7. Accueil client 0/10 on me demande d'appeler 30min avant mon arrivé à l'établissement.

Super friendly staff, lovely location in the middle of the countryside
The furniture in the room was a bit minimal

Communication with the owner was good - prompt and reliable. And they were helpful with our requirements to bring three small dogs. Accommodation is basic and off the beaten track, but just what we wanted on our route through France

Lovely room. Very friendly and helpful lady looked after us

Pretty village, convenient location. Very nice neighbour who opened the auberge up for us and gave us breakfast in the morning. Comfortable beds.
We arrived at 19h. The building was locked shut. By chance another couple pointed us in the direction of the house across the road. A very nice woman came and unlocked the building and showed us our room. Unacceptable that a property should have accepted a booking and yet no one was there to welcome us. I had tried to contact the auberge by telephone during the afternoon without success . I revived various calls from a Moroccan number which, like many people in France, I did not answer. It transpired later that this was the owner. He could have sent me a text when I did not reply the first time.
The room was a good size and spotlessly clean but the decor and linen were very old fashioned. Not good value for money.

Good value for the money and the staff was very lovely and attentive. Perfect reception and dinner after a full day cycling.

This is a wonderful old Auberge with exposed timber beams and wonderful timber spiral stairs. The atmosphere is great. Dinner was really delicious and breakfast good. The host was really kind.
It wasn't open at the arranged time and a neighbour had to find someone for me. The wifi wasn't working.

This quiet little auberge in a peaceful village is a haven of tranquility. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast really set us up for the day. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, including arrangements to store our bikes at the end of each day. We were lucky enough to be able to cycle to other local towns and villages each day of our stay, which we really enjoyed. The auberge itself is quaint and quirky, a breath of history, it’s lovely.
We had supper on the first night of our stay, which was very welcome. It was delicious, a three course meal with regional cheeses, though it would have been lovely to have vegetable or salad with the main course. This did not in any way spoil our enjoyment of our stay.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Ok and not expensive food and drink
Bad smell of sewers in bathroom, and no soap. Very poorly appointed bedroom, no wardrobe or hanging hooks. Difficult staircase. Bedroom overlooking busy road, appalling road noise from 4 am. Adjoining room 2 at twice the size and not overlooking the road a better bet, but take ear plugs

The owner was very friendly and helpful, family friendly and gave us excellent tips on where to go for days out. The breakfasts were great and set us up for the day. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. The outdoor terrace / eating area was fantastic. Excellent parking facilities.
More information about the local facilities such as shops etc. Spiral stair was a little tricky for those who may be less mobile.
