The cottage was bigger than it looked on pictures. Lots of extra little touches that really made the stay, like coffee sachets, towels been provided etc. Very clean.
The owner came to say hi and told us about some lovely local places for walks etc.
Theres a Loch a 5 minute walk away that was beautiful.
The cottage was very comfortable and homely, perfect for what we were after.

The kids loved the play ground & the DVDs. It’s close to Loch Ness.
Spring mattresses weren’t very comfortable.

Location perfect and very quiet. Cottage was very comfy, pet friendly and a lovely wood burner too. Great to have parking outside the cottage. Plenty of walking locally plus the Great Glen Way close by if you fancy a longer walk or fancy mountain biking instead. Fabulous views. Less than 10 mins drive to Restaurants, shops etc in Drumnadrochit and Inverness a short drive away too. Jason the host gave us great tips on local area. Already going to book again.

This lovely house was like a home from home, my youngest daughter has additional needs so 4nights in a hotel is out of the question for us as space is needed. We had plenty of room here, it was clean and warm, and the use of a washing machine etc was super helpful. I could have sat in the bench out the front all day the views were stunning. Tranquil little village close to everything you need as long as you have transportation. The children loved the bowl full of biscuits so thank you for that and the beds were super comfy. We feel lucky to have spent the Easter holidays here
rugs upstairs were a bit slippery against the wooden floor, not really a issue though, we just lifted and put back down when we left to prevent the little one falling.

beautiful location, peaceful, clean and tidy. fully stocked with cleaning supplies etc anything you could think of it was there. lots of interesting books to be read, even games for the kids. Being able to use the real wood burning fire with plenty wood to burn. beautiful cosy house couldn’t ask for more. being able to bring the dogs was a big bonus
nothing negative to say

Excellent location. Very nice environment. Very convenient to get to Glen Affric with stunning walks. We loved to be able to walk to the nearby loch and it was great place to swim!

The house is exceptionally tidy, cozy and homely, set in a beautiful and peaceful location with excellent connection to Drumnadrochit and Inverness. It is equipped with everything you may need to feel welcome and at home - from cutlery and dishes to books and boardgames. The fireplaces is wonderful and really creates a romantic, Highlandy atmosphere. The owner, Jason, is very friendly and always there to help. 100% recommended!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very friendly owner that has thought of everything. Everything was comfortable and cozy and we felt right at home. Lots of wood for the fire and the basket of hot drinks and cookies was a nice touch. It was great having a washer and dryer too, they both worked well. My kids absolutely loved the park right outside the front door too! Of the 5 places we stayed in Scotland, this was definitely our favorite. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Very little to find fault in here. The only real issue we had was with the fridge. First, I wish it had a freezer compartment for the icepacks we needed in our day bag. That would have been nice. But the real issue is we couldn't get it to get very cold. We adjusted the temp several times but it never got any cooler. By the end of our stay we felt we needed to throw our sandwich meats and cheeses and other parisheble foods away, we just didn't trust it and they didn't look good anymore. So that was a real waist.

The house is lovely and cosy. The location is brilliant with stunning views. The property has absolutely everything you could possibly think you may need and more. The hosts are very nice and made our stay easy and stress free. Our children loved the park facing the property and everyone on the street are friendly. We felt very safe during our stay. We can not wait to book again. drumnadrochit is less than a 10mins drive away, here you can find shops and restaurants, Nessie land and the Loch ness exhibition centre. We highly recommend booking a Loch ness boat tour at the exhibition centre for stunning views of Urquhart Castle and the hills surrounding the Loch.

Very comfortable and plenty room for 5 of us. Great play park for kids. Lots of chairs, cozy blankets, little dinning area and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom.
We felt like the wood burner wasn’t working properly. Wasn’t actually giving out much heat. And we needed it as it was quite cold.
