Wonderful house and surroundings. Peaceful area and easy access to other places. The owner was lovely and always very helpful. We will definitely go back.

Bostaden består av en totalrenoverad finca intill en bananplantage. I denna bekämpar en flock höns hemtrevligt skadeinsekter. Kök och toalett/badrum är tipptopp med allt man kan begära. Tre stora sovrum. Separat litet hus med härlig grill och matplats. Och en annan byggnad med lekrum och TV. Även andra utrymmen finns samt takterass. Poolen är härlig; den passade oss med små barn utomordentligt. Mycket förekommande värdfamilj och trevlig övrig personal. En hyrbil är ett måste för att ta sig till affärer, badstrand mm.

If you want to avoid the crowds and busyness of the south of the island, you want your own space and you want a house where everything has been thought about then this is for you. We really appreciated our late night meet at the airport, the oranges and bananas from the plantation and all of the little things that made this a perfect break for our family of 6. We had plenty of space in the house and everyone enjoyed the holiday so much. We would recommend to family and friends and hope to be back.

Belle villa, confortable, calme, cuisine bien équipée , agréablement décorée. Très propre et ménage fait à la fin de la première semaine avec soin. Bonne situation pour visiter l'île car accès immédiat à l'autoroute. Accueil chaleureux et possibilité de visiter la plantation et d'assister à la coupe des bananes. Petite piscine temperée et bien entretenue permettant de se rafraîchir.

Super fin villa med alla bekvemligheter. Myckeg trevlig och hjälpsam ägarinna, Pilar är mycket tillmötesgående. Vi har haft en fantastisk vistelse i La Esperanza. Rekomenderar stark för både barnfamiljer och vuxna sälskap. Stort tack Pilar!

The house and place was great, very clean and comfortably. The pool and the roof terrace as a big plus. The owner very helpful and responded almost immediately to our questions. A bit difficult to find the place as the owner was away on holiday and the welcoming person did not understand English. Also notice that you need a car as the place was not very central. Very relaxing holiday as we all can recommend!

We enjoyed 11 nights at Finca La Esperanza on our familymoon! My husband has mobility problems so the house was perfect for him to get around and the pool hoist was invaluable to enable him to enjoy the pool. We have three sons on their twenties who accompanied us on our honeymoon and they enjoyed chilling out on the roof terrace. There is plenty to do around and about although you will need a car. Arucas is a lovely town where we can highly recommend a wonderful tapas restaurant called Entre Duelas y Tapas. Also the rum factory there is very interesting. We also recommend visiting the coffee plantation at Agaete followed by lunch at Puerto de las Nieces. A restaurant called Ragu was excellent there. Pilar is a very helpful host and met us at the airport so that we could follow her in our hire car. We were grateful as it would have been quite difficult to find the Finca otherwise. The pictures do not do this house justice. We were delighted with our stay and would definitely return. Thank you Pilar!

Tres bon accueil, lieu calme et reposant, maison tres bien equipée, super bananerai, la gentillesse de Salvador, les oeufs frais du jour, papayes bananes... Tout simplement génial !!!

Nous avons passé une semaine, à 3 couples, un enfant de 4 ans et une jeune fille de 18 ans. Chaleureux accueil de Pilar,Juan et Alicia. Beaucoup d'espace pour chacun d'entre nous; terrasse avec vue panoramique, salon-salle de jeux séparé de l'espace nuit, espace repas extérieur couvert qui nous a permis de prendre même nos petits déjeuners avec vue très agréable sur la bananeraie.Très bons moments dans la piscine chauffée pour certains pendant que d'autres se reposaient autour de celle-ci en lisant et préparant les balades et randonnées.Cuisine bien équipée. Vaste et belle salle de bain-douche à l'italienne- . Chambre: bonne literie et rangement suffisant.La salle de sport a été appréciée de tous. L'ensemble étant propre. Pilar a été très disponible et très aimable notamment pour nous conseiller et réserver des restaurants; et de nous proposer une visite très intéressante de la palmeraie. Hi Pilar Thanks so much for a warm welcome and a wonderful house. There were 8 of us ranging from 3 months to 70+! We all loved the house - enjoying the swimming pool (despite the chilly weather) and the table tennis table. The banana plantation, freshly laid eggs and friendly dog were all much appreciated additions. The house was plenty big enough for the 8 of us - we didn't even make use of the additional lounge or (because of the weather) the sun deck...although we did enjoy the views of the stars from the sun deck on our last evening. We would recommend this house very much - you do need a car to get around the island...but it's worth having a car anyway to enjoy places such as Teror, Puerto de las Nievas and the dunes at Maspolomas.

We have just returned from Gran Canaria where we stayed here with six adults, a small child and two babies. It was fantastic. Pilar and her family were so welcoming and answered lots of questions for me before I booked for the family. The plantation is incredible. My daughter loved it. She also loved collecting eggs from the chickens and playing with the rabbit. There is so much space here that everyone could find a bit of their own space but lots of communal space too. My whole family adored it and I got serious brownie points for booking! We had an amazing week with trips out to Tejeda, Las Palmas, the caves in Guayadeque and the sand dunes. Thank you Pilar for ensuring our holiday was so memorable.

nice place to be due to the banana farm next to it and Salvador its farmer. the electric power should be increased as unable to cook on two ourlets at the same time. but it remains a very pleasant place to visit . thank you laurent pas send me your email as i have nice photos to send you

We spent in Finca La Esperanza 1 week holidays together with family of friends - totally 7 people. We were fully happy with all we find here - excellent facilities, rooms, pool and roof top terrace with ocean and Las Palmas views, banana plantation, fresh fruits - banana, papayas, oranges and even avocados and fresh eggs. The location of the property is excellent - every part of the island is easily accessible from here. We can recommend this home with biggest pleasure! Thank you, Pilar, for your hospitality. We spent in Finca La Esperanza holidays together with family. These 10 days was great opportunity to sightseeing several places in Gran Canaria. After the trip you can choose: take a rest in the pool or just a look to ocean from house roof, or make a barbecue, look some movie or prepare perfect seafood. Finca La Esperanza offers ideal equipment and facilities for everyone. Each of group can find some secret place if they want to be liitle beat alone -what is necessary for 10 days traveling together 8 people with 3 children :) So thank you Pilar for your job and kindness, about fresh bananas and eggs. We are recomending others travellers Finca La Esperanza.

The property & the location is the best stay I have had with Owners direct. The house was clean modern with fantastic facilities, also the owners are great and very helpful. We run a busy family buisness and its hard to just get away but pilar the owner insured there was internet and it worked great. The house is extremely well equipped and with excellent equipment. The house has a wonderful pool thats heated and just great after a long days walking. The BBQ area and outdoor dinning area we enjoyed alfresco style a few nights. The Villa is situated in a banana plantation that has also fresh aloe vera, avocados. That you can walk around and its amazing to show the kids this is where and how food is cultivated. Now the bonus we had was chickens that laid fresh eggs every day, so eggs was on the menu. Pilar also has an excellent herb garden that I used daily tat comprises of all the main herbs including oregano, rosemary, mint, thyme, basil, coriander, parsley. Everything you need to cook up a excellent meal. We picked the North of the island due to its culture and less mass tourism. The central of the island is wonderful and you can take in some amazing lifelong memories away with you. Also you don't see the mass tourists also there is some picturesque villages on the way. All I can say is hire a car from Cica car (reasonable rates and fair policy) and explore the island and you will see all the places the mass don't. There is great tour close to the villa on a coffee plantation with some lovely vineyards all for 8 euros per adult free for children. As regards for food its all around you including the very best 'El Novillo Precoz' in Las Palmas it doesn't look special from the outside but just walk through that door and you will receive a warm welcome and the best steak you've ever tried. The meat is flown in from Uruguay as I asked the owner. I trained as a chef myself and I rated the restaurant in the top 10 restaurants in the world for selling Beef meat!! Also the volcano is a must and ask the tourist information and the top of the volcano for a tour in the WW2 hidden spotter bunker. Its a nice little video about the history of the island. The tour is free and is worth it! I think this place is well suited for all types of families and has something for everyone. We have a family rule: experience a new place every holiday time but actually we're about to book again!!! Thank you Pilar for being the best host family! :-) you made my family happy!!
