Basic self-catering in cabins on the shores of lake Inari

Wonderful location. It had a kitchen, with a microwave, and we experienced no problem from the fact that the kitchen was shared. Owing to a factor beyond our control we were very late arriving, and the owners were very accommodating.

More things to cook in that you can put in a microwave would make things a lot easier in the kitchen.

Warm cabin even when outside was -26 degree.

Carpet around the table has food crumbs, perhaps the owner should consider removing it if cleaning is a hassle.

Beautiful location to observe Aurora lights

It is located in a remote area surrounded by trees. Nice and quiet. Free parking spaces available. We also got lucky to see Aurora Lights.

The main door of hut was not closing properly. Beds are also uncomfortable

Beautiful spot to watch auroras.

The only luxury that I found was the quietness and the proximity to the lake makes an awesome spot to watch the auroras, which I could even see in a day without major activity. Staff provided me some snow shoes so I could go walk around! Con: There's nothing around. Pro: There's nothing around.

Highly recommend for a wild but special winter stay, far from the crowd and city

Wonderful host. The lady picked me up from bus station to prevent 30-min walking under the snow. Not once, but twice! She has lovely smile and kindest heart. Nice location. Next to Ukonjarvi lake where you can see aurora. (3min walking) The room itself was lovely, small but sufficient with private bathroom and toilet, fridge, microwave, kettle, also hair dryer. Then they have kitchen right in the back where you can make the whole restaurant. Very warm and cozy.

beautiful lake

we had a room, which was very hot and humid. unfortunately, there were no mosquito nets on the windows, so we couldn’t open them to get any fresh air as there was an army of mosquitos swarming in within seconds

Cosy cabin at the lake with a view (B1)

I was surprise to find the cabin well equipped (kettle, fridge, coffee maker, one cooking plate) and even with running cold water. Did not expect it.

The toilet was a bit far away, so when in a rush you might not make it ;-) Better plan ahead. Also I saw only one shower where the water was not running away properly.

Great place in the middle of forest for nature lovers!

Great localisation. wonderful lake and sunsets! great place for campers! Fireplace. Sauna. Close to two National parks.

The room could be more spaceful, no wardrobe.

Perfect location, super fast internet - place to be for a down to earth get-a-away.

Wow - what a surprise! This "campground" is a little off the main road, located at a lake. I booked a cabin for 35 EUR/night and I got a cabin right at the lake shore, with coffeemaker, fridge, huge panoramic window, big table in front of the window, little balcony with chairs. Super fast internet in the cabin, sauna only 100 m from the cabin (you have to reserve it though). As I work remotely from time to time, this was the perfect spot!
