This four bedroom, three bath duplex has everything you need for a memorable beach vacation. The primary suite on the third floor has a Queen bed, private bath with Jacuzzi tub and private deck area with partial views of the Atlantic. There is an additional bedroom with private bath also located on this floor with 2 Twin beds, perfect for the kids!
The main level has a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops, a combination living and dining room that leads out to your private deck overlooking the pool, and a large flat screen HDTV with Direct TV. This home has WiFi via ATT, and Roku's at the TV's for entertainment.
The first floor has a street side bedroom with one Full and one Twin bed and an additional bedroom with a Queen bed and private deck. It's just a short 3 blocks over to the beach.
"Southern Swordfish" shares a fenced in pool with the duplex. For larger family groups that would like to be close to one another please ask about renting the adjoining unit, "Hooked on Swordfish", for a total of 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms!

Overall a good stay but cleanliness of mattresses and couches wasn’t great and a lot of dead flies all over the place. also dishwasher never worked during our stay and the freezer never made ice so we had to keep buying bagged ice for when we needed or wanted ice. We did notified the property manager and a guy went out and told us “he had to put in an order for new dishwasher that it seemed to had been broken for a while”, and for the ice he did offer us some ice trays so we could make some…. Just buying ice seemed better cause it would have taken a while to fill a small cooler with ice trays lol. There was also a wasp nest right outside the balconies so we couldn’t really enjoy the outdoor. we also mentioned that, due to some of us in our stay being highly allergic to stings, and I had my 1year old and 3 year old with me. I was told they were going to take care of it the following morning. To not worry. and the day for us to leave came couple of days later after that. And the nest and wasp were still there. It was never taken care of. The location overall was good for our family, it was close to the beach and had a pool that we enjoyed.

The property was as described and acceptable for the price point. A few notes:* The outside shower is nice, however, it's just connected to the hose, so there was no hot water.* The pool was serviced mid-week but got a little green by the end of our stay. (We weren't going to use it anymore at that point, so we didn't notify Bryant staff.) * The kitchen was well stocked.* Be prepared for a duplex rental, your neighbors are super close.* There isn't much "extra" to this unit, so it didn't feel very homey (nothing hanging on the walls in the master bedroom).Overall, the unit could use a little TLC (hang towel rods, clean carpets) during the off season. I likely will not rent again unless I rent both sides.

We called on on day one to report the dishwasher did not work. No response. Downstairs bedrooms were dusty (you could see your fingers drag in the dust on the window sills), but kitchen area was clean. since we had small children with us and another family, not having use of the dishwasher was very inconvenient. Pool was nice but the dishwasher issue was really inconvenient. Outside furniture on decks were in horrible condition...compared to the other condo's decks where furniture looked newer. Hey...not that expensive to get suitable outside furniture...not with pieces falling off and pieces of the chair poking you.

This trip was so very necessary ! This year has been a crazy one to say the least and getting away when we did was just what the doctor ordered. The house was very spacious so no one felt they were on top of one another. There were no complaints about the rooms or beds. The common area had plenty of sitting space. We were located 3 blocks from the beach and loved being able to walk there whenever we wanted. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. Cooking is HUGE in our family and there wasn't a single complaint as we did our culinary ballets.
We hope to visit again and maybe next time rent both for the extended family/friends next year.

My family and I rented this home for our annual family vacation. One of the reasons we rented the home was because of the pool. When we arrived at the home, we noted that the pool water was dirty and there was debris and sand at the bottom, which was disappointing. There is also only one tv in the home which is the living room, so if you have children that you want to entertain with tv, this will not the property for them.
As the night progressed, we had a issue with the toilet on the 1st floor in which it would not feel. We had elderly family at the home and walking to the 3rd floor to use the restroom was incredibly hard. The home does not come with a actual person who is responsible for emergencies. You have to call the rental company, which was almost impossible to get in touch with after hours.
Nevertheless, the next morning, I as well as 2 other members of my family, visited the rental office to talk to management directly. I spoke with Chris about our concerns and he stated that that there has been several complaints with the pool from past guests. I don’t know why this issue was not fixed prior to our stay, especially if there had been several other complaints. In addition, he told us the toilet not working was a “inconvenience” and that we were not impacted by this “inconvenience” we kindly let him know that when we pay money for a house, we expect that all isssues related to the house to be working, as we have paid for these amenities. He told us that he has a meeting with management the following week and that he would discuss possibly reimbursement of some of the money paid for for our “inconveniences”
Fast forward to 2 days ago, Chris, emails me not mentioning any of the issues we brought to his attention upon our visit, but tells me that he found a broken towel rack in the upstairs bathroom and that he was charging us $85 to fix the towel rack. I never saw the broken towel rack and if I had noticed it, I would have documented it and reported it, as we did not break a towel rack. I mentioned it to my mother in law, who reported that she did see it upon using the bathroom, but never mentioned it.
The house has some issues that need to be addressed but Chris attitude was the main issue. Had we been dealing with the actual owners of the home, it probably would have been different. I WILL NOT be renting a home from ANY home that this rental company manages. Poor management and they lack customer service

I spoke to a manager on Monday who said I should be expecting an email Thursday morning or Thursday afternoon regarding my stay after the Managers' Meeting yesterday afternoon. I am attaching a list of the issues we had.
1. Waste Disposal in kitchen sink did not work and backed up into the kitchen sink.
2. The downstairs bathtub didn't drain.
3. The upstairs air conditioner was out when we arrived.
4. The air conditioner on main floor and downstairs went out on the 3rd day.
5. The pool dirty all weekend. We were informed that pool company didn't work on holiday weekend.
6. The pool light went out on our last night.
7. The downstairs bed kept coming apart while the occupants were sleeping on it because the slats weren't screwed or nailed down.
8. The downstairs toliet lacked enough water pressure to flush properly.
9. There was no overhead light or fan in upstairs bedroom.
10. There was not a working vacuum. It was in a pile in the kitchen with a broken table.
11. The outdoor shower didn't work.
12. After being on hold for 40 minutes, I was hung up on.

Girls' Weekend Getaway!
This was such a perfect house for a girls' weekend. Great location, easily walkable to the beach, tons of space (and 3 bathrooms!), and the pool area was a perfect place to hang out and catch up.

Great location but lacks amenities
At this price point, I was surprised to see the condition of the house. There is a single television, old appliances that need replacing, broken window coverings that don’t block any light at all (think bright bright sunlight at 6 am), and a kitchen lacking serving pieces. The location and pool were fantastic though.

Plenty of room to spread out
The property was a great location only 3 blocks from beach, so a short walk. Great less crowded end of the beach with Tiki bar only several blocks up so made a great walk up the beach for a drink and lunch. The pool was very nice for the kids before & after the beach. The 2 twin room with it's own ensuite bathroom on 3rd floor was a nice feature for the little kids. Only thing missing was a hair dryer, but not super important. We enjoyed our stay and the property manager was super friendly and helpful with a door code and wifi question. Would highly recommend.

We were very disappointed. We were told two weeks out from our arrival (after making rental arrangements many months before) that we would need to pay for an extra night of stay or be moved to a different rental because the owner of house Elanora decided he wanted to increase his minimum stay. It is ridiculous that days before check in an owner can change the minimum stay forcing people to pay for more nights than they need or find another house which that close to arrival is very difficult. We spent hours deciding on the perfect house and it was inconvenient to change to this house (Zebka)-we had to downgrade from a 5 BR 4 BA to this house-a 4 BR 3 BA(which was selected by Bryant). Zepka was a decent house, but was smaller than the one we had originally rented and was extremely dirty.
Our complaints, including pictures, were told to Bryant right away. They apologized and said they'd check into it. Either a cleaning company had not been there or they did a horrible job. Toilets, sinks and tubs all had hair, old toothpaste, dirt and grime on them, there were stains on several of the carpets and furniture, there was something sticky (an old spill) that was on the floor in the kitchen by the top of the stairs, the master bath shower door had built up soap scum, the kitchen refrigerator doors were filthy, the coffee pot had dried coffee in the bottom of the glass pot and used coffee grounds in the filter, kitchen utensils were dirty some with food on them in the drawers, bath mats had hairs on them, the master bath sink had no drain cover, there was water damage on the blinds in the BR downstairs, the tile to the master BA jacuzzi was broken, etc.
We have rented lots of beach houses over the years and while we understand there are minor issues that pop up we have ever had an experience like this. This experience will definitely impact our future rental decisions and recommendations to others for which rental company to use and we will never rent thi

We had an awesome time here. Loved the location and the private pool. The only things I would change would be that the cleaning crew had only really done a touch up. It was dusty and dirty under the couches and tables. Otherwise very clean. I also would recommend having at least 2 additional TVs. 1 TV for 4 bedrooms and a living room isn’t a lot. Especially when you have young children and adults. I would also recommend bringing dvds or a roku if you have children.

When we checked into our rental, the place wasn’t clean. The carpets smelled and were very dirty with spots on all carpeting. Comforters were very smelly & dirty and needed washed. The couches were also stained. We notified them and they said they would clean the carpets but they didn’t come until half way through our week. All counters needed wiped down before using them. Some of the deck chairs are rusty & not able to be used. We weren’t allowed in at our check in time as the cleaners were still “cleaning.” Not sure what they did, but clean they did not. These are just a few of the more major concerns. We would never stay at this property again due to the horrible conditions that we found the place. I also recommend not staying at any of this owner’s properties as they clearly don’t stay up to date with them.

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Beach was a pretty good walk (about 10 minutes) away (bring a wagon to haul things). Decent size pool that was shared with neighbor (but only 5 foot deep). I will warn you there are a lot of stairs here and they're pretty steep and with young children in our party, poorly thought out...I wish we would have brought a couple baby gates. Kitchen was well stocked with things to cook. The condo could have been cleaner and could stand a good deep cleaning. Not a decent view of the beach either if that is important to you. Overall we were satisfied with the place, but wouldn't choose it again until the little ones are a bit older probably just do to safety issues (high top table, steep stairs, etc)

Overall, nice property, close enough walk to the beach with a buggie to help, but this place needs a little TLC. By that, I mean new bed pillows, new outdoor furniture, ice dispenser didn't work, no TVs except in main room, decor is outdated, games need to be tossed (missing pieces, etc.) - rug and sofas are stained/old. Pool is very nice though, very clean and just the perfect size to share with the other unit. Parking is very limited. Outdoor shower door is broken

My daughter got married in the Wilmington North Carolina downtown area. We stayed the following week with the whole family in this property and had a wonderful stay. The only downfall was a lot of steps which was a challenge for my elderly father. The very clean pool was enjoyed by all especially my grandchildren and niece and it is only a couple blocks from the beach which was very accessible just down the road. Plenty of parking for multiple families with vehicles.

We arrived in Carolina beach a little after 2pm hoping to possibly check in 30-45 min early -- that wasn't possible, which was disappointing, but understandable. What was frustrating though was that at 3pm when we were supposed to be able to get in, housekeeping was still there working until nearly 3:30. With five kids in our party that was a tough pill to swallow. It was hard to deal with the smell of the trash that was completely over pouring from the cans at the edge of the driveway (from saturday until mid monday). I feared sanitation services would not even pick it up because the previous weeks tenants left so much that the lids wouldn't close. We also believe the master on the top level had a burned out light. Only a lamp would work the entire week. The "special" remotes for working the lights and fans were mind blowingly frustrating. We had no instructions on how they worked, that paired with perhaps a few burned out bulbs made me frustrated, especially at night when you just want to flip a switch to get the lights to come on. Those were our tops complaints -- however we did enjoy our vacation and we particularly enjoyed this property because of the pool.

Our vacation was wonderful and much needed! The house was nice and the pool was a plus! There are a few upgrades that need to be done (dishwasher & utensils)and the bathrooms needed some work. Other than that it was great. Close to the beach and attractions but not right in the midst of all the traffic.
