The beach location
The dining experience was basic although food good, it did feel like a canteen.
All inclusive option was limited, drinks served in different glasses, felt like a lower class of guest
no toilet facility near the beach

The food was great, but some of the cutlery was dirty

I usually don't take too much time to fill out reviews on booking. I'll make an exception this time. It was my first trip to Sardinia. At the beginning, I was skeptical about choosing the department, because of the average grade. However, something told me to choose Voi Colonna. and my instinct did not deceive me. it was one of the best vacations in my life. You will have everything you need in the resort. You will feel at home. The employees are extra friendly and helpful. The rooms are airy and beautiful. Cleanliness at its peak. Let's not talk about food...namely, the scales
shows 2 plus after 1 week ;)
Thank you to all the employees for welcoming us so nicely. I recommend that you also rent a car from them if you don't want to have any problems... A great point for families with children as well....

We spent 4 days at the hotel with our family at the beginning of June, i.e. before the beginning of the high season. The hotel area is very beautiful, the rooms are in small houses in the middle of a beautiful garden. A minibus runs around the campus, which you can use to take you to more distant places.
We had paid for a deluxe room at the Beach Collona hotel with a sea view which was apparently newly renovated.
Cleaning and changing of towels even took place twice a day.
The pool was very clean and the staff checked the water quality every hour.
STAFF:
The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, both in the restaurant, at the reception, and the cleaning service. Everyone was just great.
MEALS:
We paid full board at the Bellevue restaurant. We had our table reserved for lunch and dinner the entire time. The breakfasts were rich, buffet style.
The service is very nice and accommodating. They responded with a smile to the disgruntled and angry children.
THE SEA:
There were plenty of hotel umbrellas. The beach was divided into a hotel part and a public part. Access to the sea was impossible in part due to rocks, but in the other part there was sand.
LUNCHES AND DINNERS:
Lunch and dinner were in the form of a 4-course menu (each course had a choice of 3 dishes). Dinners didn't start until 7:30pm, which might be a bit late for non-Italian families with children.
The first two days we didn't like the food very much (it was poorly seasoned), but then it got better (until we had the feeling that the chef had changed, which was not true).
There were no salads to choose from either for lunch or dinner. It would at least make a salad bar and at least for lunch. However, the staff was very nice and always made me a big bowl of salad at my request.
I would choose this system of served menu maybe only for dinner and for lunch it would be faster and easier for everyone a buffet table.
Of course, with the number of orders, sometimes the staff made a mistake or changed something. And I note that it was the beginning of June and the restaurant was only occupied from 1/4-1/3. I can't imagine what it looks like there in the summer...
THE SEA:
The first two days of our stay there were piles of old smelly seaweed on the beach. After three days, the seaweed in the hotel part of the beach was removed. I would be careful about this: it really spoils the experience of the sea.
TRANSPORT:
It's either across the island or just around Olbia (unfortunately we couldn't compare that), but they have an agreed price that a taxi to the center of Olbia or to the airport costs 50 euros... which we thought was about 10-15 minutes enough.
We recommend booking a transfer to the airport through the local concierge, which cost us 40 euros for three people.

Location, and entertainment
Seating arrangement, no follow up om request, bad communication.

good location, nice beach, clean
wifi connection, poor bathrooms (shower making screaming noise and our sink was initially clogged), assigned seating at the restaurant

The property itself is pretty dated in places. Loved the quick access to the sea. Dining was divided into 3 customer classes: superior, sea view and standard, making us eat in different sections - very weird.
The pool is shallow and pretty useless. Missing floor tiles - safety hazard. Reception staff unfriendly, everything was an effort for them.

I really loved the location, it's amazing. Crystal clear water private beach, very cured environment, a lot of plants, cosy areas, two nice pools. I really liked panoramic views from bars.
Also high quality food, especially for the dinner (like shrimps, mussels, different types of pasta, dessert table), everything delicious.
Staff is very very nice, helpful and always easy to reach.
We stayed in Classic room and unfortunately beds could be better.. they were uncomfortable, were sliding and the mattress was poor.

The exterior from the village looked nice and good that we took a superior room with a sea view otherwise i would say that this was 100% a disaster place.
I really don’t wanna be mean but this resort has nothing to do with our century,As I mentioned that the exterior looked nice, and the view, BUT the real disaster started when we entered in our room, everything but absolutely everything was outdated, from furniture to the curtains, tv, to the wall paint, absolutely everything, not to forget about the bathroom, I can’t describe, MAYBE in the 80’s this hotel was a 4 star hotel, but today definitely not, nothing changed since than, overpriced, i am sorry but you can’t call your hotel a 4 star hotel with this conditions, to bad, i would never recommend this place to anyone.

The location it’s beautiful , close to the sea side , sun beds available and umbrella , staff very welcome and available to help you .
Breakfast was fine but could do with some more options , lunch and dinner -very good , good very nice and tasty and plenty to choose from .
First of all , the hotel or resort says it’s a 4* , but the room that we had , I wouldn’t give it more than 2* -classic room , the bed -apparently a double , apparently because was more like 2 single , the mattress-awful, even my grandpa had a better mattress , the aircon wasn’t working properly , and were 35 degrees.

Room needs upgrading , bathroom especially. Sink hanging off the wall, tiling awful . Mice dropping on the balcony every morning!!
Lack of choice with meals and breakfast cold needed reheating in the microwave.
No kettle /tea facilities in the room.

Amazing food - great choice of delicious dishes every single meal and really lovely staff waiting at tables. In fact, the food made this hotel amazing. The beach, and the pool were great - The pools were never busy. The sea water was warm and to our delight a great snorkeling experience. The entertainment every night was great fun. The Kids Club staff were just out of this world and deserved a medal for their professionalism and love for the children they catered for. They created an amazing family vibe at the hotel.
The staff at reception really let the hotel and our experience down, the lack of attention to detail and politeness was very disappointing, and definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Reception staff's command of English was very poor which meant in our case half of the information we needed to know about using facilities etc was not provided and we had to find out things as we went along. Our welcome pack with timings and other information was also all in Italian. Reception staff created a sense of disparity between guests - You never felt that you mattered as while they were serving you they always decided to serve someone else at the same time. Italian guests were always prioritised, fast tracked and more often than not attended to first and ahead of other non Italian guests. Very disappointing was also to have paid more and booked a quadruple room, which on the website I was made to believe would be bigger but when we arrived we were given a double room with an extra single bed.

Resort is very nice, clean, close to the nice beach which is sometimes overcrowded. Good effort by the team who organises shows! I would say it's a nice place for families with small children. Far away from everything so don't come without car.
Food is average, bad choice of meat, cold bread from fridge?!, wine they serve at the dinner is undrinkable. Better not to offer that.

Staff were fantastic, particularly Enrico, Giada, Andrea and Paola. The breakfast and dinner selections were good and tasty, and the location is stunning with plenty of onsite activities.
Having more catering available / for a longer period of time throughout the day would have been ideal.

nice location, beautiful beach, transfer from hotel to beach with friendly driver, good pool, entertainment program every evening. Rosa from reception was very helpful & friendly, special thanks to her!
The room was old & not very comfortable, food was average for Italian standards, but sometimes for dinner there was delicious pasta, cleaning of the room could be better & bed sheets were not changed even once during a week. But most of all I did not like discrimination & how hotel divides people of first & second class almost everywhere: for those with superior rooms superior treatment (even though it was impossible to book superior room in booking) - first 3 raws of beach beds on the beach are only for superior rooms, better restaurant are only for superior rooms, even in the restaurant that was available you get assigned a table & the ones that are with view are for someone else, this discrimination is felt in everything.

rooms were worn and torn which isn’t a big deal unless you want modern. location was far away from things so struggle with no car.

The views from the hotel were the only positive aspect of our trip
The staff left us in our room with no information and it always felt like any question was a chore. It didn’t help that no front of house staff member spoke very good English, so we were very much left alone. Large extra charges for basic items such an iron was very frustrating. The breakfast was very poor and the staff again were very unhelpful. For the amount of money spent, we were left feeling extremely disappointed with our stay

breakfast basic but fine. staff friendly. Setting was fabulous with gorgeous views of gulf and lovely beach. stayed in superior room, very clean and bright and was plenty big enough with good shower/balcony.
beds very uncomfortable!; also initial impression of village was that shabby and a bit run down. very difficult to get dinner or any food outside of all inclusive; what we got first evening was very basic. we stayed B&B.
Lovely beach hut for lunch.
