain areas is required.

Lot of choice for breakfast.
Maybe have separate section for children and parents

Location amazing. Kids really enjoyed slides and pools. Amazing views from hotel and very clean. Lots of places to explore and go for walks around. Access to beach maybe not for families with babies. But we loved to explore and little steps leading down to the beach ❤️
Some staff members not too friendly and incompetent. We where nearly overcharge 17 times the price. Food could be better. Repeating same food most nights.

Wonderful and helpful staff (cleaning, bar, Voramar and Bolzano restaurants ).The host at the Italian restaurant made us feel special every day!! Animation team is great. Amazing facilities for kids and families!!
Unprofessional customer service of booking. My request to change my meal plan was not understood or considered. When we arrived, our room was changed to a noisy one. After insisting, we changed for a better one.

Location, close to excellent beaches
A little dated
