Beautiful room and location was great
No microwave or bbq facilities

The house was gorgeous and has been impeccably restored and the grounds were beautiful. The facilities were fantastic and it was pretty close to town by car, maybe a five minute drive. We had booked the four bedroom package which was was quite expensive but because we were sharing with three other couples, it worked out pretty cheap per bedroom for each couple. I would definitely recommend.
The capsule coffee machine did not work.

Loved the surroundings. So quiet and private. The King Suite was so comfortable and cosy.

A tranquil and quiet place set amidst manicured grounds with lots of citrus fruit trees. The adjacent trees lining the riverbank are both magnificent & magical. They beguile & enchant - the river is a special place, holding serenity & peace.
The 2x bedroom villa in which we stayed was gracious & tastefully furnished with planation shutters- very effective.
It was well appointed with a wonderfully large kitchen including a very large fridge and stove. Just a shame the 3 salt & pepper sets were all empty
The mattress & pillows are high quality & incredibly comfortable.
Unfortunately, there was lack of privacy in the lounge. There are no curtains or blinds at the glass doors to shield anyone from peering in. We found this very unsettling at night & would have been a concerning issue had the adjoining house been occupied during our stay.
The TV was mounted high at ceiling level making for uncomfortable viewing having to constantly strain the neck.
The bathroom & toilet are situated in an adjoining building necessitating firstly going through an exterior door, then an outdoor uncovered walk followed by going through a second locked exterior door. At night during the warmer summer night's it could be a lovely experience but during the cold & rainy winter nights we found it very unpleasant despite the supplied lovely thick towelling robes & umbrellas

Stunning location, close to town with a beautiful country feel. Good quality linens, towels / robes. Lots of space inside and out. The kids loved waking up to cows and alpacas. Good communication from owners.

Absolutely gorgeous property. The moment you step through the door, you feel this sense of calm. Small touches like locally produced amenities from Vasse Virgin, Coffee machine and quality tea, linens and towels make the stay a relaxing and beautiful experience. The owners of the property do a magnificent job, and they were incredibly accommodating when we had to reschedule. We live locally and stay in busselton regularly for FIFO work reasons, this place is absolutely the best place we have stayed and we've stayed in nearly every place that provides accom in Busselton. If you are undecided about hitting the book now button, just do it. You will not regret it. Staying in a place steeped in heritage and beautifully looked after is an experience you'll not forget, I was reaching for my paintbrushes to capture the relaxing atmosphere the moment we stepped in the door. Well done, Fairlawn. We will most definitely be back!
Absolutely nothing. The word perfection springs to mind. A truly relaxing escape from the hustle of daily life.

The size of room, very comfortable bed, the attractive gardens and rural aspect
The fridge that make constant loud noises through the night

Beautiful, well appointed, large king room with antique furniture and lovely views into the garden and beyond. It was very pleasant to be able to use the adjacent bright lounge with its library and (again) lovely views.
The only problem was the kitchenette area. It had excellent coffee and tea making facilities, but the geometry means the sink is only accessible with difficulty. Also some of the provided crockery was low quality and small changes there would make everything exceptional.

what a fantastic place to stay. totally relaxing just approx 3 km outside of Busselton. we had the king room which was large, spotlessly clean and we’ll stocked The bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows We sat and ate our breakfast on the patio area but lots of cafes in town serve breakfast you can wander around the gardens and even say hello to the 2 llama’s called Nigel and Kevin. loved staying here so much have booked it again

We stayed in the two bedroomed villa. The location is great and the grounds are lovely.
The main issue is that bathroom is not in the villa and you have to walk outside to access it. This should be made clear in the property description on Booking.com.

lovely building.
wifi in our room was not strong enough to maintain a good connection.

Immaculate, beautiful property, very private, we were lucky with timing, perfect weather and sole visitors at the time. Beautiful decor, wood flooring, surprising upmarket quality antiques, minor negative small kitchen is limited, no cooking facilities, a microwave would be handy. So many great places to eat in town, so no real issue. Overall package we loved it, probably one of the nicest hotel rooms, loveliest gardens we have ever stayed in WA. Hopefully it stays a secret so we can go back at a reasonable price one day soon, big thanks to the owners
A microwave would be handy.

Beautiful accommodation in quiet, scenic location. Had everything you want for a holiday.

The location was great and the setting was beautiful. Very well laid out and stocked bungalow, everything you could need and spotlessly clean. The lady we dealt with there was extremely helpful. Plenty of space for the dog.
Was not aware on booking that the bathroom is in another building outside of the bungalow. Only a few steps away and it was just for us, very well appointed and again spotless but meant having to go outside during the night.

Very peaceful setting and stay. Really close to town too. Just minutes away by car. Had a great time wish i could have stayed longer!
TV was hung from the ceiling. Not that important as we didn't get away to watch TV. But it was AFL finals time so was keen to catch the game and that is how I noticed this. Thought to myself i wish the TV was wall mounted so I did not have to stare up towards the ceiling.

Dog-friendly. Owner easily contactable and very hospitable. The quiet surroundings, lovely grounds. Well furnished interior, high quality fittings.
There was no bathroom within the cottage itself. To access, need to go outside into main house.

Location was perfect. Peaceful, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The room was large and comfortable. Very excited to see the coffee/pod machine which was put to good use.
Air conditioner/heater was a little noisy but otherwise this was the perfect accommodation for us.
