Our Villa is located on the fringes of Cerro Azul Resort, Nr. Olhão and Moncarapacho in the sunny Eastern Algarve region of Portugal.
Located in a beautiful and traditional unspoilt countryside location within 10-15 mins drive to some of the best Golf courses, white sandy Beaches and stunning Restaurants serving some of the best local and international cuisine.
"Monte Vista" is a beautiful spacious luxury family villa, with 4 large bedrooms and 3 luxury bathrooms (2 en-suite), which comfortably sleeps up to 10 people.
Purpose designed & built to perfection for two families with 4 kids!
There is air conditioning in all of the rooms to allow a good nights sleep and free Wi-Fi for those who must post their epic dive on Instagram or show off their tan on Facebook.
It has a private and luxurious 10m x 5m South facing Infinity pool with a constant depth of 1.2m overall, giving maximum sun exposure from sunrise to sunset.
Encompassed within 1.5 acres of private natural gardens with 1.8m high hand-built traditional stone walls to keep you secluded and the paparazzi at bay.
The pool terrace is fully furnished and expansive with purpose built BBQ area and external dining area, and is fully equipped with sun-beds and separate relaxation sofas for the cheeky Bombay and tonic or three with a slice of lemon hand picked from your very own trees within the grounds
There is plenty of things to keep you and the kids entertained with the infinity pool and 12 person spa for the closest of friends, pool table, dart board and artificial games lawn for the energetic amongst you for ball sports such as volleyball, tennis, football and bowls.
Enough fun for everyone of all ages, whether your their to relax with a book in the shade under the canopy of the ancient trees or to enjoy the remoteness and make as much noise as you like.

Fuseta with its wonderful lagoon beach is only 5 miles away with ferry boats to wonderful unspoilt beaches & islands. The bigger, noisier Central Algarve beaches, water parks & go karting, etc, attractions are only 30 mins drive away, if that is your wish. Then you can return to the peace and tranquillity of the villa!

Car hire essential to enjoy the villa and allow you to explore the area to its fullest.
Faro airport is approximately 20 - 25 mins drive away via the N125 coast road or the newly built A22 Motorway. We are located at the foot of San Miguel mountain which is easily recognised from the tall antenna masts and is noted as the highest mountain in the Algarve region.
Distances:
Within easy distance are Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace and Roman ruins), Olhao (fishing port), Fresh fruit, veg and fish markets, wonderful restaurants and of course Faro with its fine shopping malls and walled city.
The nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and birdwatching.

The small town of Moncarapacho is approximately 2-3 miles away with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, petrol station, internet cafe, cash machines, pharmacy, dentist, bank, post office, etc. There are numerous bar/bistro restaurants there which are all within 5 minute drive for wonderful lazy lunches at 9 Euros a head & you will find it difficult to spend 15 euros per person per night including your drinks, try doing that In Vilamoura or Vale do Lobo!

The villa is a good size, comfortable and clean.
Communication with the owner and agent was very good.
On arrival we were disappointed with the condition of the sun loungers but these were replaced with new ones part way through our stay. The pool table and dart board are in poor condition and unusable.
However, the pool and the various sitting areas are fantastic. The pool water was warm as it is in sun all day and is not too deep (about 1.5metres). The hot tub and bubble pool added to the enjoyment of the pool area.
The house is in a large plot of land and is very private.
We liked the location (we have stayed in this area before) but it might not be to everyone’s taste as getting to the beaches is not straight forward.
The are some good places to eat within a short drive especially Maria’s (Casa De Pasto Do Carmo) and the doughnut shop (Bolinhas do Carlos).

We had a great time. The villa was in a lovely quiet place. In the middle of nowhere. The pool and gardens were lovely. The villa was spacious and had everything you needed. We did have a few little issues , one of the ovens was not working, the dishwasher didn’t work properly. The sun beds were in poor condition and the pool table was in a awful condition, but this did not ruin our holiday.

The house was really great and spacious. Easy to find. Had all we needed including master bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom, three other bedrooms and two more bathrooms and a toilet. The garden was lovely with a great pool and hot tub.We didn’t use the nearby town so much as we usually went to Tavira for restaurants and beach, but close to large super. Would really recommend.

Outside furniture needs replacing all sun loungers ripped and very uncomfortable advised new ones would be with us in a couple of days but did not arrive towels were left for us to use on them

We stayed for 2 weeks in July 2022 and had a fantastic time. Air conditioning wasn't working in one room on our arrival but was sorted after reporting it to the manager although it took a few days as the guys were so busy. A couple of other issues were sorted quickly.
The villa is beautiful, spacious and of great quality with lots of extras such as toys for children, books etc. The bedrooms were good sizes, the kitchen very well equipped. Everything we needed was there.
Location was beautiful and very easy access to main towns and tourist attractions of The Algarve but you do need a car. Overall I would highly recommend this villa.

We had an amazing holiday at the Villa. Inside was lovely but the outside area was simply stunning, a beautiful pool, hot tub & wonderful seating areas.

The property is very good.
The property is very good, but it's on an unnamed road to getting taxis or anything like that is very very difficult. We had to walk round the corner to another address to get picked up and then drive to the property to collect the rest of the family. Everything else was really good

Relaxing Family Villa with great amenities
Lovely villa with fantastic pool. We were two families with four children ranging in ages from 7 to 22, and all had a brilliant time. Great to laze at the villa all day, swimming, playing pool, and reading in the sunshine, or head out for the day into the local area. Great restaurants nearby with fabulous food for low cost. Easy check in, and well looked after by Vicki and Tetyiana. Would highly recommend

Amazing Villa
We came for a week where the children could enjoy themselves in the pool and we weren’t disappointed! The pool is lovely and they spent most of their time entertaining themselves.
We ate as a family with a choice of 2 outdoor and one indoor location.
The villa is set in a very peaceful location with a friendly (distant) neighbour who kindly helped to return an umbrella that blew over and put up with yelling kids and loud music, even though he is some distance away.
Overall? We kept saying how lucky we were to find this hideaway.

Amazing vacation retreat!
We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful house. The house is well appointed with everything our family of 7 needed and served as a great base for us to explore the Algarve. The property is large and very private while also centrally located to many of the beautiful sights across the region we wanted to explore. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway.

Good Location
We spent a week in September here and were two generations which included 2 children under the age of 3. It was our choice to use the main road and not the toll road, therefore the instructions to find the villa most probably would have been perfect but we did require help. Once found however the villa is well placed to visit all areas. The area is not new to us we can recommend the many lovely beaches. Our wish to come to the villa earlier than our allotted time was granted which helped us with 2 such small children. The villa cannot be faulted for its position, privacy and outside area. However in our opinion it is now in need of some remidial work. We are sure that with a continual flow of guests things are in need of some repair. Although the kitchen is large and does offer a certain amount of kitchen ware it is also lacking in things that a true self caterer like ourselves would need to be able to cook with. For a villa that also can cater for more guests than we were it is a shame that there are so many cups and glasses but not enough plates and bowls, therefore we needed to use the dish washer far more than we would have liked. Our last issue was two of the double beds were on hardboard and the mattresses were so uncomfortable. If these issues were rectified we would not hesitate but to return for another enjoyable holiday.

An amazing villa for the family
The villa is incredible and very well decorated. The pool area is brilliant. Small pool for our toddler, although by the end of the week he was swimming in the big pool (with armbands) with his older brother. Kids play area is great, just watch out for the artificial grass as it can get hot in the sun.
Just watch out for that bed in the master bedroom. Don’t walk in, in the dark. Took my shins a few times.
Throughly enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

The pool is beautiful and the kids had a fantastic time playing constantly in it.

Kids loved running around the property, however there was leftover construction materials around, rusty bolts, wires, etc.

This is a lovely property. You would need a car to enjoy the surrounding area. But as everything is on site you need not even do that! Relax and enjoy.

Lovely clean spacious property perfect size for our party of 9
A beautiful villa in a secluded location which allowed us complete privacy where we could relax and the kids could play and be as noisy as they liked! Moncarpacho and olaho were only a 10 min drive away for shops and restaurants. We also visited some of the local beaches and drove west to Zoomarine, which I throughly recommend, aqualand and Loule.

The villa was lovely and catered for all but could do with a few boy things. Did find it hard to find but was rescued very late at night a huge thank you. You do need a car to get about. Had a great time by all. Hope to return sometime. Thankyou again

Gorgeous modern property ideal for families with children!
We have just returned from a week stay here and we all had such an amazing time! We needed something suitable for young children and this villa was perfect! We loved it that much we are looking to return again. The staff are all lovely who manage the property, if we had any questions they where there to help straight away all we had to do was send a text message. thanks for such a fab holiday!

Wonderful stay
This villa has everything you need for a quiet vacation, a car is a must to visit this beautiful area. There are some fantastic restaurants in nearby monacarapacho,also Maria's just a few minutes drive away. We were well looked after by Tatiana and any problems were soon resolved.The grounds and pool are wonderful! The beaches are some of the best I have ever been to and a visit to Tavira is a must. But if you want to just relax at the villa you don't really need to go anywhere! Thank you for a wonderful holiday , Kevin Shelley and family.

This villa was amazing home from home so modern we lived every minute
From the communication in the uk to the meet and greet in Portugal we could not fault this villa it really was fantastic so modern we felt like we had won the lottery for a week pretending this was our house so nice and big with everything you could need we litrally didn't leave
I went with my family and have a 1 year old and was great for every age with the baby pool being nice and shallow the hot tub and spa were all great even the little play area that looks freshly painted were all bonuses for the kids
I can't stress enough how beautiful this villa is and anyone one that puts a bad review seriously needs to get a grip I would live there forever if I could
We can't wait to return the only one problem was we didn't want to come home amazing villa great communication great price 10/10 all the way thank you for the best holiday ever

We've been to several villas in Spain and this was the best appointed we've seen
The villa is stunning. Can't think of anything we needed that it didn't have.A car is a must if you want to site see as its a bit remote.Plenty within a 30 minute drive though and with good weather we didn't feel like moving around much with such great facilities in the villa.

Fantastic.
Had a beautiful time in Portugal. This villa is truly lovely and so welcoming. the maintenance team are very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. I would strongly recommend this villa to families young and old or people who just want luxury with piece and quiet but can make as much noise as you want.

Amazing Villa
My family and I spent a gorgeous week in this amazing villa in February. My husband is a golf fanatic and played 5 times over the week on various different courses around the area and loved everyone of them.
The villa has everything you could possible want for a truly relaxing break away with the family.
The local restaurants were very friendly and so accommodating and the food was really lovely with such a wide variety to choose from.
We would definitely come back again and have recommended your villa to many of our friends already.
