Perfect House in the Lovely Pyrenees
This house was perfect for us, 5 adults winding down an 11 day trip to the southwest of France. The home was charming, spacious and wonderfully convenient to all of our activities in the Pyrenees. We sat around the big kitchen table with our wine, sharing the highlight of our travels and planning our next trip!
We loved being able to just walk everywhere. Great little shops and restaurants nearby. Jude, the "key" lady was so helpful and responded quickly to our texts.
This was truly a great home! I hope we get to return someday! Thanks for helping make our vacation a memorable one!

A fabulous spacious and well furnished house
We booked the house for 2 families over the Christmas period. The house was perfect and proved to be an ideal base for searching out the best snow. The house has been equipped using quality furniture including wonderfully comfortable beds and whilst spacious still managed to feel cosy and familiar. Snow was in short supply generally during our stay but we managed to find excellent skiing for all abilities at both Luz Ardiden and Gavarnie. The house is wonderfully positioned just a few minutes amble away from the town centre which gives a chance to enjoy the pretty backstreets of Luz Saint Sauveur. The house exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great holiday house
The fact that this was our sixth holiday in La Petite Maison says it all. The house has suited us very well over the past few years, and is ideal for two or three families. The children love the huge attic bedroom and the house is plenty big enough for everyone to find somewhere to relax after a day on the slopes. We particularly love the big kitchen, which is well equipped, and the comfy beds with their good quality bed linen. Thank you for having us and we hope to visit again!

Typical French Experience in an Ideal Location
The perfect location both property and town to experience a French holiday. The house set in a quiet square with no main through traffic yet numerous townsfolk walking the dog or collecting baguettes to practice your French with. The main centre of the town is only 5 mins walk with all the amenities you will want for day to day living and also all holiday pastimes you could possibly think of. The house is very spacious, clean, and is ideal for large groups as well as small due to the size of the communal areas such as 'log fired lounge' and well equipped kitchen. The surrounding area is simply stunning whatever your outdoor activity may be, mountains, valleys, rivers, or visiting historic sites. During our visit we ski, snow shoe, and summited a few low snow covered peaks. Additionally we had an evening at a small bowling alley in the town which proved to be good fun. There are numerous restaurants, bars and typical French shops and yet the 'villigy' atmosphere seems to have been maintained. During our week we used three different ski resorts which catered for all abilities and were set in some magnificent scenery. Would I return? yes most definitely!

Fantastic Location, Great Home
We felt very lucky choosing this home. It is near the heart of the village, an easy walk to everything, and has very well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms and a great eat in kitchen that is well equipped. We would definetely suggest this for friends.
The house is better than advertised and better than the pictures.
We were four brothers, two which brought spouses, to cycle the climbs of the Tour de France which are nearby.

Great location for Mountain walking trip
The house was perfect for a group of elderly but fit mountain walkers.
Local agent Jude was a wealth of knowledge of the area, and the local restaurants were of a high standard. We will certainly visit again and recommend this property to our friends.

Brilliant Location
Luz St Sauveur is a great base for a walking holiday. Within 30 minutes we drove to superb walks up the Tourmalet or down to the Cirque de Gavarnie and the adjacent cirques in the Valle de Heas. The village has a large [and also a mini] Carrefour which together with the well equipped kitchen make self catering ideal.
The house is a typically Pyrenean village property and was exactly what we expected. Although "petite" may be a trade description infrigement since it is actually very spacious.
The bedrooms are large and the beds and bedding very comfortable. The attic room contains a double in a large space and 4 singles under a sloping roof which are a bit of a challenge for tall adults. But light and airy under the velux windows.
The bathrooms are large with two very good showers and plenty of hot water for several tired walkers.
There are comfortable leather armchairs in the lounge and also a TV. We never needed the TV and very rarely managed to slump into the chairs between table and bed !
If you don't like this house you're probably on the wrong holiday

Perfect pyraneean location
This house is in a fantastic location with beautiful surroundings. Its has a traditional french feel to the house but with also with modern touches such as underfloor heating and bright spacious kitchen and spacous comfortable lounge with log burner which makes for a lovely cosy setting. Local people are very friendly and the house is very close to ammeinities. Lovely french market on a monday morning with fresh pyraneean produce. Great location for hikers/skiiers, bikers or just relaxing in the mountains. We had a fantastic stay and there was plenty to do in a very comfortable house.

Fantastic!
This was our third visit to La Petite Maison and it is still as lovely as ever. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and immaculately clean upon arrival. The beds, pillows and duvets are just perfect after a long day's skiing.
There were twelve of us this time and the house coped very well with so many people around the kitchen table. The attic room was great fun for the six children.
The very good restaurant on the square (La Tasca) was just a few metres from the house and proved a reliable source of evening meals!
Can highly recommend the house as a base for a family ski holiday.
We're already looking forward to returning again next year.
