This apartment overlooks the river, with views out to sea. The location is just superb and the apartment was spotless, well fitted out and very spacious. All communications with the owner and the agency were excellent, with prompt responses. My mother and I stayed there as we wanted to visit the landing beaches and attend a ceremony at one of the war cemeteries where my grandfather is buried and it was the perfect location for this. Although it was hard to tear ourselves away from the view from the living room and balcony, we also combined the trip with some sightseeing, visiting Bayeux but also exploring Courseulles itself, which is a lovely little town, lots of good restaurants, an excellent bakery and a lovely market on Tuesdays and Fridays. We hope to be back!

The apartment was lovely, as was the town. We enjoyed our time here very much. The check in process was a bit confusing, but all was fine in the end and we had an enjoyable stay. Property owner was very responsive and helpful.
