Old Armoury Barn is a stone cottage set in the town of Ashburton in Dartmoor. It offers two bedrooms including a king-size with an en-suite and a twin room, along with a family shower room, the property can sleep four people. Inside you will also find an open-plan living room including a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside it offers off road parking for two cars and a courtyard garden with furniture. Old Armoury Barn is a cosy cottage placed excellently for exploring Dartmoor and the area.
Amenities: Electric heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for one car, two small cars possible (please enquire). Courtyard garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed via a narrow lane, 2150mm at minimum point.
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Ashburton lies on the southern edge of Dartmoor and is ideal for exploring the moors and the coast. The town has a good selection of amenities including artisan shops and a museum as well as tea rooms, a wine bar and a food deli. Teignmouth, a seaside town, is within distance.
