Lovely location and house. Kitchen could have more crockery and cutlery!

The location was great -- walked to restaurants and activities in the harbor. Big benefit was the outdoor space -- patio with table for cards/games and balcony for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine looking out over the harbor.
Communication could have been better -- long wait for response prior to visit. Had a problem that was resolved completely but had to call more than once to get help.

Lovely house and location. Very convenient for all that Poole Harbour has to offer including access to the park. Great pathway to walk along the sea/harbour front. The house is spacious and has fab views from a balcony overlooking the harbour plus a small but pretty outdoor space.

The location had a nice view of the bay, and was only a very short walk to center. Off road parking was good.
I would definitely recommend this owner and property. And will use it again when we visit the area.

The property was in a excellent location with views over Poole harbour. It is walking distance of cafes bars and restaurants. The property was very clean but tired in places. There was a lovely vase of flowers on our arrival and we arrived early but was able to park up and explore the resort.
The kitchen was tired with door handles missing. There was no champagne flutes which was such a shame. The ensuite shower cubicle was stiff and we were afraid of shutting in case we broke it.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay.

After our holiday to Italy was cancelled we were looking around to see what dregs were left on the UK market. We stumbled on this absolute gem! Perfect location, beautiful views, lovely house - what more can you want! Oh I know- a very welcome and gracious host! Stephanie was wonderful, thank you so much. I can’t recommend this holiday home enough!

The only thing the property had going for it was the view. The couch in the lounge only comfortably seated 2 people due to the curve of the sofa. Not sure how long the property had been on the renting market, but the kitchen was sparse in utensils and cooking pans. We had to buy our own to bake a casserole. The mattresses in all 3 bedrooms were terrible, even after sleeping on top of duvets. The king bed is actually two single beds pushed together. The double is an annex room with no natural lighting or Windows - the room is off the dinning room in the conservatory. The house is not well insulated as it was either too hot or extremely cold, very difficult to get a constant temperature even with the heating on constant. The sensor for the stair lights was on and off every 5 mins. No hooks on doors in the bedrooms to hang up dressing gowns and no rails in the bathrooms to hang up towels, either hand or bath towels. No bath mats. No hair dryer. There was no welcome folder with all the instruction manuals and places to visit. The water tank was not constant hot water and had to wait for it to fill. The property gave the feeling that either just started renting out or about to stop rentals, as even the basics were minimal. I feel bad giving this review as Stephanie was very helpful, but as I have done many of these through different rental websites, I feel I have fair knowledge of what is expected. I would think twice about renting a cottage again throug HomeAway.

Excellent welcome from Sue with a lovely touch of a full fruit bowl. The most amazing house we've stayed in, in a long time, the house is extremely well equipped and there was nothing we didn't have. The views from the balcony over looking the harbour were outstanding. We would highly recommend this property.

Had a lovely week in this nice conversion of a fishermans cottage. The house is clean and comfortable and the view from the upstairs lounge is wonderful. Sue gave us a very warm welcome, so nice after a long journey,Thankyou for the fruit! Poole has plenty of places to eat so afraid the kitchen was not used that much! Visited the New Forest, Bournemouth, and over to Swanage from the ferry at Sandbanks. Would love to come back and visit again, already missing the view!

Have just spent a brilliant week in this marvellous house. Great for ages 89 to 5 years old, as my family were, and all had a fantastic time and were so sad to leave.
The house is very comfortable and the beds made for a good nights sleep. You can either sit on the balcony or in the patio garden and the conservatory/dining room is a great place for a family meal or get together.
Car or no car everywhere is so handy to reach and just sitting on the balcony or walking along the quay it's all superb. You can get a great meal at the Banana Wharf restaurant with a great view of the quay. On a Friday around 6pm there is a parade of different types of cars each week along the quay, we saw mini's on 10th June 2011.
Good places to visit are Compton Acres Gardens, Corfe Castle and model village plus the steam train to Swanage and good meals can be found at all. Poole museum is very interesting and many other shops and places in the old quarter. Brownsea Island is worth a visit and Kingston Lacy. If you want sand then Sandbanks is the place to go or take the ferry boat over to Studland.
Sue and her dad Paddy are fantastic, the perfect hosts and eager to help you make your holiday extra special.
Can't say enough about how wonderful the place is and would recommend to anyone. My family and I will definitely be staying again.

Just spent a fabulous week at Sea Breeze. The property is in a great location, just minutes away from the town centre, everything is within walking distance. The house is exactly as it says on the web, well laid out, lovely and clean and wonderful views of the marina and Brownsea Island from the upstairs. Had great meals at Fishy Fishy, Storm and the Italian upstairs at Dolphin Quay (can't remember its name!!). Had excellent days out at Sandbanks beach, Lyme Regis, Swanage and Brownsea Island.
Would definitely recommend this property, it makes the perfect base for exploring Poole and the surrounding area and the owner, Sue, is lovely!
