Perfect beach house for multiple families
You can’t beat the location of this property. Just a short trip down some stairs and you are on the beach. We stayed here with two other families for a total of 6 adults and 4 children (ranging 7-9). The kids loved that they could just play on the sand at any time. The view from the living room and kitchen is amazing. We could see whales and dolphins while eating breakfast. The house was set up perfect for 3 families. The kids split the walk through bedroom and the back living area. Kitchen was well equipped with cookware, plates, silverware and glasses but bring your basics like salt & pepper etc. there were plenty of beach and bath towels and bedding. The house was very clean and adorable, much larger than I was expecting too. But after being there for a few days we did notice a few cosmetic things like paint peeling on the bottom of the bathroom door, old looking shower faucets, small stuff like that. Nothing major. Newport Pier is a quick mile walk away. There is a grocery store within a 15 minute walk. Parking is tight. The space comes with one spot and parking is only allowed on one side of the street because there is a bike path on the other side. Luckily the owner of the property was not using the bottom level so we were able to use both spots. My husband’s truck didn’t fit though so we had to move his truck everyday looking for a spot. It was a great week though and we decided we will definitely be back next year for spring break.

Can’t beat the location
The location was phenomenal. Would return there in a heart beat if they ever remodeled the property. The house needed updating and some deep cleaning. Dust all over ceiling and walls. Floors were dirty. Towels and bedding had to be washed upon arrival. Owners should provide some beach chairs since it’s not something we would have brought with us from a land locked state.

Outstanding Views
The open kitchen, dining, and living area is perfect for gatherings. Hearing the sound of waves crashing on the beach while relaxing with family provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The house is in need of some TLC. Would suggest changing the shower faucets to a design that are easy to clean and prevents green mold growth.

Our Newport Vacation
We enjoyed this location very much. Clean and comfortable with great beds. Wish the Wifi had worked a little better while we were there. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

Overall great property
We sincerely enjoyed our stay last week at this property. It is right on the beach which was fabulous. The parking is rather tight, so only take one car if possible and make it a small one at that. The second story space offers amazing views and you only have to go down a small staircase to get to the beach. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would definitely stay here again.

Great Beach House
Just finished a great experience with family. Rental is very spacious with 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. Not the Ritz, but no beach rental should be! One of the bed rooms is a "pass through", but worked very well for us. This unit is upstairs, and right on the sand. Sea breezes and the smell of salt air are abundant. Has Wifi and cable. Washer and dryer downstairs. One covered parking spot in the garage, but the downstairs owner was not in residence, so we were allowed both spaces. We had small children, and there are stairs front and back. Back stairs open onto street, but we had no problems. Unit was clean and well kept. Mgmt company was very easy to work with. This unit is great for large families. Very highly recommend, and will return as soon as I can.

Not fancy but perfect for us!
First, this rental is big! We could easily fit 12 family members for sleeping, eating, lounging, and bathing without really feeling cramped at all. Do you realize what a big deal that is? It's a big deal. We had six kids lined up at the bar to eat and six adults eating at the table. The bar in the kitchen is wide enough to feed people on one side and set up a buffet on the other. Plus, the sofas shown in the photos are no longer there. In their places are very comfortable deep cozy sofas with padded arms and backs, perfect for being lazy or cuddling with kids. Grandpa even slept on one of them one night.
As another reviewer mentions, the unit is on the beach, see in the picture... you can see the sand! There is no path between the house and the beach, so no bikers, no skateboarders to dodge around to get to the water. We would often let the little people hang out in the sand right in front of the wall and we could watch them from the windows.
The rooms were fairly good size, in some cases we needed to throw a single blow-up mattress (that we brought) in with mommy and daddy so a young child could sleep securely. Of the 4 bedrooms, three of them could easily accommodate an addition blow up mattress in the room. There was also another room at the back of the house, sort of a family room thing that had two futons which could sleep four people (a TV in that room as well, although we didn't turn it on - did you not see we were on the beach?!).
The access to the beach was easy, out the side door there is a landing which we made into a sunscreen station, then down the stairs and out the gate to the sand. Super duper easy.
The only reason I didn't give this home 5 stars was that it had a few issues:
- The condenser in the refrigerator leaks and leaves puddles on the floor.
- There was no can opener (no refried beans - what?!)
- Parking could be tough, lucky for us the owners were not in residence while we were there so we had all of the spots in the garage (2) and the spots in front (2 if your cars are SMALL).
Also, the place is not fancy but to me that meant that we didn't have to fuss as much about the kids making the messes that kids are prone to make.
Personally, I would love to come back here three times a year, I love it that much - with or without a can opener. But I know a lot of people like someplace fancier, so choose what you like. It was clean and comfortable and easy. And that sounds like a perfect vacation for me!

We were very pleased with this unit.
This unit is approximately 100 feet from the ocean. The view from the living room is worth it, if nothing else goes right. We would wake up and as soon as we opened those blinds, we felt like we were on the beach already. The furniture is slightly overused and outdated, but again, we can live with that for the view. Also, I couldn't give 5 stars because the kitchen was not stocked with basic utensils for 12 people, as advertised. I will say that when I complained, they made it right quickly.
