We stayed here 6 days for USAFA's Parents Weekend '24. The house was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. All appliances worked. The beds and sheets were SOOO comfortable. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc... My 2 Cadets loved the hottub. There was so much room to spread out between the 3 floors for everyone to do their homework, or just sleep. If this property is available, we will DEFINITELY stay here again for future Parents Weekends or Graduations! This is a super quiet area and the views of the mountains, and the sounds of the birds was fantastic as we sat on the wraparound porch. Complete relaxation. The charcoal grill was also perfect!

Family of 7 with plenty of room for all. We loved the back deck for visiting all day long! Lots of birds and deer to watch. We would stay there again.

The house suited our needs for an extended family home base during a wedding. The porch with hummingbirds was relaxing & entertaining. There was plenty of room for separation as needed, Additionally, there were plenty of pots, pans, plates etc.

Great home for a large family. Loved the deck, hot tub, and open kitchen. We forgot many mountain cabins don’t have air conditioning yet many windows open for fresh breeze. Richard was responsive to our needs. Would have liked a few extra blankets, so make sure and ask early for those to make sure they are on site. Some reported beds were not very comfortable. It was clean. Great location to many activities. Loved the Blue moose Tavern.

We enjoyed the house it was very spacious and plenty of room for our big group. The road is very curvy and the driveway is downhill with 3 vehicles was a bit of a challenge at first but we figured it out. The views from the back deck were beautiful.

We booked this mountain retreat in February for a March visit. I understood March in the Rocky's could be snowy and this year did not disappoint.
When we arrived at the house, the driveway was filled with snow! There was a 3 foot drift at the end of the driveway! We spent the first hour shoveling the driveway out so we could just get to the house! The owner did not have anyone to plow it nor was prepared to have guests arrive safely. Guests do have access to an oversized two car garage to park in. This was a nice perk.
Once we got inside, things were fine. The house was comfortable. We traveled with 9 people and everyone had a place to rest. The kitchen had what we needed to make meals.
One of the kids then went to use the bathroom to discover there was no toilet paper. The welcome book said each bathroom would have one roll and a spare under each sink. There were two rolls for the entire house.
The listing said a propane grill was available for guest use. It was actually a charcoal grill and only 1/8 of a bag of charcoal was available. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know for planning purposes.
The hot tub was hot and functioning properly. The cover could stand to be replaced. It was water-logged and extremely heavy. We needed two adults to just get it off!
The location was great. Close to everything we wanted to see. There was a Walmart within 10 minutes to get groceries or toilet paper.
The owner did work with us about the TP and charcoal issue.

Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, open floor plan makes it really nice for hanging out together, large kitchen, laundry facilities were great, hot tub clean, and barbeque grill! Nice view of the mountains off the deck. Spent many mornings and evenings on the deck!

Great property. Definitely a mountain property so no trails or hiking available at the location but a great place to stay in the Colorado Springs area.

Love the spaciousness of home. It was perfect for our family. Enjoyed the wildlfe. 3 deer were busy eating and resting just below the deck every day. And the beautiful birds came to the bird feeder everyday.
Would definitely stay again.

House was just as described, pictures in the listing were accurate. Everything in the house worked as it should. Check in/out was very simple. Our literal only complaint are the super creaky floors in the master suite, but even those didn’t detract from the views and how comfortable the house was. Great location too, close to Manitu, Colorado Springs and Woodland Park…..and many popular local sites such as Garden of the Gods, cliff dwellings, Pikes Peak, and others.

Would not recommend getting to the house at night. Do able but harder to navigate the roads to the driveway. But the house was great! So much room for everyone, great views, bird feeder to bird watch, and the hot tub at night was a nice way to relax. The master bedroom floor was very creaky, and we wish the hot tub was on the deck for a better view. But overall everyone really enjoyed the stay and didn't want to leave.

The location has fabulous views and we all loved seeing the wildlife so close up. There were a few things that we felt should have been a little cleaner, but overall, not near as bad as some motels/hotels we have been to and here at least we had plenty of space. My grandkids have already asked me if we can come back!

We had a great time here. This place was not really clean, appliances broken, hot tub didn’t work well. Dining room chairs very unstable. I would not stay at this house again unless repairs were made

Our vacation was amazing thanks for this house! We went Thanksgiving break as a family, from Texas. There was 9 of us total and there was more than plenty of room. Everyone was comfortable and could even spread out when needed. All of the beds and couches were super comfortable. There were restrooms on every level. Everything was super clean when we got there and easy to use. I had a couple of questions for the property manager while we were there, and he always got back to me quickly.
We had an amazing trip and we already decided we will definitely be going back!

It is a bit of a drive on narrow roads and steep climbs so we didn't venture out at night. We saw a lot of deer. It is easy access to Cascade and Manitou Springs.

This property offered and provided what we needed for 11 family members to stay together in one home. Bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate for our needs. I rated the neighborhood and location as 5 stars. For our group this is an accurate rating. You need to know this home sits up the mountainside on curvy narrow roads. Not bad, just a fact some may be interested to know beforehand.

This house was great for my group of 2 adults, 2 teens, a preteen, and 2 under 10. The teenagers basically had their own basement apartment. Twenty minute drive to everything we wanted to do. For the price this is hard to beat. Beautiful views, great hot tub.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was much bigger than we expected. We loved drinking coffee on the deck and enjoying the beautiful views, as well as all of the wildlife. The house was very close to Manitou Springs, but far enough away to have tranquil days away from others. Rich was great to work with and always answered any questions we had very quickly.

This property was amazing! My twins called it the Hot tub house. It was so hard to leave. This house was big enough we didnt feel like we are on top of one another. Perfect location for anything you want to do from site seeing to hiking to attractions. We have never been to Colorado before and the spring time snow we got the first day was beautiful! This is definitely a place we would love to stay at again.. the only thing that i was disappointed about was not having a waffle maker, i perchanced one and left it there for the next person. Other then that It was awesome!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed the house and our time there. The house was easy to find using Google maps or waze . The cabin is spacious enough for a large family or group to stay comfortably and still have their own space. The view from the porch across a valley was amazing. The hottub just melted all those aches and pains away. The cabin feels secluded and private but it's also really close to all the area attractions and shopping. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful spacious home with porch overlooking the mountains. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on a cool fall night, quick travel's to see sights nearby. This was a perfect get away for Fiance's Birthday celebration and time with family under one roof!

My wife and I really enjoyed out stay at this property. It was 1000% more than what we needed, but my wife wanted a hot tub and landed on this property. Outside of the creaky floors upstairs (when you are trying to be quiet), everything was great. The house is very secluded so you can get your alone time if that's what you are looking for.

Wonderful house with great views. House was very clean and well stocked. Very close to many sites and hiking trails.

It appears that some previous guests were rather hard on the place, so there were some things in need of repair. The owner was able to do many of these quickly, but some had to wait and ideally, repairs would be able to be completed prior to guest arrival. Normally the lack of AC probably wouldn't be noticeable, but it was fairly warm and having all of the ceiling fans in the main room working might have helped. The basement is almost its own living area, and had some needed repairs (like a bedroom door that didn't open/close properly). The family members staying down there also reported some spiders, although we didn't seem to have any on the upper floors. For anyone with limited mobility, a rail or handhold next to the stairs in the garage might be helpful. Overall it was a good stay and the house was definitely big enough for our group. We could easily reach attractions in the area using this as base camp.
2.5 / 5.0
Gorgeous views and two “balconies” to enjoy it! Great for even two families to share as upstairs and downstairs have separate living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms.
