Very nice view and people!
Good breakfast as well
Maybe use another curtain to protect the bed and the kitchen from the rain (in the glamping room)

Beautiful place with amazing views, especially from the bird nest that they built. We also saw monkeys, squirrels and birds from the pool. The staff is really friendly and showed us some nice places by walk. The breakfast is really good (and free at their website).
It's a 15 min walk from the center, which was fine but is good to know.

This stay was simply amazing. Hidden place full of flowers, iguanas a and birds. The apartment we had was so big and great for the price. Really beautiful. We had an awesome time here.

The rooms and kitchens were clean and the accommodation offers so many spots to relax and sit outside watching and listening to natures sounds. The hosts were incredibly helpful by offering to book activities and giving recommendations on what to do. The host even took us for his usual walk, showing us the town. Everyone working there is really inviting without being insistent.
We even extended our stay because it was just so relaxing and had such a nice vibe.

What a cool place, very clean and comfortable, my kid loved the hammocks. Super friendly staff, wish we could have stayed longer!

clean
very hard to find, lots of stairs, no tv, hair dryer or shampoo provided. poor directions and signage to find it. this facility was more like a hostel. ten minute drive to downtown.

I absolutely made the best choice in staying here. The owner was very helpful. The hotel felt like home away from home...but better. The breakfast was fresh fruit and pancakes knew morning. Beautiful spaces to relax outside to do yoga, read, write, work. I felt safe and made myself at home. I was offered many excursions and adventures to explore the local area. I met amazing travelers here.

it has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and the staff were exceptionally thoughtful. Sunset in the hammock was a real treat.
There are a lot of steep stairs, including an outside spiral staircase that makes access difficult.

If you are going for peace and tranquility, this is definitely the place for that. The setting was amazing.
I have nothing to say about what I didn’t like. There was nothing.

We absolutely loved our stay, especially my kid. He said it looks like a castle and enjoyed running around and exploring. Everyone was super nice, the breakfasts very delicious, the room clean and the beds super comfortable

We stayed in the private double room which was spacious and very clean. We only stayed one night but the hotel staff were very friendly and the facilities were great.
The hotel is just outside of the town centre and it is a dark walk in the evening so take a torch

The hotel is created in a fun and creative way. From the various decks, to hanging nets, along with the awesome upstairs bedroom/terrace, downstairs pool, and communal kitchen. The layout provides great opportunities to meet other guests and also give privacy when needed. Morning instructive yoga with other guests was amazing. Out of our 4 weeks in Costa Rica, this was our favorite place by far. Esteban and Zack make you feel welcomed and truly at home throughout the stay.

We booked the El Palomar apartment, the penthouse open air apartment. It was an incredibly pleasurable experience. We awoke with a beautiful sunrise and a magnificent rainforest full of life. The suspended bed and the outdoor shower were wonderful. Perfect

Nice terrasse to chill
Very quiet
A bit far to visit Manuel Antonio Park (15min walk from the bus station and then 20min bus commute)
Small pool, not suitable for swimming

Spacious room, clean, good airco.
Lady at reception was friendly, which cannot be said of the sarcastic owner.
Music all day long in the common area just above my room. Which is also breakfast and kitchen area, so you hear every chair that is moved and every conversation. Although it is quiet at night, luckily.
Room is dark and a bad smell from the bathroom drifts into it. Hard mattress.
You need a car to get into the city centre.

This place is nestled at the edge of town with a fantastic garden and beautiful common areas with a lovely view. We can see some wildlife like tuccans, iguanas, monkeys. Jessica and Esteban were super friendly and extremely helpful, the place offers many tours. We were happy with our zipplinig activity. Our room was huge, it had everything we needed including an AC and a big bathroom and closet. There are also chill out activities on location like movies, meditation etc.
We found the breakfast a biiiit lacking. It was okay and filling but I guess you could get something better for the same price. Check their website before booking as you may get a better deal with a free breakfast when booking directly from them.

- really lovely hostel set out by itself in nature
- very comfortable room
- lovely two kitchens with amazing views
- hang out areas are really great. the best we’ve seen in Costa Rica so far!
- very friendly and helpful staff
- the location is a little bit out of Quepos and not close to the bus station. it is still doable without a car thought! also it’s worth it to be so in the countryside
7.0
- super kind owners/staff
- clean
- the birds nest is really outstanding
- good breakfast
- Pool area was not really appealing
- Location :( it’s „only“ a 15 minutes walk away from town but as it often rains, you are basically stuck, I mean you could still walk but the streets up to the place are not very easy to walk and now imagine with rain…. had to wait 30 minutes for an Uber to confirm
- Prices (breakfast, small supply that you can buy) does not include VAT. however, the owners always say „breakfast is only 6 dollars“ and in the end, 13% is put on top. For me, this was a bit intransparent.
- Charging $3 for using a Yoga mat? sorry but nowadays you can buy one for ~ $10…. when you offer an accomodation a bit far away from town, make sure you offer reasons to stay….

This is a very relaxed property where you can enjoy quiet days and a great view from the terrace. The owner and receptionist were very friendly and the hotel is beautifully decorated with several plants which makes you feel very connected to nature. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and although we didn't have a private bathroom it is only shared with one other room which happened to be empty.
The property is located on an unpaved road, which was challenging during rain season and can be difficult for inexperienced travelers. It also has several stairs (to get to the rooms and reception / terraces) and steep climbs so it's definitely not for everyone, it was actually a little slippery due to the rain. It isn't the best location if you're planning on visiting the national park but the quietness of the area and the lower prices are worth it.

This was the best hotel room we ever had; well, basically it was not a room but an outdoor sky garden on the roof top of the hotel. The experience was really amazing and we really enjoyed our sky gardens. Don‘t be scared, even if it rains - what was the case during the evening of our stay - you stay dry, thanks to a intelligent roof construction.
Despite of that, we can recommend the delicious breakfast at a quite reasonable price and not to forget the really friendly staff.
Nothing to complain, really

Beautiful terrace view, spacious apartment, friendly owner, well equipped kitchen and common area.
We booked at first "standart double room", but the room turned was very small with no comforts, stuffy and the fan was working poorly.
We asked to be able to change the room and after paying the extra fee we recived a spacious air-conditioned room. Thanks! T
The hotel is located quite far from the city center, shops, restaurants and cafes, which is normally not a problem, but during heavy rain you will not just go to the store for water or for dinner in the restaurant next door.

Pleasant stay, great hospitality, welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in a spacious apartment with a view on the swimming pool. We enjoyed the various chill out places with hammocks and lazy chairs.

The location was great! We had 3 bedrooms with the pool view.
Everything was good. Can’t think of anything.

The facilities were exceptional: a pool, two common areas, a birds eye hammock, 2 shared kitchens. There was also a lot of information about things to do in the area and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. There was a fridge to buy items like ice cream, beer, snacks etc. from and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The location was exceptional too, very short walk into Quepos but far enough away to be quiet and surrounded by nature. Highly recommend

I just had a wonderful 3 days in Villas Jacquelina! The place is truly like a treehouse surrounded by a lush greenery. It is designed to let you enjoy it to the fullest, it has multiple chill areas with hammocks, chairs, sofas. Pool is just a cherry on top! Staff is incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful people.. I will miss my early morning and evenings there!

Estaban is super helpful, property is amazing and there are loads of entertainment options. You can really tell that the staff have put a lot of effort in to the place - we really enjoyed staying here!
there were sooo many flying ants in our room, I know they can’t help it but it was a bit of a struggle to get to sleep with so many ants crawling on us

Comfortable room and bed. Ample and comfortable common areas. Use of kitchen. Out of downtown, serene setting with gorgeous views. Friendly, helpful, gracious staff.
The walkways and our cement room floor were a bit slippery when wet.
