Very well appointed, great location, modern facility. Three generations of family in Edinburgh to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and attend some of the festival activities.

This house was so clean and spacious. Every floor is thoughtful with a guest in mind. The beds are super comfortable and the neighborhood is not only quiet but so close to where you want to be. This is the perfect place to stay and we will definitely be requesting it upon our return to Edinburgh!

My family and I stayed in this wonderful home from which we explored Edinburgh and other areas. It's a beautiful home, well equipped, and everyone enjoyed having their own room. The owners were very responsive. I definitely recommend staying here when you're on travel.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house is spacious and very well appointed. The information guide was detailed and helpful. Located in the city but not in a busy area, great view, access to the park just around the corner.

We absolutely loved our stay in Edinburgh and look forward to coming back. This home was the perfect place to explore everything the city has to offer. The only challenge was that we liked the place so much we didn’t want to leave.

The home was beautiful, well appointed, and very well maintained. The owner provided very helpful instructions on how to work the appliances, heating, and how to be at home.
We loved that Holyrood park was right out back. We canceled a tour so that we could walk the park and hike to Author's seat.
It's also quiet: It's away from crowds but close to where you want to be. We walked into old Edinburgh through the park and then onto the Royal mile (passing Holyrood palace). We loved Edinburgh and will plan to come back and explore more of this city and hope to stay here again.

Perfect location (no tourist, walk to anything one wants). Perfect house, four floors for family and friends to spread out across. For queer folk, super nice queer-bar 15-minute walk away (seriously friendly and welcomining). Host was amazing (responding in minutes or hours to every question or request). Exceeded every possible expectation. Will come back to this house/host on our next visit. And if not available on the dates we ask.... we're so keen, that we'll just change our travel dates so as to benefit from this lovely house. Close to parks, groceries, attractions, UBER, Arthur's Seat, queer-bar.

My family, my husband, 2 adult children and myself had a very enjoyable time at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy spending time in the city as well as downtime. The weather was cold and rainy and the fireplace made our stay warm and inviting.
We had a couple of questions due to our itinerary and response was quick from the host and very helpful. If we visit Edinburgh again, I will definitely check this property first for availability.

Perfect for 6 adults and 21 month old. Enough room for everybody to have alone time if needed. Views were spectacular. Easy to get to down town Edinburgh. Hop on hop off bus tour was great. Everyone raved about all amenities. We would rent again.

A great house for friends or family groups. It's very spacious and has everything needed for your stay.(very generous amounts of toilet paper, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets etc) The location is great as it's within reach, by foot, of the city centre, yet on the outskirts which makes it peaceful. The views of Salisbury Crags from the balconies are stunning. And the access to Arthurs Seat is just a short stroll across Holyrood Park which is behind the house. There is a large supermarket 5 mins drive away and some lovely pubs just a short taxi ride away. A great place to stay in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

Wonderful property in an amazing setting.

As a group we were overwhelmed by the spacious accommodations, the relative distance (short) from all of our intended attractions in Edinburgh, but more than anything the extreme comfort and gorgeous views provided by the residence.

This is a great property - everywhere in Edinburgh is walkable. The layout is also really good - we were able to accommodate friends and family across the multiple floors. Really clean and with great views it was a perfect retreat after a busy day in the City. Thoroughly recommend it.

This was our first trip to Scotland and I wanted a nice spacious place for my husband and I, two kids as well as my dad to stay. We had a lot jam packed things to do during our stay so it was important that we felt at home somewhere, could rest after a long day and could access everything easily. My kids each had their own room and my father had a private area on the first floor which was perfect. I can not say enough about the view. To sit on the patio each morning/night and look out at Arthur's Seat was priceless. We walked to Arthur's Seat several times. We also walked to most of our attractions in Edinburgh which was so nice. Our host Mike was so accommodating and responsive. He thought of everything when it came to making us feel at home. I am so glad we chose to stay here and would recommend this property to anyone.

I absolutely recommend this lovely house. Communication with the owners was great. Very friendly and helpful. Location is incredible. We were able to walk to Arthur’s seat, Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile/Edinburgh castle and the train station all while pushing two kids on a stroller. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had all we needed.

This home is absolutely phenomenal! The location is perfect. We hiked Arthur’s Seat every day. The house is clean and the beds are so comfortable. We had groceries delivered easily and enjoyed sharing family time together. My 15 year old son can’t stop talking about it…Edinburgh has stolen his heart!

From the property owner’s warm welcome and treats to the comfort, location and appeal of the home, we couldn’t have asked for anything better for our stay in Edinburgh.

The entire process was easy. Communication with the owner was very good and easy. They never seemed bothered with our questions, even if they had already provided the information at the house. Would rent from these owners again.

What a fantastic property , felt very luxurious and comfortable. We were a family of 6 adults and we each had a bedroom with an en-suite (apart from the single room but there was a lovely family bathroom) . This meant everyone had their own space and no waiting for the bathroom !!
Everything we could want or need was in the house … extremely well equipped kitchen … and very clean. Views were amazing with little balconies on a couple of floors where we were able to sit and admire Arthur’s seat . Easy short walk to get there across holyrood park . Lovely climb up it … took about 20 minutes with spectacular views across the city .
Easy walk into the city …. Took 20 minutes across the park .
Buses very nearby and inexpensive …. £2 into city centre .
Would thoroughly recommend this property . More expensive than would normally pay but well worth it.
Thank you to the owners , we loved it !

Lovely property in the centre of Edinburgh with good access for bus routes to Princes Street or easy walk into centre of town and Holyrood/Royal Mile. Next to Royal Park so lovely views and easy walking away from traffic. Property very well equipped, clean, warm, great showers with loads of hot water. Nice kitchen and spacious dining room. Lots of space to sit and chat.

Booked as a special birthday gift, we couldn’t have chosen a nicer place to stay. Situation of the house is outstanding, as are the facilities and accommodation. The access instructions were spot on and the whole house was immaculate; thank you for a fabulous break. Can’t recommend more highly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a short walk to bus stops and easy to get around. The owner had a lovely book with all the details we needed to know the area and the house. Highly recommend.

This was the best self-catering accommodation I've ever booked. It's a tall townhouse with lots of spacious rooms and great views over Holyrood Park. It's comfortable and tastefully decorated. All the furniture and equipment is new and of high quality. And the location is perfect, with a 10-minute walk through the park to the bottom of the Royal Mile and the centre of town.
We had a great time in Edinburgh. Wonderful city, lovely accommodation, highly recommended.

This property was ideal for my family. The views and location are amazing. The back garden and windows overlook Arthur's seat, which is a great hiking location with spectacular views of the town and ocean. Only a mile from town, we were able to walk everywhere. The home itself was clean and comfortable, and we had all the basic supplies that we needed. Contact with the property owner was easy and their response was always prompt. We fell in love with Edinburgh and will definitely be returning.

This property was perfect for our eight-person, three-generation family group. It was everything advertised and more: clean; spick-and-span; easy to reach; fully functional. It obviously is lived in at times by the owners and clearly is loved. It is an easy walk (we turned in our rental car upon arrival) to a supermarket, restaurants, and Edinburgh's Royal Mile. It was the perfect house for our group,..

A cosy and very well equipped dog-friendly house in walking distance to all city attractions in Edinburgh. Mike and Cheryl are fantastic and very helpful hosts which are always available when there were questions and offered very fast solutions. We really recommend this house especially when you look for an opportunity with a larger group or family. Especially if you have a dog the sorrounding area is perfect as the house is directly at the Holyrood Park which is famous for dog walks.

Great location and views!
This was a great property in terms of location and views. We stayed for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The walk to Royal Mile is about 20 minutes and the house was comfortable. The views are amazing and the area is quiet. We had 7 people so the home was better for us versus a hotel. The homeowners were very accommodating and communication was quick. I will put it on my list so when we are back in Edinburgh, it will be a place we may stay again.
Thanks Mike and Cheryl!
