About this house rental
Wilson House provides a very comfortable, beautifully decorated central base and is located near St Andrews' West Port. It is a south facing compact town house.
This is a perfect house for 4 but we can sleep up to 5. The kitchen table can extend to seat 5 but is best as a smaller rounder table for 4 as you have more room in the kitchen. If you are a family of 5 with children then you will all fit in fine. Most groups tend to be of 3 or 4 adults as we have 1 twin room, 1 king room and a small single room.
The house is on two levels and has a small courtyard with table and chairs for smokers or barbecuers.
On the ground floor you have the kitchen/diner with washer/dryer and then a twin bedded room with en suite shower room.
Upstairs you have a small single bedroom next to the King (UK King is 5ft wide) bedroom, the sitting room and a further shower room shared by the single and the king room. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towel rails. Please note, these stairs are relatively steep - so bear that in mind if you have a group incorporating the older and younger age groups.
The house is a traditional town house, full of character with varying door heights and widths. We have free wi-fi and Sky TV upstairs in the sitting room and downstairs in the kitchen. Travel cot (bring own bedding), baby bath, and high chair available if requested/booked in advance.
Parking - If you are lucky you can get parked for free opposite the property but it should be noted that parking is available in the 2 Argyle Street car parks very close to the property - £3.80 per day or you can park nearer the tennis courts for free. Argyle Street car parks have EV charging points.
It is only one minute’s walk from St. Andrews' West Port. On arriving at the West Port you will instantly be amongst the bustle of the shops, bars and cafes of this lively university town. The flat is about 5-10 minutes walk from the first hole of The Old Course and because of its location all parts of town are easily accessible on foot. A minute or two in the opposite direction of the West Port you will find the Lade Braes which offers leafy walks beside the Kinness Burn.

This was the perfect spot for the 3 of us on our golf trip. Walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants in the area.

Wilson House exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully furnished and very spacious. The linens were very nice and the beds comfortable. It had all the amenities you could ask for. The location was wonderful - an easy 15 minute walk to The Old Course and 5 minute walk to St. Andrews town center. Suki was friendly, helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay at this St. Andrews flat. The property looks just like the photos in the listing. Booking was seamless- the host was very responsive and helpful. It is in a great location making it easy to walk into town, to the golf course, the beach, and the university. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful town house in St Andrews! The bedrooms/bathrooms were very comfortable, the upstairs sitting lounge was perfect for relaxing and socializing, and the kitchen was convenient for cooking our own meals. In addition, the location could not have been better--just a short walk from the bus station, bars/restaurants/shopping, and the Old Course and other St Andrews golf courses. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to town. Highly recommended!

My sons and I just spent a week in St Andrews playing golf. It was a trip of a lifetime! A highlight was staying at our VRBO which was perfectly licated in the midfle of everything and a short walk to the Old Course. The VRBO was very nice and came as advertised. Our host Suki was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.

The house was in a perfect location to enjoy all that St. Andrews had to offer. Easy access to golf, restaurants, shops, sightseeing and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend it to those thinking of making a trip to St. Andrews.
A couple of suggestions to make a stay even better: a smaller frying pan for the range; a top sheet on each bed (the comforters were a bit too much some evenings), a green bin for recyclables (tit appeared to be 2 blue bins); power wash the deck/patio to get rid of the bird droppings, feathers for a more enjoyable use of this outdoor area(I know this is as on-going challenge with the seagulls)

Beautifully decorated house, beds VERY comfy and great location. Easy to get to both West and East sands and all the restaurants along the way. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at the house and each time is as special as the last. The house is warm and inviting. The location is perfect. The house is decorated elegantly, the kitchen and bathrooms are new. The beds are comfortable. Will be coming again soon !!

This was our first visit to St Andrews. Our trip was incredible and staying at this property is one of the reasons why! The location is in walking distance to EVERYTHING. The flat is clean, modern, loaded with any convenience you may need, and cozy. It felt like home away from home. Instructions for using items within the flat were phenomenal. The host was very welcoming and responsive and provided loads of tips that made our visit stress free and enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely plan to stay here on any future trips to St Andrews!

This was a fantastic place for us while we stayed in St Andrews. They were two adults and three children and plenty of room for all. The home was comfortable, very clean, and had excellent character to boot. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place for their family or as a couple to stay here while in St Andrews. Within walking distance to everything. Thank you Suki!

The house has great location at the end of a busy street just a few steps from the town center. Yet, it’s quiet which we have very much appreciated, especially because there was the Lamma festival on Market St last weekend. This property has all the essentials & a few extras (all listed by the owner in advance), it was very clean and tastefully decorated. All rooms including kitchen were very cosy, especially the single room. The only minus I’d give is about the outdoor seating area. It’s pretty bare and has seen better days, nonetheless I really liked the place and with a couple of cosmetic improvements this would be a 10/10 rating for me next time!

Lovely Home in Beautiful St. Andrews
This was the ideal location for our family during graduation week, 2022. The house is close to everything, but, on a quieter street which is just what we wanted. Everything about the house was very nicely designed and well thought through. Great instructions and information about appliances, etc…. We were 4 people most of the week, 2 on the weekend and 5 for a couple of nights, too. Having the small extra bedroom upstairs allowed us that flexibility which was great.

We had four perfect nights at this property. It is charming, elegant, newly renovated/decorated and cozy. And amazingly convenient, being right by the West Port.

We had a fantastic stay in St Andrews, the house was beautiful and it was in an ideal location, close to town centre and beaches.
We had a few welcome treats on arrival and the additional toiletries were a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return again.
