I did expect more from this guesthouse based on what I had seen from reviews, pictures and price.

When I arrived I liked the look and feel of the place. Staff were friendly and assisted me with an early checkin so I could arrive much later that evening.

The room was very small with a very low ceiling. I didn’t have towels in my bathroom when I arrived. After a long day working at an event, a shower was what I was looking forward to. I arrived very late so I couldn’t request towels from staff. I left by about 7:50am and couldn’t find a staff member to assist with taking my key. I eventually went into the kitchen and found someone that could take my key. I also found a weird long hair on my bed so I felt a bit uncomfortable getting under the covers.

I loved everything about the property, the location,the manager and the staff, the rooms and the pool, also the nature around us.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave on Sunday, my wish was to stay at the property forever…Hahahahah

We really had a great experience. From the time our booking was completed, we received consistent communication 👏🏾. Check-in and check- out were seamless. Breakfast was indeed amazing 👏🏾 😋 We will definitely be booking again. Everything we needed was in reach.

We are coming back. If that does not say alot, nothing ever will.

The size of the room, The bed The furniture The surroundings The peace, we could even fit in some studying The breakfast The staff The views from the pool area, The pool and how clean the area is There were 2 of us but I loved seeing the option for a group setting

This is not a Migdash thing but everywhere, I think on the last day the breakfast times should be allowed to be later because its hard to wake up from such comfort, bath, pack be ready for breakfast before check out at 10. Only if the stay was crappy will it be possible to make these time.

Wonderful breakaway close to Johannesburg

Spacious room, well furnished, excellent bed and linen, the aircon was welcome during a heatwave. The breakfast was great, personalised from a selection. Nice swimming pool. We enjoyed the Magaliespark grounds where it is situated. Very safe environment.

My room did not have a shower which could be an issue for some. The stairs to access this room is from the garage which is not ideal. The other rooms do not have the same issue.

absolutely amazing!

The location is absolutely amazing! From security, cleanliness, staff friendliness! I would recommend Migdash to my friends and colleagues. I absolutely loved the breakfast provided and the attention to details in the rooms!

The wifi in the downstairs room can be a bit weak, but other than that we absolotely enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

There is really nothing not to like the,great communication from the host and fast responsonses.the exceptional location which is serene and tranquil from the daily busy schedule the fantastic views and unobstructed picturesque surrounding photos don't even do justice to the location also exceptional service from the staff not in your way but definitely available upon request will be sure to come back.

Expectations not met

I liked how friendly the staff were. Very welcoming and always ready to help. The breakfast wasn’t too bad as well.

The property is not so Morden. The room we slept in had no air conditioner. Well, a heater was provided but wasn’t functioning well. It seemed very old. Even when we put it on maximum, I could touch it with a bare hand without feeling the heat. Car Parking is far from the gate. The smell of the room is just a bit offish.. it’s like old plank mixed with water. There is no full body mirror. Just a lot going on.
