Clean, helpful staff, great location
Average room with a strange set up. No stationary or ‘nice touches’

Great cultural heritage, especially the bar and waiting room. A great historical vibe in the building
Whilst we appreciated the age of property a bit of maintenance all round would have helped; loose & broken floor tiles, rust around taps, broken bath panel. The hotel is very boutique which we loved however iit leaves a lot to be desired in the details & general upkeep

God service og rent . Bra beliggenhet.
Frokosten var god men betjeningen var sein med å fylle etter med mat, drikke og glass. Fikk en følelse av at det var smålig. Vi forventet en fin restaurant på et såpass kostbart hotell, men der var det bare en liten indisk restaurant.

The location is great and the staff is friendly.
The room was not clean, the breakfast not fresh and the hotel is not worth 5 stars.

The location was fantastic
Our room was really dated and tired. The tv didn’t work, the bathroom fixtures were broken.

It’s a lovely hotel and perfectly situated, I have been before and no doubt will come again

The staff were very helpful

Location is great, rooms are modest but fine. Staff is polite. It is a solid choice near Oxford Circus.
Like many places in central London, outrageously overpriced for what you get. Basically a budget hotel quality-wise with luxury hotel prices due to location.

Fantastic location for the London Palladium, Liberty London, Carnaby Street, Regent street and more. A shoppers paradise.
Two minor things:
1. Getting the TV to work was more complicated than it should be. We weren’t too fussed but our 9 year old was :)
2. Our room could’ve done with a hoover as we found long hairs and crumbs, which wasn’t great.

A very friendly atmosphere, staff are excellent, convenient for shops , got everything we needed
Nothing to criticise

The room was a good size for London hotels
The room was very noisy with street noise. Staff were not so welcoming nor pleasant - looked like they didn't want to be there.

The location was very central and easy to commute on foot to many near by attractions and public transport.
Unfortunately the house keeping did not meet the criteria, when finding debris from the previous guest who had stayed in the same room as I. It was also brought to my attention that another couple, also staying in this hotel, was also shocked to find belonging from another previous guest. When giving the staff the chance to rectify this issue no matters were taken place, resulting to me and my partner staying in an unclean room for the night.

the staff were all excellent. They made the visit if i'm honest.
The facilities were poor, the pool had the wrong balance of chemical and so the floor and the pool were slimy and when the water was disturbed it was murky. The rooms were not in a good condition, poorly filled in cracks, and mould in areas. the breakfast room had wires everywhere so i and a few other tripped over them (but again the staff were excellent!)

The location is very central.
The man running the breakfasts was great even though it was an impossible task to do on his own.
The quality of the room and breakfast was appalling. I deliberately chose a five star rating as a special occasion trip. But there is no way this hotel is five star. I would expect better quality rooms from a travel lodge.
The shower head was broken, only held in place by some scraps of broken plastic wedging it in place, so clearly been like this for sometime. I had to crouch to get my head wet. The shower door on the bath was broken so only one pain remained, so the floor got soaked. The curtains were hanging down on one edge which looked awful and meant light was coming in as they didn’t close properly. There were stains on the curtains and net curtains. There were dents in the wall where someone has clearly bashed it. There was only one small mirror in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. So I had to use the hair dryer without a mirror.
Breakfast was disappointing as I had to wait for plates and utensils. It took 15mins to get a bowl for cereal, which was then boiling hot as had just come out of the dishwasher, so the milk in my cereal was then warm.
I raised my concerns at reception and was assured someone would contact me within two days, which never happened.
