Beautiful location with grassed areas to sunbath next to the see. Spacious grounds. Staff in the office were lovely and very helpful. Lots of information given about the area. 10 minute walk to lovely restaurants with supermarket and pharmacy 5 mins away. Very clean apartments. A little dated but very clean.
I personally did not like the maisonette bedroom in the roof. Not a problem but next time I will ask for the one with downstairs bedrooms.

Air conditioning was good.
We ate just onetime at poolbar, it was not tasty. We ordered eggs on toasted bread, they just brought heated bread! Poor performance! Kindness of the poolbar personal. The entrance and backyard of the building we stayed (No : 4) was like garbage dumps and the facade of the building were neglected.

The complex was private and quiet which was very peaceful in the evenings. Lovely pool with a nice restaurant. The food was all home made and absolutely delicious. Some great views with the ocean next to the complex to relax by too.
When we first got there the reception was closed and we felt a little lost. We got help once the bar staff realised we we're checking in. On the booking.com page it says there's a wellness centre but the reception said there is no such thing which was very disappointing as I booked this place with the desire to exercise.

Everything except the beach was perfect. We got wine, juice, teas, coffees, and water as a well coming gift.
The beach looks like a river beach.

Power shower, spacious room, easy check in, well kept gardens and well looked after stray cats
Food at pool bar. Not enough lights to room 8 from bottom of hill.

It was a quite place and the room had all the facilities. The location was good if you have a car but you have bus shuttle in front of the hotel.
The price was high for what is offered because it didn't have breakfast included and beach nearby. The room was old and the bathroom was small.

nice and responsive staff!
lack off ventilation in the rum

The apartment has a balcony with dining table and possibility to hang your wet clothes.
The kitchen has a good refrigerator and stove and oven. There was also a toaster, water boiler and coffee machine. The kitchen stuff were quite complete(dishes, glasses , cutlery)
The air conditioner was also good. The staff was also nice
The bedroom has no air conditioner, you need to run the air con for a long time to get the bedroom cooled down. There was mold in the bedroom and it made it smelly. The bathroom was also smelly and quite old and there were ants there.
The apartment is located in the Govino bay which is not easily accessible by foot from Gouvia. We finally had to rent a car to be able to reach nice beaches in the area.
There is no real beach at the hotel and getting sth from a supermarket is a bit challenging as the one in the area (at entrance) does not offer everything and the next supermarket is not that much near especially if you want to buy sth for a couple of days.
The bar at swimming pool was absolutely overpriced!

I liked everything at Helion It was spotlessly clean and beautiful and Sofia our host was just lovely 😊

The layout was fantastic with several smaller units dotted through landscaped gardens rather than one massive building. we were located very near the pool and there was always some shade available under a palm tree. we also had a massive balcony with a 6 seater table - always shady which I prefer in 38 degrees heat! restaurant also on site serving breakfast lunch & dinner & a shop too.
The spiral staircase in our apartment leading down to the bedrooms was a bit narrow - easy to bump your head!

easy to walk into Gouvia for dinner. pool excellent and bar available. staff very friendly and helpful.
lunch time meals expensive for what they were

Loved the Helion! Really nice apartment, set in among the trees. Quiet, and a great place to spend a couple of days decompressing after a long walking holiday. Lovely pool, and the food in the pool bar was excellent. Well equipped kitchen, and comfy sofa. But the best thing about my apartment - comfortable beds and soft pillows!!! Almost unheard of in Corfu. Slept so well. Thanks!
Aircon unit in the living area, rather than the bedroom?
The walk into Gouvia along the main road is awful, and not safe. A shortcut is needed.
Shame you can't swim in the sea, but the pool is great.

Very friendly people at the reception and very helpful. The place is nice and very quiet. It has no beach, but that was known, it has a pool, we did not use it, but the appartments are nicely spread, so it is quite good.
The appliances are quite old, the shower in our appartment just broke and water was shooting out of the wall. It got repaired quickly, but first I had to search for the main valve to close the water entry. The shower head is really, really old and should be replaced. Also the oven did not work and general the kitchen needs an update.
Generally is a good place, but it needs more care for the details. We paid around 200 per night, so you would expect a bit more. But all in all a nice place with friendly people.

Location was exactly as described with a great view over the bay. Swimming pool and bar were also very good. Most restaurants were 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Gouvia but there was plenty of choice. Our apartment was meant to sleep 4/5 however the living/kitchen area would have been small for 4/5 - there were only 2 of us so it was fine. The welcome water, wine and fruit juice was a great addition.
There wasn't a sandy beach and as others have said, not enough comfortable (blue) sunbeds. The walk from the resort into Gouvia wasn't pleasurable - especially at night.
