We had a thoroughly delightful stay at Le Moulin Des Ruats!

Le Moulin Des Ruats was a wonderful surprise. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and easy to access. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast buffet was very nice with the option to order added items which we did not take advantage of. The staff was personable and helpful. They understood some English and appreciated our attempt at French.

Superbe séjour en famille au Moulin

Super hôtel au bord de l’eau, très chaleureux et avec de belles prestations. Nous avons pu profiter du restaurant sur place, qui en plus d’être délicieux était très pratique avec un bébé le soir. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le petit coin de jeux pour enfants dans le salon/bar. Nous avons ainsi pu boire un verre pendant que notre bébé s’occupait avec les jouets. Le personnel était adorable, nous avons vraiment passé un bon moment chez eux.

good for a night during a trip.

the hotel has improved/renovated the parking as well as the rooms we stayed, vs previous stays, which is appreciated. they’ve installed one charger for 2 electric vehicles

the dinner carte is basic and the dishes did not attract me especially. the fact that there is a lack of personal which makes the service slow.

Great location but not much more

Lovely location and Cloe (reception) was welcoming, friendly and very helpful

Other staff were not so friendly. Food was OK but think that they think it's better than it is. Key issue is thar our dogs were accepted at extra cost but in no way welcomed. Had to put them in room during dinner when one got upset by minimal staff rushing around. More like a couples silent retreat. Not our sort of hotel.

the location is a steep sided wooded valley with a narrow quiet road. there is a GR through the valley. the hotel is charming and being delightfully decorated by a lovely lady and her cec husband.

Beautiful relaxing hotel set in a stunning valley with an excellent restaurant.

This is a beautiful relaxing hotel set in a valley. There are many walks to be had and the restaurant is spacious and superb. There is a large outside space that must be delightful in fine weather. We were able to drive to the wonderful town of Vezelay. Musee Zervos is a small and extremely well renovated museum holding a fine collection of artists - Picasso, Max Ernst, Kandinsky, Laurens, Calder etc. We had a stimulating and joyful time walking through this exceptional town.

Quiet and relaxing location in natural surroundings, with friendly staff and good food.

Wonderful location beside a shallow, fast-moving small river in a wooded valley. Total silence apart from the nature and running water in the river. Good food in the restaurant.

Wonderful hotel with great staff and good food.

Location was excellent overlooking the river and our room had its own enormous terrace. Dinner was excellent and so was breakfast. All of the staff were efficient and courteous

Absolutely beautiful location with wonderful woods for walking the dogs. Excellent dinner and good breakfast. East to find from motorway - next time might even make it a two-night stop!

Although some distance from the town centre the location is idyllic - in a narrow valley beside a river: relaxing and peaceful location. Staff friendly and very helpful. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very close to a national park.

It's a really beautiful place if you want to have a silent holiday with nature all around you. Breakfirst was nice, the restaurant for the evening was really great. Staff was really friendly, and you can even charge your car for a very fair fee.
