Just as advertised! Very clean and comfortable for our family of six. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to all of the touristy things we did in and around Charleston.

My overall experience was very nice. I booked last minute. Communication and check in was on point. Beautiful home. Very spacious and clean. The only comment I would make is to make it known the owner lives on-site (or lives there often). This is not a negative comment however, it is highly stressed its illegal to park in front of garage. The first day I when I returned from grocery store the garage was up. I panicked because I didn't know anyone else was there. Owner was very nice.

THE HOUSE IS VERY NICE
THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS BEAUTIFUL
PLENTY OF SPACE THAT THE 7 ADULTS DID NOT FEEL LIKE WE WERE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

This property was perfect for a fun reunion in Charleston! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Our family had a get together in this home, coming from NC and IL. The home is located in a circular planned neighborhood with beautiful little parks and old live oaks throughout. Home is very beautiful, functional and comfortable. Everyone especially liked the comfortable beds. Home was well appointed with linens, towels, kitchen utensils, condiments, etc. to make for a very carefree stay. Neighbors were friendly and kind. House is dog friendly too, with plenty of places to walk. Highly recommended, would stay again! Location is centrally located and fairly convenient to Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, and Folly Beach.

We enjoyed all staying together in the Celtic house. It was very clean. However, we did have some trouble with the heating system (very cold the first night) and no blankets. The water pressure was weak in the top bedroom and the chairs were all metal, not that comfortable. Besides those things we had a very nice stay.

I booked my stay for a party of 5 adults, and a 12 pound dachshund. We were in town to find an apartment for my daughter and her boyfriend for the fall semester.
The Pros-The house is outfitted well for a party of 5. It was clean, and although we didn’t cook, it appeared to be decently stocked with supplies. They provided minimal towels and extra supplies.
The Cons-The entire interior of this house needs to be repainted. The owners have attempted to touch up the paint making it look worse for wear. It looks like a frat house with all the patch marks and scuffs on the walls. The pool table is laughable because it’s so small, and it’s way too big for the room it’s in. There are scuff marks on the walls and even the ceiling from where the pool cues have hit.
The biggest problem was the neighborhood. This ‘dog friendly’ neighborhood has neighbors that let their dogs run free without leashes. The dogs run up on you repeatedly. We had 5+ incidents of this in our stay of 6 nights. Dogs trying to jump the short 4 foot fences, dogs running around while kids played. There is a leash law in effect for this city, but this neighborhood doesn’t care. Our 12 pound dog has been attacked previously, and is extremely nervous when an unknown dog approaches. The loose dogs just ruined this location for us. This isn’t the under control of the owner, but needs to be mentioned.

Charming home in a cute, quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was provided. Definitely large enough for 4 adults, 3 kids and a dog :) we enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfect for my family of adult children. The bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms well stocked with starter supplies. The living space is sizable and opens to the kitchen so it was easy to all be together. The house isn’t particularly well stocked, so you may want to plan ahead. For example, we saw only two kitchen towels, no spices or oils and the bedrooms had no extra blankets. Communication with management company was easy. I would definitely consider this house again.

What a great “clean” house. Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. Unfortunately, we checked out yesterday due to family circumstances. We hope to return to your wonderful home!

We came to Charleston for a wedding and this house was only 25 minutes to downtown Charleston and 25 minutes to Mount Pleasant where the wedding was. The neighborhood was very charming, full of huge 300 year old live oaks. The stairwell leading upstairs and the room with the pool table had a lot of paint touchups, which made it feel kind of like a frat house but otherwise the house felt very clean. Would stay there again

Great time for my family to get together and celebrate my wedding weekend.

The house was perfect for our needs. Pictures accurately reflect the house. The space is very bright and open, and we were super impressed with how clean the house was upon arrival.
The linens were freshly laundered. Good water pressure in the showers. The mattresses not too soft nor super firm. The loft upstairs was perfect for the kids - my favorite part of the house. The pool table was perfect entertainment for kids, our teens, and the adults!
Parking is limited, so if you have more than 2 cars, it might be tricky. The surrounding area perfect for walking and there are green areas near by.
The only thing is - if you are a light sleeper, the house is somewhat close to the train tracks and there are trains running at night and the occasional airplane could be heard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and Steven was communicative and responsive. We didn’t have any issues!

We had a wonderful stay at Celtic Green! The communication from Steven was the best we have ever experienced at any of the places we have stayed over the years. The house was in a great location, super cute neighborhood, and very clean. It had plenty of space for all 7 of our family members to relax and not feel crowded. We had a great time playing pool and spending the holidays together. We would definitely book again!

We stayed at Celtic Green over Thanksgiving with various family members from different parts of the country. The overall layout of the house and bedrooms worked perfectly for us. The kitchen (always the soul of a house for my family) is large and open to the living room, so it was easy for everyone to hang together when we prepped meals and snacks. The pool table was an added entertainment bonus. Although the room is too small for serious pool shooting, it was the second-favorite hangout spot for my gang. The master bed and bathroom were very spacious, and all the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Previous reviews have mentioned the patchy paint work and the repaired couch; we noticed it, but it didn't affect our stay. The house was well-prepped with nice linens and good towels and toiletries. The wine and cookies were a nice touch (and the wine was actually good!). The binder with instructions and local information was very thorough and conveyed caring for the property and guests' comfort.
The immediate neighborhood is incredibly charming. If other reviewers mentioned it, I didn't notice because it was a wonderful surprise. We walked every inch of the development because the houses, trees, and landscaping were wonderful to see. We unloaded our car and locked it each night and had no problems. The street parking was also ample.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Celtic Green has a good base started but could use attention to the finer details. While the house was comfortable we would have appreciated a porch light turned on (motion lights would be perfect) Also, the dishwasher wasn't working properly at check out. The furniture was comfortable but obviously old and used. The patches on the couch worked fine but it wasn't what I expected for the amount we paid for the rental.

The house was clean and in a convenient location to everything Charleston has to offer. The pool table was perfect for spending time together and just hanging out. I would certainly recommend this if you’re wanting to check out Charleston!

We stayed as a group of 7 adults - 2 couples and 3 solo - and found check-in easy, with plenty of space as described. The house was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, soap, etc. Lots of information was available from the hosts, via binders, menus, maps, guide books, and email communications. They also left us a nice note, bottle of wine, and cookies to enjoy, which was appreciated.
The house itself is largely as described, but could use some refreshing. All of the kitchen items are showing wear and tear, as well as some of the furniture, especially the couch, which had been repeatedly patched and was still showing newly forming rips in the cushions. A lot of areas on the walls had been covered with fresh paint in mismatched splotches instead of the wall repainted.
The area the house is in is a cute neighborhood. Getting to and from the neighborhood involved driving through some less savory looking areas. I am pretty sure this is the case whichever direction you enter from.
Unfortunately, possibly due to this proximity to a rougher area, my vehicle and several others on the street were vandalized (a smashed driver's side window, my compartments rifled through) while we were there, and a house across the street was broken into. This wasn't the hosts' fault, but I didn't feel quite as safe afterward, not to mention the distress of having a vehicle damaged while away from home. When I reported it to the hosts, I was just told crime is on the rise everywhere. So, others may want to be aware you may become a victim of such crime while you're there.
Overall, the money wasn't worth the experience for me and I think I'm done renting houses after this - it'll be hotels for me from now on. Your mileage may vary.

This is a beautiful property in a great location. However, it's time for some reinvestment in the property. 1st if you book this property on VRBO it's listed as having 7 beds and there are only 5. We had to make adjustments and get airbed mattresses to accommodate our girls group. But the rooms are nice and spacious. The sofa in the living room is not in good shape. It's patched because dogs have scratched the fabric up and looks dirty. My sister was bite by something while seating on it. Afterward no one would seat on it. The owner told me the sofa is going to be replaced. Someone else mentioned it in their review in July/2022 our trip was at the end of August. Water pressure and hot water for showering is an issue. The 2nd floor faucet stopped running when more than one person took a shower and the shower on the 3rd floor runs out of hot water after one shower. My friends didn't seem to have this problem on the 2nd floor. However, the owner does respond to your text messages and seem very much willing to help in any way they can.

It was just right for our family of three grown children and their significant others. Had all the necessities to get you started. Loved being able to sit at the dinner table together. Could not really play pool - room was too small for pool table but home had great Wi-Fi and internet.

Nice clean house. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our four kids. Great location.
Would definitely stay here again!!

This property was great for our family. Cute neighborhood with Charleston style homes. We each had our own rooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. Very clean and the host great was very responsive. Convenient location to downtown and about 1/2 hour to beaches.

The 3rd floor lost with bunk beds was perfect for the kids. Plenty of bathrooms for the guests. Very comfortable stay.

We chose this home because we needed a spacious 4 bedroom home, in a safe and quiet neighborhood that was close to downtown, shopping and the airport. Perfect! And the host provided lots of information well ahead of us arriving.
I do want to point out some of the details that we didn’t appreciate. The 1st thing we noticed were the 4 or 5 unprofessional patches on the sofa. No one wanted to sit there. The sofa upstairs had the same unloved feeling. The bedding, though clean, was not the best quality and a fair number of the dishes in the cabinets were already dirty. The water pressure and temperature in the baths were low and cool.
Be prepared to sort, recycle and take out your own trash (we weren’t!!). This was a first for us ladies and we totally failed at it.
Having said all of that , and maybe because we’re just picky, we would still recommend this home. We always felt safe (top of our list) and navigating to/fro was easy. The host just needs to work on the details and this would be a perfect place.

We had a great time the house is in a great neighborhood and close to many places. I enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood and looking at all the live oak trees, and the swings in the common areas were a nice touch. The house was clean and we played pool daily.

We were greeted, with a bottle of wine, bag of cookies, and hand-written note on the counter—perfect hospitality! The house was absolutely perfect, and stocked with everything we would possibility need. We went into Charleston, several times, with an easy 20 minute commute, to the downtown area. This was a great place to stay, for our group of 7!

Our experience with Steven and the property was perfect! The home was exactly what we needed for my friends and I to relax and explore the area for our golf trip. Everything went smoothly and park circle was a great place to hang out just a short distance away.

Celtic Green was perfect for what we wanted. It was away from the tourist area but an easy drive to every tourist thing we wanted to do. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space when we needed it. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for the weekend with my mom, sister and friend for a girls weekend to see Charleston. The location of the house was so pretty! The house was huge, clean, modern/a little southern charm. Definitely would recommend for a North Charleston location.
