El Vista is a lovely holiday home of a family who live in the UK. It is a stylish, modern 2 bedroom apartment with quality furniture and fittings, with lovely views of the Caribbean sea from the patio. It has its own plunge pool for sole use. El Vista can sleep up to 5 people. It is 5 - 8 minutes walk (or 2 Minutes drive) to a glorious beach which never gets crowded and just 10 minutes drive from Holetown which has excellent restaurants, bars, night-life and a good shopping centre. The newly opened “Lime Grove” is a shopping experience not to be missed. Diving centres and swimming with turtles are available at nearby beaches. Tennis courts are available in Holetown and Speightstown . Also several golf courses are only a few minutes drive away.
Several places of interest are within easy reach of the property see “Welcome Book” in the Apartment.
The patio overlooking the floodlit plunge pool creates great ambience for alfresco dining in the evenings as well as providing a cooling off place during the day.

El Vista is wonderfully situated, with views from the patio down the hill to the sea. It is on a road from the west coast that links to the main road going north/south. We have stayed here before, and our return visit speaks for itself. It is well equipped with ceiling fans throughout and air con in the bedrooms. Chilling out on the patio, there are beautiful birds to spot in the trees, and a couple of days we saw a huge frigatebird by the coast. We watched some naval ships manoeuvres, yachts, kite flying, beautiful sunsets. We visited Holetown and Speightstown by bus and hired a car for the last two weeks. We highly recommend El Vista.

We were more than pleased with our stay at el vista. The condo had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Any items of concern were dealt with immediately. I would say a vehicle is needed as the adjacent road is quite steep. We have already booked again for next year. Great staff.

Accommodation is simply prefect for 2 couples or a small family. Great plunge pool and patio area. Grass area for the children or adults. Whirly line for your washing, if you choose to do so, with washer and dryer on the premises. Great big fridge and freezer with ice trays (always a bonus) plenty of crockery, glasses etc. Microwave, big cooker and oven. Shower is great and we never needed to use the water booster for heat. Air conditioning in both bedrooms is excellent. Comfy beds and linen and towels are all good quality. Gail is a truely lovely lady and she will be there to meet and greet you, also happy to do some basic shopping for your first day if you need it. We shopped at Masseys in Holetown and it was really good store to use for all you need. There is plenty of safe parking if you choose to hire a car. We used Drive a Matic. Warning the roads have pot holes on pot holes, but dont let that put you off, its a beautiful island and you really need to explore BIG TIME. Thunder bay is just down the road so you simply need to go there (numerous times) we snorkelled out to the far left and right of the bay and then chilled in Simones or the other bars that are on the beach. ENJOY

A lovely patio area with loungers, dining table and chairs, a plunge pool with a view of the sea. 7 mins walk to Thunder bay. A nice quiet beach with chairs to hire from a couple of small cafes. 2 comfortable bedrooms, a lounge/kitchen. Everything we needed was there. Spacious, clean and quiet. We really appreciated the flexible check-in /out, thank you.

The apartment was nice throughout, and the plung pool was a welcome addition, the hosts were great as was house keeping, we did not meet the property manager because we we out a lot of the time, we will return.

El Vista was such an amazing pick, it literally was home from home. It was well equipped and kids friendly. The view from the patio was so beautiful, definitely the best we've stayed in so far. Gail (property manager) was great welcoming us, even made sure we had breakfast ingredients for our first morning. Also, thank you to Fabian for cleaning the pool and also to Kimberly for helping us keep the apartment clean. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in Barbados and El Vista was the perfect base. The apartment had everything we needed and was a short walk from the beach and other amenities. We hired a car to get around but also made use of the ‘reggae buses’ which could easily be picked up on the main coast road. The blue ‘government bus’ stop was also close by. The local beach is stunning and has a beach bar and food available. There are other bars and restaurants in walking distance including Wafel Haus which does the most amazing brunch, Marcy’s, John Moore rum bar, Lower Carlton Variety Grille on a Friday and Saturday night etc.
The plunge pool was a great way to cool off and there is also a small garden with extra loungers. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a relaxing stay with a great view and easy access to everything the West coast has to offer.

Housekeeping is excellent .. Kimberley comes in twice a week to clean change towels and bedding. Beach at the bottom of road is beautiful.. 🏖

We had a really lovely time at this apartment. It is well decorated and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We particularly liked laying on the sun beds on the patio watching the sun go down. We enjoyed breakfast there too. There is a little grocery shop close by and a bus stop at the end of the road. We used the buses alot, they are good fun for visiting towns close by. There is a great grocery store called Massey in a Holetown which has everything you need. The beach is within walking distance and it was one of our favourites on the island. We swam every day! The beach bar is also excellent. There is a lady (collect Simone) on the beach who cooks great food - jerk chicken etc. All in all a fabulous holiday - we will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay.

Lovely stay in Barbados
From the beginning the contact with Elma & Tony was very warm and helpful. El Vista is a lovely appartement in an area near to different amenities and the beach.

Perfect place and lovely hosts
We booked this for our son and his family and they arrived a day late due to a delayed connection. Elma the host was very understanding and even offered an extra day free to make up for the missed flight. The kids loves the plunge pool and the beach was a walk away. Brilliant

Excellent for Relatives
Wonderful two bedroom with a relaxing pool. Great view, too. Cleaning service was fantastic. The beach is close and the best on the island. Pricing was spot on, too. Barbados is a great island and safe, and I've been to six other islands. Barbados is the best of all of them.

So much worse than I expected
My girlfriend and I really wanted to enjoy this place but it fell very short for us in almost every way imaginable. We stayed at El Vista for 15 nights which was far too long. We were looking forward to and when we excitedly arrived everything was less than what we had expected. The place is incredibly dated and everything has severe signs of wear. The sheets had stains and looked like they were purchased in the early nineties along with mostly everything else in the apartment. There's nothing interesting or inviting about the place either. It's very bland and everything in it was severely lacking in quality. The property manager was also incredibly rude and unwelcoming to us. She raised her voice at me when I asked a simple question about the wifi being fixed since it was broken when we arrived.
This place was nothing but bad news from the day we got there. There are such simple things that could've been done by the host to make the place more accommodating but it's clear that there's just a lack of care for the place. Simple things like replacing the shower head would make a huge difference - it's rusty, covered in limescale, and looks as old as the apartment. I would give this place 0 stars if I could and really hope no one else makes the same mistake we did by renting this place.

Our stay
Property was tired, floors clean, stained sheet, and mattress cover was disgusting., however changed promptly. Cupboards all dirty inside, I cleaned the bin cupboard myself as well as the washing machine dispenser.The property was on a very steep hill so very noisy on patio as traffic over revved to get up the hill and used horns on the bends constantly. Unsafe at night to walk down the hill, pot holed unlit road. Car would be needed, however dangerous blind entrance and exit to property.. During our three week stay we endured power cuts, national water cut and a local mains water burst pipe where we were without water for 23 and a half hours. We definitely would not go back and feel we could have been better informed on the location .

El Vista
We had a superb holiday staying at El Vista. The apartment is centrally located between Holetown and Speightstown and really close to a great beach (reeds bay). We would though suggest that you need a car to fully explore the island. We visited St Nicholas Abbey, Atlantis sub, animal flower cave and Hunts gardens. All were fabulous.
We'd recommend the Fish Pot, Just Grillin and De Outback for evening meals and the shop at the bottom of the street has all the basics and a bar!
Big thanks to Lloyd for organising a car for us. We tried to make our holiday car free but rang him on day two. He had a car in the car park ready for me in two hours!

Can only say 😀� your in for a bit of heaven a truly beautiful place to go with lovely food people beaches.the atmosphere ambiance. The apartment itself has everything you need all you need to do is lay on the sun lounger 😀�listening to the birds 😀� nothing is a problem if you need anything Rachel will fix it .if she can a truly lovely person 😀�who goes above and beyond to help. Shop at the bottom of the hill if you need a bag of sugar.access to bus stop easy 😀�from there any place to you wannabe is a breeze 😀� would recommend this place to anyone. Bright clean and really well suited for a perfect holiday .in fact I’m laughing at myself as I’m writing this as the more I recommend this beautiful place the less chance I have to book next year as it gets booked up pretty fast 😀�😀�😀� wonderful is the way to describe this place 😀�can only give five stars 🌟� Enjoy if you book you won’t be disappointed 👌�😀�👍�🏾�

Quite and relaxing staycation
The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. A home away from home. We highly recommend. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant, from the owner, to property manager and house keeper. I also recommend using HomeAway to book my holiday as this was quite easy and straight forward. We live on the island but it was a nice change of scenery. Thanks again to everyone involved for helping to make a much needed break relaxing.

Extremely Satisfied
The location is great! It’s right up the road from the beach and a seven minute drive from Limegrove. The area is safe and the locals are extremely friendly. Kimberly who took care of the house cleaning was extremely pleasant and helpful. She answered all questions we had and even suggested some fun activities for us during our stay. Our stay went off without a hitch. The home is absolutely beautiful! Thank you again.

El Vista is self catering at its best.
El Vista is a lovely apartment , its very clean and very comfortable , fully equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday , in fact you could say home from home.
The bedrooms are air-conditioned which makes it very comfortable of a night time, theres a safe deposit box and wifi all included at no extra cost.
Beautiful view from the patio , with a view of the sea and a view of the wooded area where if your lucky you might see a green monkey or two , as we did , very peaceful and quiet location apart from the occasional car that passes on the road beside the property but that wasn't an issue with us.
The local beach is idilic with crystal clear water and white sand , its very safe for swimming and snorkelling with a coral reef just a short swim from the shore that is populated by lots of colourful marine fish , the beach is mainly used by a handful of friendly locals and has a small sandy carpark if you drive there.
Shopping for food and provisions wasn’t a problem as there is several supermarkets a stones show away , the local store is at the bottom of the road in walking distance , although for the bigger ones a car is probably needed .
Communications with the owners was second to none , we was in touch with them every step of the way and once we arrived in Barbados that continued with the help given by Rachel the property manageress .
All in all we couldn’t fault this apartment and would definitely recommend to others and definitely stay again ourselves should the opportunity arise .

very well furnished, cozy, like at home, a wonderful view of the sea, the beach is very close, and most importantly, the apartment has everything you can need on vacation, even mats and umbrellas for the beach

Good location, good value
We enjoyed our 2 weeks in this apartment which is well situated on the nicest part of the West coast with easy access to both Holetown and Speightstown and the main costal road bus routes.
The apartment and patio are spacious and compared well with other rentals we have used in Barbados and we would recommend it to other visitors.

Very Pleasant Stay
A lovely apartment, we made use of the lovely plunge pool. Felt very safe and secure at night. The only slight downside is you need a car as up a very steep hill and not safe to walk down it in the evening. In the day time buses into Holetown, Mullins and Speightstown are very easy and regular. Would stay again and totally recommend

Fantastic property every thing you needed on hand seriously as a housewife it had the basics for cooking your meals with out your feeling it s a nightmare I would say they could do with some large mixing bowls tubs so you could marinate food or mix a batch of dough but otherwise all good 😀�I would say you definitely need a car service was excellent beds comfortable view amazing n above all shop local and beach a 2 min drive away or a 7 min walk the towns 15 min away n easy ride on local buses 2 dollars 😀�lovely locals lovely place and a true original way to get to know a beautiful island food beer sea life beaches what better place to do it the agent rachel was on hand at any time a truly lovely experience and will be booking again very soon

A little bit of private luxury
There was a secure feeling on entering the grounds, being met by the Manager made everything really welcoming and the high standard of the apartment is made obvious from the John Lewis crockery to the M&S bed linen. The information books gave good suggestions as to eating places within easy walking distance and also places of interest a little further afield. The beach is a stones throw away with places that should be on everyone's shopping lists like Holetown and Speights Town within equidistance of the apartment. We would give this apartment 4 1/2 out of 5, the extra half would be if there was a swimming pool, although the plunge pool was rather 'good'.
We will definitely stay here again and we're planning on it being sooner rather than later.

LOVELY APARTMENT
This apartment is perfect for a couple or a small group of friends! The balcony is so nice with the plunge pool and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking big meals (lots of pots/pans even a blender). The bed was super comfortable and really nice pillows. Great location and only 10 mins walk to the coast. The hill on the way back up to the apartment is steep! But it's worth it for the view. I would recommend staying here - its super quiet and private. You never see anyone from over the fence cos its really high. There's a great restaurant about 7 minutes walk away called 'De outback'. Its really out of the way and do great cocktails and some of the best snapper fish I've ever eaten!
