Breakfast was great, it was easy for me to get a taxi to go places.
We had to ask for towels and floor mat for the bathroom. The rooms need to be updated.
2.0
THE SUPERVISOR NOR FRONT DESK STAFF DID NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISE TO FOLLOW UP. WE REQUESTED CHANGE OF ROOM AS THE ONE RECEIVED DID NOT QUALIFY TO WHAT WAS BOOKED.
NOPE, DID NOT HAPPEN.
THE ROOM SERVICE, THE DINING STAFF.

Staff were friedly
Pool was excellent
Food was great
Rooms were nice with great ocean view.
Water in taps in showers and taps was brown with no signs indicating any issue or apologies.
There were immense queues everyday for breakfast and lunch, and food frequently ran out.
Room service didn't top up coffee and sugar in rooms daily as usual.
2.5
You'll need to cater for lay over and have availability for earlier than normal with a cost attached.
3.0
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was local and tasty.
I did get my request for special bread.
The presence of management around the compound was appreciative.
Serving staff were friendly and helpful as usual.
I did see some repairs being done to the facility.
I was charged an additional TTD$3,600. And deserve a refund.
The menu was quite repetitive.
There was no fire escape for the upstairs units. This is a safety risk and needs to be addressed urgently because there is only one entrance.
There is no lifeguard on duty for of beach.
The people on the outside of the beach are a bit shady and I believe are a nuisance to the foreign guests. If they are trained to present themselves they may not be frowned upon.
The hotel should include in the package - eg tours available especially to close beaches and areas to take pics..black rock, Plymouth etc

Location was perfect and we will be returning
Condition of the rooms were basic at best and serves the purpose of a place to stash your stuff and sleep if you plan to be outdoors more than indoors. My children enjoyed the pool immensely
Food selection. We did not have the all inclusive package. In most all - inclusive places, the food is not the best quality and attracts a crowd that isn't the best quality either. The restaurant was definitely under staffed and sadly the quality of the food choice, presentation and selection reflected this.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the eating areas as well as the service provided by all staff.

Breakfast, was good the some ladies who was serving needs to be a little more welcoming
Every other experience was good

Breakfasts and the pool area and free water sports
Dinner, rooms needed to be repaired. Renovated and updated. Some staff were particularly unhelpful and unfriendly especially those on reception. Others like Cheryl and water sports staff and security were friendly) the hotel did not accommodate any of our special requests that were made in advance despite them having confirmed these were possible.

Pool was great and the rooms were clean
The rooms are very outdated.
Food was not great.
Difficulty getting staff to fix complaints about the room

It’s located on the beach, so it was easily accessible.
The pool was under renovation and you would not have know unless you contacted the hotel directly. In my case i found out after booking and i couldn’t cancel because nevertheless I’d be charged 50% of the fees

The location view was excellent.
Friendly staff.
Excellent range/variety of menu for meals. Great tasting food but limited drinks menu. The drinks they provided was good but inconsistent with the different persons making the drinks. The pool was very beautiful
Overall an excellent experience.
The drinks were inconsistent in taste

Location
The resort was outdated and the toilets didn't work.

Meals were great but both breakfast and dinner could have gone a little later than they did - we often felt a little rushed. Entertainment was also good - the steel drum entertainer was amazing - but the entertainment also could have run a little later than it did.
There was a little bit of confusion with the fact we had an additional family member staying with us for two of the nights we were there - even though we had let the hotel know ahead of time that this would be happening.

Breakfast was nice, love the view of the beach while eating. Nice variety.
The hotel is a bit old fashioned. The a.c wasn't that cold. The staff weren't in unison about what to do if you're not part of the all inclusive package. Breakfast starts too late (730am) does not cater for persons who need to leave for the airport around that time or earlier. The lunch option was poor. More options needed as there's only so much rice dhal and chicken one can eat at one time.

Michelle at the Reception is exceptional.

Beach proximity
I missed the ferry to Tobago I probably reached in 8pm thereabout as opposed to reaching in 12 etc.I wanted to cancel as we reached in that time and check out was in a few hours ,didn’t really make much sense .Reception was not heart warming ,I think was the manager on duty (didn’t get her name -very condescending).we eventually stayed as the credit card was already charged as expressed by her .It was already tiresome ,my fiancé and I decided to go by the bar as we were hearing pan entertainment from the reception area (trying to make the best of it ) and relax for the night ,upon reaching the bar we saw the restaurant and decided to head in ,as we approached, a stewardess uttered dinner is closed ,she further went on to ask if we would’ve just checked in ,which we replied yes and wanted to enquire what is available The waitress said “hold on,let me see if there’s anything remaining ,as we are already packing up for the night”.She returned with two plates of food .I barely ate anything as I don’t normally eat that heavy at night time,my fiancé ate .We relaxed and took in the pannist ,before heading back to our room .The said condescending manager walked past us and looked in our direction.A minute or less after her entry a staff comes up to us with a bill for TTD500 to our great surprise as we thought the food given was part of the hotel stay.We went over to the receptionist to enquire which she indicated our stay is breakfast only, ok fine .Had we known TTD250 per dinner plate and what it comprised of ,I was not going to indulge as mentioned above. The said condescending manager came in and said y’all booked breakfast etc -ok fine .Why didn’t the staff asked a question ,then & there we would’ve checked in on that booking and act accordingly.I did the booking very last minute,I really did not read into it much .We paid TTD250 only .This was very uncouth . I’ve been to many hotels & never encountered a big mess like this ! It was in poor taste !

Location is close to beaches in the area 15-20 minutes away from the airport
Where to start? I made a booking for 3 rooms. We called a week and a half before our stay asking if it was possible to have early check in for 2 of the rooms as our flight was arriving early in the morning and we had a 3 month old baby with us (early check is advertised by Starfish as being possible once the hotel can accommodate). We were told to enquire close to our arrival date which we did the day prior to arrival, it was again requested this time via the booking.com app, the hotel replied and said to check on arrival. We called the hotel on arrival to Tobago, the person at the front desk advised us that 2 rooms would be ready by 10 as the rooms had unoccupied the previous night and we can come around that time. We went across at 11am to give the hotel some extra cleaning time. On arrival we were greeted with news that no rooms were ready and they were unaware of our request but the rooms should be ready within the hour. We decided to wait and paid the TTD 300 early check in fee the hotel charges. At 12pm we enquired again and still no rooms were ready, again at 12.30pm we enquired no rooms were ready. I have to reiterate that we had a 3 month old with us, the hotel's lobby is not air conditioned and the ceiling fans provide no relief from the humid lobby area. One of the 2 rooms was finally ready at 1.30pm and we were given a refund of the early check in fee, as we could have made other arrangements had the hotel not told us the rooms were ready. The only reason given was that housekeeping took longer than expected. When we got to our room (on the opposite side of the hotel with no external access on that end so we had to walk with all our luggage) the room had a strange smell and seemed in dire need of some upgrading. The television channels were all scrambled so nothing could be seen.
