Erw Wen (meaning White Acres) is a short walk to either Broad Beach, Town Beach or Maelog Lake. Whilst the bungalow is situated in a peaceful spot in Rhosneigr, you are very close to the beaches, shops and restaurants. Erw Wen has full central heating, an open fire in the lounge and unlimited hot water - it is very cosy. Rhosneigr is famed for its water sports whether it’s sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking or fishing with tuition available if you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique. But there is so much more and this house is the perfect base to make the most of everything there is to offer in Rhosneigr and in the surrounding area. A short walk down Chelford Close brings you to the edge of the sand dunes and to a safe sandy beach perfect for games with the children or walking the dog. There is also an 18 hole golf course, bowling green and tennis court close-by, or you can walk to the village and enjoy the shops (general stores, Gecko, Fat Face, Fun Sport) cafes, bars and restaurants or you can just relax in the secluded garden. Erw Wen has been carefully refurbished and has a modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area and has been carefully designed and furnished to make it the perfect place for family and friends to get together and enjoy every moment of a seaside holiday. The interior of the house is practical and comfortable with every modern appliance to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The floor to ceiling windows in the main living area provide lovely views to the decked patio area and into the large lawned garden – perfect for small children and dogs. Patio table and chairs are provided, so you can enjoy the large, secluded garden. The kitchen features an electric oven with microwave, ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a separate lounge, which has two comfy sofas set around an open fire, with Smart TV and DVD player. The main bathroom has a bath, shower over the bath, washbasin & toilet. There is also a shower room with a walk in shower and toilet and there is an outside shower to rinse off the sand. There are two double bedrooms with double beds and the third has full size bunk beds. All bedrooms have wardrobes and chest of drawers. There is gas central heating, which means that you can enjoy Erw Wen all year round. Constant hot water is always available.

Lovely pet friendly bungalow in a quiet side street in Rhosneigr.
We went for a short break in March 2024 and were blessed with perfect weather.
The accommodation really is the perfect holiday home. A great layout with eye catching dining area overlooking the lovely garden. We felt at peace and comfortable as soon as we got there.
The kitchen is very well equipped to cook full meals.
The dining area is a delight so we ate in a couple of times.
The dogs loved the fully enclosed back garden which in warmer months would be lovely to sit out in.
There were loads of dog bowls and the hard flooring through the main living area made it easy to cope with dogs in someone else's house. The heating is highly efficient so although I love an open fire we didn't bother to light one. No firewood is provided but can be bought locally.
You can walk to the main beaches and high street in 5-10 minutes.
Easy parking at the front for at least 2 cars.
One master bedroom, a smaller double and a bunk room complemented with a full bathroom and a seperate shower room made the house very easy to live in.
I just wish we could have stayed longer.

The bungalow was ideally located in Rhosneigr. It had everything needed to make it a home from home stay. The host was extremely helpful. A great stay in a great property.

With ample parking for two cars and large garden it makes sense for a group of friends or family to enjoy.
Just don't forget to duck when the planes are landing

We had a wonderful week , despite changable weather.
The holiday property was sacious with a quiet enclosed garden and was located an easy walk onto two beaches and to a good selection of local eateries and shops.
I would certainly stay ther again and recommend it.

My parents, myself and my dog had a wonderful stay. Fantastic location a few minutes walk from the beach. Lots of dog friendly places to visit. We loved the property with the secured garden and it was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and pubs. Elaine was happy to answer any questions and we will definitely be planning another trip! Thank you!

The owner allowed us to get into the property early because the housekeeper had finished early which we very much appreciated. The kitchen and dining space are really lovely and we spent most of our time when we were not out in there.
The furnishings and decor are a bit dated throughout the rest of the house and the beds are only doubles so if you are used to a king size it takes a bit of getting used to!
The garden is lovely and the property is within easy walking distance of the sea beach and the Oystercatcher pub/restaurant which is fantastic We had a great Sunday lunch there and it is dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place

The property is light, modern and airy particularly in the kitchen/dining open plan area. It has a cosy lounge that comfortably seated our party of 5 Adults and 3 children and a dog and the open fire made it feel really homely. The property was warm with a good central heating system if you do not want to bother lighting a fire. The children loved the large secure rear garden and spent many an hour outside playing games. The property is in an ideal location within close walking distance to the beach. There is also plenty of parking for 3 large cars. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend a stay - we will be returning. Finally the host is really communicative and will try and accommodate your every request when possible - Thank you Elaine :-)

Cracking property. It's the 2nd time we've been here and, like the first time, our stay was excellent. Felt homely with everything you needed to hand. Definitely recommend.

A really lovely bungalow, absolutely everything you could possibly need for a stay, spacious, clean and very cosy with the fire at this time of year. Only 3 mins walk to beach and to the lovely Y Glan-Neigr & Sarisa Indian pub/restaurant, fantastic idea, a pub with an Indian kitchen and the food was amazing, also a short walk to local shops and more place to eat, can also recommend Mojos, and about 10 minutes stroll to the oyster catcher, definitely worth a visit. Would recommend a stay. :)

Lovely kitchen and nice, spacious garden for the dog! Everything we need was there in the property, which is close to the beach and to some lovely walks.
The bedrooms really need updating and furniture (including beds) could do with replacing.

Booked for 2020 (covid), moved to 2021 (A-level results day changed), moved to 2022 & made it to Rhosneigr! Fell in love with the village & surrounding area. So much to see & do - if you can get the kids/dog off the beach!
The property is very well equipped, spacious & sunny. Garden shower great for beach kit & plenty of towels for all. Unpacked with a cuppa & hobnobs thanks to a thoughtful welcome pack. Excellent communication throughout & help available within 30’ for a minor issue.
My very anxious Labrador settled quickly, loved the holiday & didn’t want to leave! Brilliant week! Will be back…

Lovely location for beach and shop. House was good but needed a good clean and not ideal for anyone sleeping on day bed as lots of glass and no blinds so woke up at 5 am every morning. Had great use though.

Lovely accommodation Elaine the owner had thought of everything, which included milk coffee tea and biscuits on our arrival. Great enclosed garden if you have dogs would highly recommend this property.

May holiday
We had a lovely family holiday. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and come and go as we pleased. Our young adults enjoyed the smart tv and doing their own thing walking , cycling & surfing . We loved Broad beach and the lake walk. We found the house lovely and bright at the back with a nice garden. The kitchen was really easy to work in and had plenty of pottery and good pans . Also liked the rapid wash on the washer and dishwasher. Maybe a cake tin would be a useful addition although bun tin is available.All in all good time had by all .

Lovely place, great location
Last minute decision to take a weekend break on Anglesey, communication with owner was excellent. The property is very comfortable and has everything you need for a holiday and more. Although it was just myself and small dog the property is perfect for a much larger family or group. Perfect location for getting around the island and plenty to see close by. The house was very clean and well equipped. Thank you for a great relaxing break.

Local shops are fairly limited but perfectly adequate (nearest larger shopping facilities only 15mins away in Holyhead). Property is large enough for a family of four. Large garden great for dogs 🐶. One small issue with the central heating was fixed within an hour. Otherwise, nice relaxing break.

Very spacious with an excellent enclosed garden for the pooches.
Great communication with the owner, responding within minutes and rectified any problems immediately. Couldn’t do enough.
