We had a lovely sea view room with comfy bed and nice ensuite. The hotel has a beer garden across the road in front that is fenced and gated which was ideal for our dog. The hotel is very dog friendly and he got his own little gift pack on arrival with a ball and treats. We ate twice in the hotel and the meals were delicious. Lovely cooked breakfasts as well. Corrie is just a few minutes up the road from Broddick. We found it a lovely hotel.

The door wouldn't lock!

The view exceeded expectations and the staff were lovely, the food was great.
The bed was a little hard but that was my own preference

There was nothing to fault.

Taylor the GM was very polite and attentive as well as all other staff. I enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the bed was comfy.

We received a very warm welcome on our arrival into a warm cosy hotel on what was a very wet and wild day. Our room was warm, clean, comfortable with a great shower.
We had a great evening mixing in the bar with the friendly staff, residents and locals.
Although we didn't have an evening meal in the hotel, residents and locals all speak very highly of the quality and selection of food available. The breakfast in the morning was huge and excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
The only thing that would have made our stay better was if we had been able to stay longer!

The location was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
There are no televisions. You wouldn’t need one in daylight hours as the views outside are stunning but it would be nice to have the use of a tv at night to unwind before bedtime.

The view, the otters, the class pub food, the relaxed vibe of the place, the very very helpful staff (special mention to Jordan) and the ghostie history !
There’s nothing we didn’t like …. The only thing to mention is if you are going with a dog that is sensitive to noise / barky then be aware you can hear other guests bedroom doors, bathroom fans etc in the night . We learn this the hard way on the first night but the amazing staff found us another room in a more secluded part of the hotel so the rest of the stay was perfect !

Location was good and excellent parking facilities. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good with decent options for both breakfast and dinner. Excellent beer garden overlooking the beach. Bedroom was comfortable with good ensuite facilities.
Third floor bedroom - too many stairs. A lack of lounge seating as the bar was very busy
most nights. Allowing dogs to lounge on the chairs & sofa was most disappointing

A splendid and historic hotel with magnificent views across the Firth of Cyde. Excellent dinner and breakfast, superb selection of Single Malts on offer at the Whisky Bar. A peaceful and beautiful location, lots of wildlife in the vicinity. We stayed during the Swallow and House Martin nesting season, it was great to watch these birds whilst enjoying a pint in the beer garden opposite. Helpful and attentive staff all helped to make this a truly excellent stay and we shall return.
Nothing of note, all good.

People at the bar
Everything. The room for three of us had 4 bunk beds and a noisy fan in worn bathroom. It also had some external hum from time to time. The room also “featured” a window into the wall. Also, the breakfast finished at 09am. Yes, we came at 9:15 and it was over.
I know all of this was written somewhere in the small print, but this doesn’t help all of us remember this place as the worst travel experience ever.

Struggle to put into words how good a stay this was great place to stay highly recommend the staff we're fantastic food was amazing the location is fantastic just flawless in every way
The worst part was leaving to be honest lol 😆

Lovely location - peaceful and easy to locate and access.
Great facilities for our bikes.
Staff accommodated request for room with a sea view.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and sincere, without bring overpowering.
We had a room with an adjoining exclusive use bathroom vs en suite. This was not an issue, but not as convenient.
Minor issues only
Veg lasagne was a bit greasy.
Most people had dogs, and we're not doggy people. However, the room was very clean and there was no doggy smell in the hotel.
