Jill was a responsive and welcoming host, and her cottage was a cozy, comfortable place to stay. A perfect site for exploring nearby Acadia, and Schoodic Point.

We loved our little home. So many thoughtful touches like the cooler, bag chairs and ice packs. The property was well decorated and clean. Chairs outside to watch the stars and eat our meals. We loved our time here.

Lovely space and location. The house had everything we needed and is very close to the park loop on the Schoodic peninsula. Loved taking the ferry across to Bar Harbor as well.

The weather was perfect. Sunny and cool. Loved the location. Close to everything but quiet and cozy in the evenings. The cottage was perfect. Super clean. Loved the big bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

The little town of Winter Harbor is a delightful, non commercial area of Arcadia. The town is surrounded by great hiking trails along the ocean, through the woods, some meandering up a small mountain, with incredible view of the ocean. There was a long well groomed bike path as well.
We had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the lobster boats on the ocean, watched magnificent sunsets on Schoonic point, took a ferry ride to Bar Harbor, all of this just minutes away from this quiet, clean, cute house.
One day we drove to Bar Harbor, hiked up Goat's Path, drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain! Every little drive you take opens up to breathtaking views!
The house was great! extremely clean, eveything was freshly painted and cared for, shower had exceptional water pressure, kitchen was small, but had all the essentials, and there were all kinds of fun design elements that made the home feel like Maine.
I would recommended staying here if you want a quieter experience in Arcadia!

We loved it here! Clean, quiet, beautiful location away from the business of the larger tourist attractions. Hubby and I will definitely be back.
Thank you

Hands down, the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in to date. Quaint, Clean and perfectly located! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
5.0 / 5.0
Quaint cottage, comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. Jill is very easy to work with, was very accommodating when we needed to delay our trip by a day due to Hurricane Lee. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfy cozy cabin - nicely decorated and furnished. The only drawback I would say is if you planned to do any cooking or in house eating, you would find the small kitchenette very limiting. No area to prepare or clean up. If you plan on eating out you will be very happy.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to the Schoodic Peninsula area. Sooooo convenient to the Schoodic Loop, the Pickled Wrinkle and Ben and Me Ice Cream and shops. Since the ferry's seasonal schedule did not work for us, we drove to Bar Harbor to do Lulu's Lobster Boat tour, shop and had a picnic lunch in the nearby park. It was less than an hour to get to Bar Harbor. Jill and her husband are a very nice couple and their communication was great. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay in Winter Harbor was wonderful! The cottage’s location was so accessible to all of the Acadia/Schoodic areas we wanted to visit and explore. The cottage was perfect in all ways. It was spotless and well equipped. We highly recommend 90 Birch Harbor!

Loved our stay. Had not been back to Winter Harbor for 24 years, so we really enjoyed our visit. Rental was not fancy but was very nicely decorated with maritime pictures and items. Lobster boat models were really cute. Rental was very comfortable and felt homey. Would really enjoy staying here again if we have the opportunity to visit again.

This was a great find! It's located in a quiet place near the main road, but is quiet.

The home we stayed in was just right. It was a five minute drive from Schoodic Peninsula which is one of the most beautiful, restful sites. There are hiking trails and places to just sit and reflect. The town has just enough places to eat and shop. The home had a lovely back yard, very little traffic and it was just right. The bed was very comfortable, which is important for a two week stay! The hosts are very kind and thoughtful people. Very good two weeks for us!!

This guest cottage was the perfect location, on the quieter of the two Acadia NP Peninsulas. We were able to see everything we wanted to, all within short drives! Thanks!

Very attractive and convenient cottage, near the Schoodic portion of Acadia and very near the small village of Winter Harbor. We stayed for four nights, and by the end of that time, the tiny kitchen facilities were getting a bit tedious. Some workspace, like an island in the middle of the kitchen, would improve the situation dramatically. Still, if you plan to eat out all the time, the kitchen is not a problem. Spacious, clean, attractive. A very positive experience.

We enjoyed all of Acadia, but the Schoodic side is quieter and more restful. The Treehouse Restaurant in Winter Harbor is a must, food and service was spectacular.

Two couples spent a long weekend to see the sights and leaf peep. Other than some fog and rain the first day, all was great! The house is cute, clean, and has everything you could need! Lots of cabinet space, very comfy beds!!! Heat is always a plus and we needed it that last night. It was really just lovely and would recommend for a small family or couples. Jill was responsive to my messages and had good info.

Pictures don’t do this wonderful find justice! It is absolutely darling.
The guest home was easy to find and located in the perfect spot for us. We loved exploring the Schoodic area. The home itself was comfortable, had all the amenities needed plus more, and it was even decorated nicely for the region.
The beds were comfortable, home was very clean, and we hope to use again for a summer visit. Thank you for having us.

Loved everything about this property. Perfect for me and my husband. Convenient location to Acadia, quiet surroundings, and restaurants within easy distance. Owner was fabulous!

This VRBO property was adorable and perfect for our (my mom & me) stay near Acadia NP's Schoodic Peninsula! It's less than a mile and a half to the Schoodic Loop Rd from the VRBO, so is super convenient if you plan to visit there (which we highly recommend!), and it's only an hour to the Mt Desert section of Acadia. We had a fabulous experience and would love to stay again!

Clean, Comfortable & Cute! Perfect 2 bedroom cottage for visiting Acadia. The real plus was the close proximity to Acadia Schoodic Peninsula for sunrises and sunsets.

Beautiful guest house. Clean and loaded with all you will need. You’ll know you are on the coast of Maine—-the house is tastefully decorated with coastal art and artifacts.
Great, quiet neighborhood with plenty to do within one mile. Best place as far as we are concerned to enjoy all that the Schoodic Penninsula offers!

This was the perfect place for us. After sightseeing and being around lots of people it was nice to end our day in a home away from home atmosphere. It was very peaceful, comfy and inviting. Location was perfect! Ad described accurately.

This was my favorite VRBO from our trip to Acadia. Everything was perfect. It was a great size for the two of us. The owners thought of everything, even things I did not think of like clothes pins and a deck of cards. It was private without being isolated and we LOVED Winter Harbor and the Schoodic scenic drive...more than the Bar Harbor drive. We took the (again) thoughtfully provided bag chairs and enjoyed one afternoon sipping and nibbling while we read books on a little bit of rocky shore all by ourselves. This is a great place!
