A little slice of heaven - romantic and charming setting, totally renovated in 2017. Beautifully furnished with brand new appliances, couch, chairs and bed, nautical décor including shiplap ceilings. A perfect get away for honeymooners & couples, a weekend away or parents with children, sleeps 4.
Less than a 2-minute walk to Quissett Harbor and the Knob. A beautiful place for a picnic or to watch the sunset. A half mile walk to Quissett Beach and Surf Drive Beach overlooking Martha’s Vineyard Island.
There is one bedroom and one bathroom which has a tub/shower. It features a brand new, fully equipped kitchen with electric stove and granite counter tops. There is a washer/dryer in the basement, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TV’s with cable and wifi are also included. Brand new patio with grill and patio furniture outside.
While the beach is a half mile walk, it may be helpful to have a car to beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. There is parking for two cars in the driveway. Nearby beaches – The Heights, Old Silver and Woodneck beach (great for kids).
There are two bikes available or rent additional ones at Corner Cycle: Just a short distance from the front door is one of the most well-maintained bike path roots in the East. Ride along the Shining Sea Bike Path to go to town or visit the quaint village of Woods Hole - all on protected and safe paved bike paths.
Downtown Falmouth is only a couple of miles away and has lots of restaurants and shopping. The harbor, restaurants, pubs, boutiques, Falmouth Farmers' Market, Cape Cod Baseball League Games and Thursday Night Town Band Concerts are all in town as well.
In addition, more Cape Cod destinations are a short drive or a ferry trip away. Take a mini road trip to Provincetown for a full view of Cape Cod or hop on the ferry at the Steamship Authority to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. The house is close to the Island Queen Ferry at Falmouth Harbor for a day trip to the Vineyard!
For rainy-day amusement, restaurants, shops, a movie theater and the aquarium are not far!

It was really nice. Clean & neat there was everything we needed. Found somethings at the end, o well. We like to bike ride so location was great.Easy to store bikes. Always enjoy Falmouth restaurants ... Would love to go back! Keep me up dated if rate go's down during any season. The coach dose need to be cleaned.

Cute cottage with nice yard and outdoor table/chairs for hanging out. Comfortable bed and plenty of sheets, towels and pillows for two people. Short drive to downtown areas of Falmouth and Woods Hole. Good space for two adults.

The only thing that prevented this, from being a five star review is that the couch needs a shampoo, as well as some of the mats on the floor. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would likely stay again at the same place.

Great place in between Woods Hole and Falmouth! Love the area! You could come to relax, walk, read, bike or go out on the town in either place! Home is small but great for 2 people. Marissa has thought of everything to make your stay comfy!

Small but it grew on me.
Took a day or two for us to adjust to the size of the place but we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We now love Falmouth. Rode bikes every morning to Woods Hole for coffee and muffins. Did some morning jogs on the roads by the beach. Went to beach every day from around 4 until 6:30 or so. No crowds. We most likely will be back.

Weekend on the Cape
We had a weekend stay at Marissa’s place. Our first night was impacted by a recent nor’easter but she provided us with an alternative option until the heat and power were restored. We were appreciative of her communication and offer to provide us with a backup. Luckily, the amenities were fully up and running by 10pm and we enjoyed the rest of our stay!

Had a great time in Cape Cod. The cottage is exactly as described, well appointed, comfortable, and close to a lot of nearby points of interests in Falmouth. Marisa was super responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely & Clean, Tho Close to Busy Street
We enjoyed our stay and Marisa was a great host. House is thoughtfully set up, including on little things that matter a lot (to us) like dimmable lights, kitchen supplies, etc. The house is right off Woods Hole Road, so you will hear traffic. Loved the air conditioner in the bedroom, which blocked out the street noise.

Well located and perfect for couples or family with small children
The property was well located and well kept. Some minor maintenance was needed. There was A/C only in the bedroom because the family room unit was down, and the back patio lights also were out. But that didn't keep us from having a great stay in Falmouth.

Great cottage for Falmouth vacation.
We have a home in Falmouth and used the cottage for extra sleeping accommodations for a family reunion. It was great. Marisa was very easy to work with.

Perfect getaway spot
Great experience. The place was just adorable and in the perfect spot to launch our cape cod adventures. Perfect for two. Very comfortable bed. Nice little patio and table for dining outside. Bikes to ride. All in all a wonderful experience

Nice retreat
Property is in a great location and is a very cute little house. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. Great for a couple. Easy access to all and use of bikes a plus.
Unfortunately the property keeps getting scammed as a listing on Craig's List and we showed up and other people were already at the house who thought they booked through Craig's List and it was a hassle to sort this out. A better check-in, house access method needs to be put into place to avoid this in the future.

Perfect location on the Cape
Beautiful little cottage for 2 people! Very clean. The owners have updated it fabulously! Most of the basics are available in the kitchen for very simple meal preparations. Lots to do nearby but you’ll want a car for nearly everything. This was our first visit to the Cape Cod area, and we decided Falmouth is the best place to be! Excellent shopping in the center of town. The farthest east we went was 1/2 hour drive to Mashpee to rent paddleboards, which was the highlight of my week! Also enjoyed the Falmouth Band’s weekly outdoor concert one evening, and meeting friendly townspeople. Anyway, there’s plenty to do within 5-7 minutes’ drive in the summer, but curvy busy roads with little or no shoulder will discourage you from walking or biking directly near the cottage.
We had a great vacation, and would love to come back, maybe to experience a shoulder season!

Nice 1Br with convenient access to Falmouth and Woods Hole
A small and charming house in the Woods Hole area. It served as a great jumping off spot for all our activities of the week; beaches, bike trails, the Knob, etc.
It's a small home but the parking is great and the location is easy to find (the only traffic light on the road) The 2nd bed is a pullout couch in the Living Room, so you'll have to put that away each morning. Everything was in spotless condition on arrival.

The cottage was just what we anticipated. Lovely!
We parked the car and used the bike trail to get everywhere. Parking in Woods Hole was difficult so being able to run over with our bikes for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard, breakfast at Pie in the Sky, dinner at Captain Kidd’s or to visit the aquarium was ideal. We went back and forth to Falmouth to shop and eat (highly recommend Anejo—-worth the wait). We used the car to go back and forth to the beach so we could bring chairs, etc.
The Knob is beautiful and shouldn’t be missed. Just a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay!!!
