Charming property with a lot of character. Great location; short drive to downtown and restaurants. Host regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Furniture could be upgraded as there were some water stains. Overall would stay again.
4.3
It was a good place to stay overall. The furniture in the living room was not the most comfortable, so hanging out with family there was not the greatest, but it was a good place to land while exploring Pittsburgh.

We chose this house based on the location near Grandview Park. The house was comfortable and suited our needs for a short trip. Everyone had their own space which always helps make a vacation go smoothly! We didn’t have a car this trip but there was always parking available when my oldest son, who lives nearby, came to pick us up.

Great host. Very accommodating. Nice house. Carpets need a good cleaning and front walkway needs a bit of repair. Great location for walking to some restaurants, bakeries, the incline, etc.

Accommodations were perfect. Neighborhood was very quiet. Close to downtown and various locations. Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay again!

A great house located with easy access to all that Pittsburgh has to offer. Great communication and an excellent host. Would recommend to everyone!

Great location close to downtown (a short Uber ride).

Our stay was extremely smooth and easy to navigate. The host replied quickly when we noticed we had run out of trash bags. They personally dropped off a new set for us. Great place for a large group!

Process was smooth. Location was an inexpensive Uber ride to downtown, stadiums, restaurants. Would rent again.

The place was what we needed, plenty of room and a good kitchen. There's a leak in the roof so the stairs leading to the top floor were wet anytime it rained. The 2 top floor bedrooms get very cold so we had to borrow a space heater. We otherwise enjoyed our stay.

The house was what we needed for a family get together. the large dining table accommodated all of us and we were able to walk to a nice view of the city. A bit more attention should be paid to the sheets, towels and condition of the mmattresses. Overall we had a nice stay.

Lovely place, everything it states on the description. Fun location on the hill top. Clean and newly remodeled. Wonderful place for a large family get away.

I really enjoyed by stay at this property. We were in town for a concert and stayed two nights. There was plenty of linens, amenities, beds, bathrooms, and space for five people. The house is nice, clean and comfortable with a back deck. I liked the location pretty well. It was in close proximity to local restaurants and the overlook of the city. It was easy getting downtown also. We found two parking spots right in front of the house. It beat staying in an expensive hotel hands down! I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Thanks Corey.

We had a good stay - clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental property. Renovations were done tastefully. Kitchen was spacious. Large dining room table easily sat10 people. Family room provided ample space for card games, conversation. Bathrooms were clean. Location provided fairly quick access to the downtown area. Only drawback were the uncomfortable beds. Some of the mattresses were hard, and made for a restless sleep. Despite that, I would recommend this property.

We had high hopes for this property. We were traveling to Pittsburgh to visit family and needed a place to stay with our small children. Upon entering the property we noticed heavy evidence of lingering cigarette smoke. There were exposed nails all over the floor boards. We first noticed these when one of our children got stuck on a nail and scratched her leg. The basement door was off its hinges and open for anyone to fall down the basement stairs. The back door did not lock securely and the slats in the back deck were wide enough for a kid to fall through. The cleaning supplies were tucked behind a curtain that was easy to get to and not safe or secure in any way. Both the property manager and VRBO have been extremely difficult to work with in issuing us any refund after we deemed it not safe to stay with our children. This property would be fine for college kids who don’t need to worry about the safety and security of small people. It is NOT family friendly. Very disappointed in this property and VRBO.

We had such a nice weekend in Pittsburgh, and this property was a huge contributor to our positive experience! It was easy to check in and check out, it was clean and it was ready for us when we arrived. There were simple instructions for WiFi and the television. The location was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. And Corey was SUPER helpful and responsive- before and after our stay. We didn’t actually need to communicate while we were there! I would absolutely recommend staying here and will book again upon my return to Steel City!

Modern & Stylish on Mount Washington was a great find for our family gathering in Pitt.
It has easy access for getting on and off the expressway and street parking was readily available. The location in reference to The Incline and Downtown was favorable. The Bakery in Shiloh Shoppes was Amazing, but disappointing that the coffee shop has been closed down.
The House has been nicely remodeled, with unique details, well stocked, and very accommodating for our family. (Some beds more comfy than others, but doable for children.)
To the Owner: Leave detailed instructions for use of the Oven (we never could get it to work.) Definitely consider a more proficient cleaning service.

This is an old house in an old Pittsburgh working class neighborhood but has been very well remodeled and modernized. It is very clean and well furnished. Our impression on arrival was not good as the house is uninspiring from the outside and the front porch could use a cleaning. But upon entering we were pleasantly surprised.
A few suggestions:
It would be helpful to have a folder inside with information about the location of grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. Luckily we found a neighbor who helped us out. We could also have used information about the television - what's available etc. It took us a long time to figure out that there was nothing but over the air TV. Finally, a map of the neighborhood and its access to the city would be very helpful. We would have been lost without our GPS.
